I purchased this AirTag to attach to my dogs collar. It was a bit larger than I anticipated but when you consider a larger watch battery C2320 if memory serves is required, the size of the AirTag makes sense. I tested the AirTag at a family members house. She has a full acre of land fenced in. I was able to see the exact address of my dogs location my family member also has an iPhone so this may have been a contributing factor. There was no noticeable movement on the gps app as my dog played in her yard but her address always showed as his location. When I tried updating location I got an error message stating there was a weak signal. We were in a more rural location so this may not be an issue in larger cities. I honestly cannot speak for the technology of this item ad Im not a techy.

These are great. 25 each for pack of 4.Easy to connect. Very useful. My only downgrade is there is no attaching device. They are just round buttons. Luckily you can buy attaching clips at various outlets. But Apple come on, all this cleverness and quality built in and you couldnt add 10 to the cost and throw in easy to use clips in. Odd.

Good product, but need some improvements. The alert tone is just way too low. And it should have AR but it doesnt. Also, no built in gold for a key ring. I still think its a good product and worth buying if you are already invested in the apple ecosystem. Maybe Gen 2 will have the above mention upgrades.

I purchased two of these 4packs of AirTags for myself and as gifts for members of my family. Everyone has been pleased so far. I dont think anyone has really had to test them or use them to locate stuff but I think they will fitthebill when needed. I enjoy that they seamlessly integrate with the Apple iPhone Find My App and there are no other Apps needed. One of my children is now using theirs on their dog who constantly runs away. They have peaceofmind now and are relieved to have this device to help them should they ever need it. I myself have it on my keys and briefcase but will also be installing them on all my luggage when travelling. My wife uses hers in her purse.

Bought 4 direct from apple with etching on them. They work so well I bought one more for a situation like a backpack or luggage, Already in use for Keys, Wallet, Car and if you have a iPhone 11 or later you will be able to find you item right down to the spot where it is. If it buried it will BEEP. YES…important YOU must have a iPhone 11 or later to have to locater to find your items exact spot. Older phones will only locate down to about 20 30 yards. By the way you can reassign each TAG to what ever use at any time. Batterie use is good and uses the same batteries as my SuperSnark Guitar tuners and some remotes. Cheers

This is a great product. I bought it for my dad because he is getting very forgetful. I would have given 5 stars but my dad has an iPhone 8. So unless you have an iPhone 11 or iPhone 12 or later, the tag shows up on your iPhone as its in the house. So you still have to hunt it down. With the iPhone 11 and 12 it will tell you, turn left, walk 3 feet, turn right, walk one foot, and there it is. My dad needs to upgrade his phone.

It goes without saying that this is a masterstroke for Apple. Though the concept has existed for a while now, One almost wonders what took Apple so long to get a product out of this kind.As usual, Apple was smart in making the setup pretty much goofproof. Upgrading your phone to the latest version gets you the software needed to add the tags to your Find app. Acknowledge the tag, Give it a name, then play around with it for a bit to see how it works.I guess the pointbypoint directions to the tag are only available on the latest Iphones. They really need to get a workaround for that.I set up and deployed all four tags in about 20 minutes. Making the tag beep from your phone has already saved me when I was in a hurry and could not find my keys.I bought a set for my nieces and nephews.

  8. blank

    Burningman

Good concept that wont help you find your item in a real world situation. Only works if you are near the tag to begin with. It also depends on other Apple devices to work if it is left far away. For instance, if you attach it to your keys and accidentally drop them in a parking lot, you can only track it if there is an Apple device near by. I also had a friend place it somewhere in my house. Was not able to locate it without some hints from my friend. Definitely returning them .

In keeping with Apples guarantee that all products sync and work together this NEW product further supports itI used it in its simplest task finding my keys in my house and am still exploring its other abilities and limitations.BH Photos order, fulfillment and follow up processes are 2nd to none. Their communications are appropriate but not excessive and helpful. Thanks all at BH

I used the tile before this and now bought the AirTag. I like the size and shape of the Airtag better than Tile. I also like the ease of battery change which will allow some longevity. I do with it had the reverse search function that Tile has where you can find your phone from the Tile itself. Maybe that is Airtag 2.0. Of course the Apple integration into its architecture is fantastic. The locate function is great as well when you are in close proximity. For 29 its a good deal and will buy a few more to make sure I can find keys and things when needed.

I think this is great for a person who travels or loves going outdoor for hiking or partying where its most likely gets lost. This is a wonderful thing for many because if you are like me and loose so many thing a year, this will really help you never loose anything anymore. You will need an iPhone to track this more accurately. Latest iPhone would be better. But other than that, this is just a keychain that can be tracked using other iPhone as a signal to get it online to be tracked via your phone.I just have this in my key as a keychain.

My first experience with a product like an AirTag was the Tile Mate then a Chipolo. While both were handy it required that the item be near other like devices. AirTag does not appear to have that same restriction as I have been able to track my keys in a field with no other devices around. The downside is you have to buy a case for it which can cost an extra 5 via a 3rd party or nearly 40 after tax for an Apple one.

Great gift For any occasion whether its Christmas, graduation, birthday, anniversary etc could go well with keys of a new purchased house or car or anything.Make sure your software is up to date and works with iPhones or iPads with iOS 14.5 or later. Does work with iPod touch. The airtag accessories are expense pretty much equal or more than the airtag itself. Id prefer belkin accessories or anything else

Too soon to tell. it works. i should have put it on my wifes keys as she lost them the same nite i got the AirTag. She doesnt like being tracked so i will have to figure out something else. I found her keys. But i had to get up in the middle of the nite to find them. This would have been the perfect test. I see that there are additional features coming with ios 15 for this device. I will buy several more.

As a result of my awful memory, I tend to lose my items on a regular basis. Since I purchased the AirTag, I cannot emphasize enough on how helpful this little tracker was for me. PROS Lasts for a year battery is replaceable iPhones 11 and up can see where and how close they are lil game of hot and cold If lost, it uses the Find My network aka other iPhones around to help locate your device. Considering the iPhone is a pretty popular product, youd have a better chance at seeing where your misplaced item is at than the Tile network.

  16. blank

    Bigdaddysmith

I have 4 AirTags. One on every set of keys. The APP will point you in the right direction of your lost item if you cant hear the locator tone. When traveling I move the tags from my keys to suitcases and backpacks. A great extra layer of security in case something is misplaced. They can spend up to 30 minutes underwater with a maximum depth of 3.2 feet without experiencing permanent damage.

these are my favorite trackers Ive had trakr bravos tiles but these take the cake. great little trackers just wish there was a way to connect them to your keys without having to buy a case for them. they are loud and the arrow pointing directly to them in the app is nice. would definitely recommend the 4 pack you save money and less stuff youre going to lose.

This technology is great, reading how it pings off Apple phones and comes back to you is wonderful i Been looking for something small and reliable too keep extra tabs on my wallet. After I lost my last one car crash, my wallet itself is a bit big so I hardly notice it. i never sit on my wallet I find it ALWAYS uncomfortable so put it in my front breast pocket .

Set up with the iPhone is a breeze. It tells me the location of my item even when I am miles away. Compared to the last item tracker that I used, it only indicates the last known location until the signal is within the bluetooth range of my phone. This is definitely the best tracker for iPhone owners.

  20. blank

    Charles

These are amazing I can track my keys, my dog, my remote, bag, and everything else I want to track, just like my iPhone, iPad, and MacBook Pro now I LOVE THESE little things. I am definitely going to buy more of them and put them on all the things that I misplace, lose, and my valuables. The ONLY thing that I would change about these is the fact that only one person can track them at a time. So if I lose my keys and iPhone, my wife cannot help me find the keys until I find my iPhone first.

I planned to use this to track my kids in the neighborhood as Ive read review of people using them on their pets etc.I wasnt very pleased with these to be honest. I didnt look into them very much before purchasingbut upon buying realizedWhen they are not in very close range, the ping sound wont activate. So if you were using it for actual use.unless you can practically see it anyway it wont help you locate it with the soundso that seemed useless to me.Also it only works if connected to Bluetooth. So in my situationunless my kids are playing close to someone who has their Bluetooth on their phone it wont give me the location. It just gives the last location that it had connected to a Bluetooth. So if they were at the park without anyone else being their with a phoneit wouldnt let me know. So its kinda useless for me in a way. My mom uses it for luggage and keys but also if you drop them in the yard somewhere unless you physically walk by them.changes are this isnt going to help

  22. blank

    PhotographerJim

Smaller than it looks in the photos, connects simply and quickly to my iPhone. Pinging it with the sound could be louder, but its nice that it starts out quiet gets louder. I have it in my work bag, if Im close to it I can hear it from the inside. I dont have a phone that supports the precision find feature, so I wasnt able to test that out.

The tag is not heavy, so no problems with this on keys, bags, etc.It has a simple compact design that doesnt draw attention. Unfortunately it does not come with a holder so its pretty much unusable. You have to buy this in addition.

Never lose the keys again This is the first tracker device Ive purchased before. Wanted to make sure I didnt lose my keys. Its nice because I dont have to think about it once activated. I dont need another app on the phone. Just go to find my and the device tab and find the tag.So far it works as advertised.

  25. blank

    ThorMolecules

Tracks well but not in real time. Location updates every couple of seconds. There is a feature that displays arrows on the screen of your iPhone leading you to the tracker. As you get closer it vibrates and beeps. The tracker also has audio capabilities to notify the user of its location.

  26. blank

I love this device and having a newer model iPhone allows me to use the precision finding feature, it is way easier to find things with this than with a tile. The precision finding feature isnt quite as good as apple portrays it to be and it sometimes doesnt work at all if it has a bad connection until it gets better signal. I wish it was able to ping my phone by pressing a button on it like the tile, but I think software update will only improve its functionality. and I recommend this to anyone who regularly loses their keys or wallet or something else.

  27. blank

    streky

Its very nice I replaced my TILE with this.UWB Ultra Wideband is only supported on iPhone 11, 12 and later models. So you will lose some precision functionality if not one of these phones. The set up is extremely easy. Perhaps the easiest set up of any product they make.

I have been hearing about these Air tags for some time and decided to purchase a four pack when they were officially released. Because I am heavily invested in the Apple ecosystem, it made sense for me to purchase them for lost and found items. Here is what I like about these Air tags 1 small foot print, 2 very easy to set up, just pull the battery tab and follow directions, 3 the find my feature on my iPhone is very cool and precise in tracking down an item. The only down side is buying an extra key chain, but of course there are reasonable alternatives that wont break the bank for a key chain. All in all, if you are in the Apple ecosystem, these are a good investments to find important items if you lose them, which I do from time to time.

Im a paranoid person. When our parking lot was being tore up to have new blacktop put in and I had to park on the street for a week instead of the garage, I got one of these to put in the glove box for some peace of mind that my car was still where I left it. Decided to keep it there since i park in a very large parking lot at work, where theres a fair share of sketchy folks around.

I got 3 of these since I sometimes misplace my stuff while on vacations and at home. They are very simple to use, fit just about anywhere, and dont have any external buttons that could get hit while in my pocket. I compared these to Tile, and they are better in the sense that Im not always setting them off. And I like that you can help others find theirs if they should ever happen to loose or misplace an item. The only thing that I wish were different about them is the fact that they dont have a rechargeable battery. However, considering that I can get a year out of just one battery with them might be reason enough for me to overlook that.

Handy. Just works and integrates well with Apple devices. Not for those that want to track down stolen devices. Apple prioritized privacy over theft protection. Its fat too easy for a thief the throw the tag away after it beeps letting them know they are being followedPerfect for what they intended. As long as you understand the purpose, youll be happy.

  32. blank

    RockHillBob

I just received these today and was easy enough to setup. The issue with these is the units require a holder which has to purchased separately. Additionally the units do not allow the location to be tracked with other family members. I hope Apple addresses the latter point as soon as possible.

Total waste of money. We have used Tile Trackers since they were released on the market for keys, pets, wallets, purses, backpacks, you name it. they work pretty well except that should the device be out of bluetooth range, you are counting on someone with the Tile app being near it to have it found. We own way too many iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, etc. and were thrilled that Apple released a tracking device. That is, until we bought eight of them. We should have just bought lottery tickets. Would have had a better chance of winning the lotto than finding something with these. How could Apple make a product this bad, when they werent even innovating Literally all they had to do was copy the Tile and then throw their weight of the ubiquity of the iPhone behind it. But no.1. It appears you have to actually pick up the tag and tap it on the phone for it to be found. If I thought people would do that, a simple printed lost label would suffice. So much for any advantage there.2. You cannot share tag between two people so Apples product is useless for tracking devices by multiple people in the house who might need to find an item or a pet who escaped. Tiles can be shared among multiple people in the house, so all if us can find anything3. The volume is much too soft to be audible unless you are right in the same room. At that point the directions to the device finally work the one new feature beyond Tiles but simply being able to hear the device would have worked too and moreover would work from adjacent rooms, which the directions and toosoft AirTag do not until you happen to enter the right room. Apple support confirmed there is no way to make the volume louder4. For it to work, you are required to use twofactor authentication on your phjone. I dont need that for my phone unlike my brokerage account or bank, and Apple has made twofactor a constant annoyance if enabled so I dont want to use it. But unless you turn it on, you cannot add an AirTag.5. Relative to all the above, this is small as it at least has a solution. But it is an extra annoyance that Apple couldnt even include a small loop or hole so it can be attached to your keyring, pet tag, or really anything else without buying a holder which is the same price again or more for each tag and makes the whole thing much bigger and cumbersome on my keysI have never been so disappointed in an Apple product, nor ever so amazed that a new product from a major company that simply needed to copy an existing product to succeed would miss the mark so badly. I WISH I had returned them. They are garbage. I am back to my Tiles which also have replaceable batteries. I just hope they never get out of bluetooth range, or that others keep their Tiles perhaps like me after trying the AirTag so they are still found if they do.

  34. blank

    osbrown

I had higher hopes for this product. Am disappointed that youre only able to connect the Tag to one device why wouldnt you be able to share it with others that you approve. Also dissapointed that you either have to be in direct access to Wifi or the Apple Find My Friends network for this to work. Why couldnt this be GPS driven so it you can find you lost item anywhere

  35. blank

    Eric

Ive used trackers before and gave up on them. Apple has 2 advantages. The AirTag has an easily replaceable battery and the AirTag uses the iPhone network of devices to track. No third party apps required, so much broader reach of nodes that help find your item. I tracked a suitcase cross country and with the exception of when the plane was in the air, I had constant visibility to the location of my bag.

  36. blank

    mattkovo

I bought several of these trackers and put them in pop its and told my kids to keep them on them while we were at Disneyworld. Of course one of them dropped it and was not aware. I was able to track it down a little bitter later halfway around the park. Turns out another kid found it on the ground and was playing with it. Pretty cool adventure playing find and seek with it.

Read the reviews here. They look cookie cutter and bought LOL… Dont waste your money, they are okay for locating things directly in your area. Same room Besides that, the Bluetooth barely connects and you find yourself holding your iPhone to the sky praying for a signal to connect to the Airtag. The Bluetooth capabilities need to be highly upgraded for these to be worth the money. The ARE NOT with this current version. Just buy the cheap tile, works all the same.I cant even connect to my car in an open mall parking lot and I have the darn Tag right on the dashboard. Still doesnt connect until I get right up by my car Yikes

  38. blank

    GameMom

The alert sound from the device is very quiet, I dont believe it would be easily heard in a public place if you are trying to find a lost item such as a purse where the device is inside. The alert also is very short and you need to request the alert multiple times. The obvious annoyance known before I purchased is that you must buy a separate keychain to use this with your keys. There could have easily been a key ring accessible hole on this device. I expected a bit more from Apple.

  39. blank

    Mikey

The tag is small which is nice but it has no connection point. You have to buy the key ring to attach it to anything an that costs as much as the tag. It does not track in real time and is difficult to locate when not within range of you own phone. Really think about what you intend on using it for before you purchase

  40. blank

    Whenry

I bought the airtags because I keep forgetting items I leave behind, however that feature has not been implemented yetuntil now. The next iOS update will add the separation feature.I like the fact the batteries can be changed easily and the ultra wide band tracking is really accurate. Im glad I bought them and Im hoping for more updates in the near future.

Great to use with important items that are set down and forgotten, or while traveling. Scale is close to a bottlecap. The print on each scuffs easily, but a protective sealant might work on the cover when removed. Setup and features require Apple devices with stock nfc connectivity.

These tags work great. Love that they are integrated into the find my builtin app on my iPhone. The only downside, and its no big deal for me, is that it functions only in one direction, in that you cant use the tag to find your phone like Tile does. I subtracted one star because 1 the tags scratch so easily. At some point Ill buy some cool skins for them and 2 because you need to buy a tiny case in order to attach the tags to your keys.

  43. blank

Purchased Air Tags so they would easily sync with our additional Apple mobile products. We travel quite a bit, and are always concerned about luggage being lost or misplaced. Documentation on the Air Tags will be able to show that they can pinpoint location even when traveling in a planes cargo hold, and even on the luggage conveyer. When trying them out around the house or in town, the location were spot on Traveling next week, so will look to see if their documentation holds to real world usage.

I love that the airtag has a little chirp feature, if you are truly looking for your item, then it will send off a little sound that helps you find it. Granted it is not quite as loud as the one on your apple phone, but it is still a great feature. Just remember when you are getting your airtag, set a reminder or calendar event 11 months from your date of purchase so you know when to purchase a replacement battery for your airtag. I didnt realize that was a thing, but if its planned for not really a big deal.

I have always had a tile tracker on my keys. I worked fine and saved me sometimes. The tile was getting old, and died because the battery died. I heard that Apple would release the airtag. I ordered it the day it came out. Best Buy got it to me in 2 days. I love the airtag, it works perfectly and its very loud, for the size.

  46. blank

I used it to look for my car in an opened parking lot, it didnt work. It sent out a broad location that the tracker is in the parking lot. It cant lead you to the car, not to mention using precision finding. I also used it to track my friend for a test, it worked flawlessly. Especially when the tracker is in residential area, it gives you almost an accurate address.

Love the air tags. My real purpose in buying them is to have them in the pockets of my husband and my grandson in case they stray off when we go to Universal Studios. Lost my husband one time there when he took a wrong turn coming back to us. That was scarey. He cant manipulate a smart phone, so using the air tag, if he will just stand still, I can find him. My husband has panic disorder, so getting lost causes him to panic. I have my Air Tag on my keys in my purse. That way, I can find my keys AND my purse.

I have used both a tile sticker and regular tile for years.Batteries needed replaced and decided to try these instead and glad I did.I bought a four pack. Id recomend buying the keytag and there is also a credit card sized piece of plastic that will hold it that is great for a wallet. I bought both off amazon and they work great.I like that the batteries can be replaced without spending money on new tiles.A few reasons for giving this a four instead of five.1. The sound isnt that loud, its much louder on the tile.2. You cant ping your iphone from it like you can a tile. If I misplaced my phone with a tile all I had to do was push the button on the tile and it woudl ring my phone. If you arent near your computer, that would be a nice feature to have.3. I wish the exact location with turn by turn directions would work with all iphones. I have an Iphone XS and there is no reason apple couldnt have made it to work with that new of a phone, its a gimmick to get you to upgrade.I also wish there was an app. You have to go to the findmy devices app and it would be great to have an app that would detail all your tags and allow you to change the name of the devices if you wanted.

So far, so good. Very easy setup. I havent used it for any specific reason, mainly bought it out of curiosity until I do some traveling. I love the fact you can replace the battery unlike the competing brand which I once owned but tossed because I had to buy another one.

Not impressed The Tile is louder and can help you find your phone like a reverse find. You really need an iPhone 11 or 12 to get the precise location helper to work. Picking up my wifes AirTag when she put it in lost mode to test what happens if I happened to have found someone elses, I had to take the Apple silicon case off my iPhone 11 Pro to get the NFC to work something I dont have to do when checking out at a store.

These came in fast and well packed. They work well with my iPhone SE, super easy to pair and do the job. While testing them at home, it was so accurate that it would find them in different rooms within the house, but when testing it out of the house, it would show the last known location and sometimes that was 10 minutes ago.We were hoping to have it on our dog but when testing it while out on a walk, if he were to get out, it may not be as helpful as we thought it would be.We did another test when the kids went out for a run with their coaches cellphones are not allowed while running so only the coaches have phones on them and the same thing happened, it would track them on and off and my phone would show me their last known location not in real time. If youre tracking a person, definitely the find my iPhone feature is better.Bottom line, they work well and Best Buy was easy to buy from, I would recommend them if you understand that theyre not tracking in realtime when out of range from your phone.

This is a good item tracker for iPhone users. The setup and pairing it to your iPhone is very easy. Its great that it has a replaceable battery.I like that unpairing it from your iCloud is a breeze. This is really nice if youre ever planning on passing down your AirTag to someone else.I do wish the pinging sound was louder though. Also, keep in mind covering the white plastic side muffles the sound.I wish Apple would expand the features and capabilities, like notifying you when your AirTag is separated from your iPhone after a certain period of time.

I absolutely think its worth every penny. I am getting pretty deep in the Apple ecosystem and this makes everything just seem so seemless and I dont feel like I even need to keep track of my keys cause I simply ask Siri where are my keys and the sound plays. It feels solid and that it wont break ever. Great product for many different products.

Im loving the AirTags. I buy most if not all Apple products and with the pandemic, I didnt feel a need to purchase this because I rarely go anywhere. I ended up biting the bullet to buy one for a camera bag I have really expensive stuff in there. After seeing the ease of use I brought two more for my vehicle keys and added the key ring case. Needless to say, Apple made something I didnt know I need. I wish I was able to get the four pack instead but

A convenient way to extend my Find My network capabilities beyond Apple items. Easy to set up and use. A timesaver for someone like me, who seems to spend a lot of time looking for misplaced items. Great for keys, purse, jackets, anything I have been known to misplace purchased various loops and vaults to affix them. Havent had these long, but so far theyve been quite useful, and the Apple products Ive used over the years have been exceptionally durable, so I am confident these will be with me for a while.

I wanted to replace a worn out Tile and decided this was the best device to use with my Apple devices. I did have difficulty pairing it with my phone, and considered exchanging it, however the local Best Buy was out of stock. After some time searching YouTubeGoogle for the issue i was having and how to reset it, i was able to do so and pair with my phone. Now when I misplace my keys i can find them with the Find My app. I also like that it has a CR2032 battery, which when the time comes to replace it, it will be cheap and easy to find. Also, there are many after market key fobs for this item, so its unnecessary to buy an Apple branded one.

I did used to have tiles but upgraded to Airtags. For someone who is constantly leaving or putting down badges and keys this is a lifesaver. Not only does it make a noise when you search for it, it also gives you the direction of the Airtag and distance on tracking it down. Ingenious

I like these little guys. I have one set up for my keys, another for my backpack, and for my wifes items as well. It works seamlessly with Apple Find my App. I think the accessories for it are too expensive, but the device itself works as it should. I love the audio chime that it makes when youre looking for your advice. The four pack is the best buy.

Amazing device A 25 reliable and resilient tracking device that has a user friendly app on the Apple iOS. What a revolutionary piece of technology Solid construction, very accurate location. it does what it says it does. very easy to setup due to the apple ecosystem and makes a ringing sound when pinged from the phone to help find your missing item. considering it is similar in price to non apple alternatives, if you have an iphone this is the way to go for sure.only thing to keep in mind is that the proximity feature only works with iphone 11. i didnt know that at the time of purchase but still satisfied.

Love this. Has already come in handy to locate misplaced keys.Having been a Tile user for years, I can say Air Tags are hands down better as far as range, being able to pinpoint the misplaced item. The integration with the whole FindMy app is cool. I even use one on by dog. I had try using a Tile, but hed get it wet in his water bowl and it would fail. Hes been using the Air Tag for weeks, dips it in his bowl, and still works perfectly.

Love it Great size, great features and looks good on my keys. The speaker is good, the tracking is as advertised, and everyone I show it to cant believe it and wants one.ONLY thing I will say is it scratches easily. Honestly i thought these were kind of a gimmick considering i already had a tile and that worked well enough but these really do prove that theyre worth the money. It shows you an exact location of where the airtag is and how close it is. With my little one about to start riding the bus it seemed crazy to me to buy her a cellphone at such a young age but i can just pop this on her backpack and know where she is

AirTags might not be the most exciting product Apple has released this year or any year but around my house theyre already one of the most useful. With 6 people 4 kids under one roof and a hectic lifestyle, things get lost no matter how hard you try to avoid it. Within day one wed already retrieved a set of lost keys using an AirTag thats probably a half hour or more of frustration saved. The ONLY reason Im giving them 4 stars is because youre nearly forced to buy a keyring or similar item to attach them to objects you cant afford to lose…and theyre EXTREMELY scratch prone in pockets.

  72. blank

    NBReviewer

So far this has delivered. I placed them on items I would like to keep track and the Find My app worked perfect with it. Obviously this integrates very well with the iPhone ecosystem. Just wished it came with a case as it can easily scratch. I like the fact that you can change the battery yourself when it runs out of power.

I ordered this Air Tag for my Puppy, AKA Houdini because of his magic disappearance and I absolutely love it I feel more secure with it and its obviously cheaper than a dog tracker. The only down thing is that youd need to buy a holder separately. I regret not buying more AirTags as a bundle. They were easy to link to the phone as well. I immediately recommended it those family members who had dogs and they purchased AirTags already

The Airtag is just like any other piece of art like the rest. The unboxing is always nice and exiting. An elegant yet minimalistic. The downside is that si cannot ring to find my iPhone like the Tile. A hole would have been nice. Since I am in the Apple echo system, I suppose it would work better with the rest. I am keeping both Airtag and Tile.

  75. blank

The AirTag is excellent product by Apple. However, using Find My iPhone is falls short. Unlike iPhones the Air Tag CANNOT be shared with other users. This makes it use limited. Have brough my issue to Apple and hopefully they will correct the problem.

  76. blank

An excellent and very effective product, far more useful than the Tile trackers the AirTags replaced. Onestar deduction for the difficulty and cost of attaching these to anything. Instead of a small mounting hole in the unit, or some kind of adhesive, you must buy a strap or similar mounting device which can cost as much or more than the AirTag itself.

These are more of a insurance policy than anything else for lost stuff. Quality and battery replacement is fine. Have not had to replace battery, but opened up just to see how hard it was, and its not. Tested and pretty easy to use when finding your AirTag. Four pack is definitely the better deal if youre getting multiple or for a family.

  78. blank

I particularly wanted the four pack. So many of your shelves barely have product on them. Im sure its partly a supply chain issue, but online is winning every time. I also didnt know that these would require a battery change every year. Regular battery, easy video. Just be aware.

If you worry about losing stuff a lot then AirTags are for you. I recently went on a few flights and threw one in my checkedin bag. Using the Find My app, I was able to check and see that my luggage also arrived at the same airport with me. What makes AirTags advantageous over something like Tile is that it uses every iPhone out there to ping and update its location, whereas Tile needs other Tile users to do so. Id recommend the 4pack over the single as you can save a bit of money on each individual one and be able to give some to family.

  80. blank

So one of the most valid criticisms about apple products is that you cant easily replace the battery but that isnt the case with these. They pop open and use a standard battery you can find at most stores.Additionally they work as well if not better than Tile who is the leading brand for this type of product. The official cases do add to the cost but you may not need one for everything you want to airtag there are always tons of apple accessories from other companies.

So easy to set up, same process as setting up air pods, its automatic. Four pack is way to go value wise. I have one on my car keys, one on my work keys, one tucked away inside my wallet front pocket wallet and one in my glove box. Ive had to use the one in my glove box multiple times, I always forget where I park at when out shopping, these make it so easy to precisely locate your vehicle within a foot of you. I dont even pay attention anymore when I park, I just fire up the find my phone app and find my car. The only con is the one on my work keys for some reason kept trying to connect to my co workers iPhones if they had them unlocked by me. It since stopped but lasted a few days….

OK lets sum up the things that make it a great investment Easy to set up within less than a minute using an iPhone or an iPad. The incredibly wide net of Apple devices makes it very certain to find. The battery is replaceable, so it may last long enough till a next technology will emerge.Whats not so good about it Not sticking nor attaching without accessories. The accessories by apple are pricey.

Got Apple AirTags for my cat and dog. Although it only has about 33ft reach to detect items, I like having the peace of mind that if any of my animals, particularly my cat, quickly gets outside and out of sight, I can quickly relocate her. The tags are also small and lightweight that both my animals dont mind having them on their collar.

Was unsure going in with the purchase, I know apple usually makes over priced accessory products to make money. On this one I have to admit they did a very good job. I had my tag attached to a set of keys that ended up getting stolen and i was able to accurately track the man who had them down. Crazy part is the man didnt even have an iphone and the tag was able to use those around to ping pretty accurate locations. Tracking down and item an hour away is very impressive and i give this product a 9.510. Does scratch kinda easy but does its job well.

If you tend to misplace your purse, briefcase, keys, or if youre worried about your camera bag walking away these might help. Find thirdparty solutions to attaching them to your items Apple charges too much for that. Works better with newer iPhones but any iPhone running iOS 14.6 will work.

It works You can track easily and effortlessly. It will tell you if its on another level and let you know on your iphone what direction and distance to it. The iphone screen turns green when found. It also tells another iphone user when the tag js with the person and it sends a notification about the tag to the iphone nearby.I forgot to remove the air tag from my wifes car keys and she didnt know about it. She asked me when she came home that she is getting a notification about a certain air tag. lol

I bought the apple air tag for a trip to Disney World with my special needs toddle. I attached it to the tie of his shorts, and stuck it in his pocket. Thank goodness I didnt need to use it, but just having that peace of mind that I could locate him if he was lost was enough. My older child likes to ride his bike around the block. He takes it with him, just incase.

  89. blank

    QDocta

The range on this when nearby is disappointing. You have to be very close to the airtag for it to show the arrow indicating which direction it is in. Otherwise, the tracking on this is good. It would have been nice if it gave updates on its location more frequently but that would probably shorten the battery life.

I have been a long time Tile user, I took a gamble given my Apple ecosystem. I honestly think that the U1 Chip and utilisation of Bluetooth and UWB for more precise directions is a great feature. Easy to use and setup on iPhone. Downside is the range is not as good and not easy to put in a wallet. Hoping Apple will soon allow for notifications when you leave your belongings somewhere, like Tile.

  91. blank

    Stephen

Setup couldnt be simpler you just place the AirTag next to your iPhone, pull off the plastic strip that activates the AirTags battery, and within seconds the iPhone recognizes the AirTag and starts tracking it. If you do use your iPhone to command the AirTag to play a sound, the result is surprisingly loud and strident for such a small device, not much chance of missing that sound

  92. blank

    TroyD

Apples newest product to market doesnt disappoint. The connection to the iPhone was simple and easy. The precision with how it locates items and awesome. Aftermarket cases doesnt fit too good. As always Apple has the best quality of any electronics they manufacture. These Apple Air Tags works great and seamlessly syncs to my Apple iPhone 11. Ive had a few days to test the AirTags and I must say that the pairing was very easy as is with all apple products and so was using them to track items. I gave 3 of them to my parents who often misplace their keys and they are in love with how easy it is to find them before they head out the door. They are probably overly reliant on the technology now as it seems they dont bother trying the oldfashioned way, memory.

Work really well. Ive been using Tiles for years and have quite a few but will be making the switch. Airtag just worked and its accuracy in helping me track down an item with directions was impressive. Most recently I was shooting a wedding and had left my laptop bag somewhere but didnt realize it until 5 hours later. I looked in find my and someone had been at the house where Id left it, 2 hours after Id left it there and it recorded the last seen time time and location. It just worked.

This little tag does exactly what it claims and it does it way better than all the other brands and tiles that have been around for years. Everything else is mainly just reliant on Bluetooth connections so once its like 50 feet away, its gone. Thats not the case with these airbags and I especially love how they are able to play a quite loud sound from such a tiny device.

Another awesome product from Apple that just works with no fuse, no hassle nothing app you have to make sure your running in the background. It is slightly too bulky for a wallet but not by much. I am mildly concerned about it falling out of any accessory its placed in that is needed to add the missing keyring attachment

I really like it. Only downsides of it are sound could be a bit higher and precious find option is only in iPhone 11 or higher models. What are the apples more sound products,I dont really have anything too bad to say about these. They are by far the best GPS tracking device on the market. My one complaint would be that the when youre trying to locate that device the sound could be a little louder and play a little longer

Quick and easy setup per usual for Apple. However, be aware that even if you are on a family plan and share your location with that group, only one Apple ID is allowed per air tag. So, for example two parents using two different Apple IDs would not both be able to monitor an air tag on their childs bike. This is the biggest downside especially if need to keep track of a shared item.

My wife is constantly misplacing her keys in our house. And if Im being honest, I do it occasionally myself. So when I heard about these, I read reviews about what they do and how well they work. While Tile does have its perks over AirTags, these are integrated quite well into the Apple ecosystem. The volume could be louder when attempting to locate the lost content, and the ability to secure it to a keychain does require an additional keychain purchase. In all, v1 of this product lineup is good, but certainly has room for improvements.

The Air Tag is as bit as good as advertised. It was easy to set up and use with my phoneiPad. We use it for our keys. If youre like me, I occasionally put my keys down and forget where I laid them. Being able to use a ping to locate them in the house is very beneficial. Ive read about some problem of the tag being easy to scratch. I keep mine in my pants pocket or wear it on my belt loop. No scratches yet. Great for knowing roughly where you left your items. But you need to be almost on top of the item before the precision finding feature kicks in. You send up wandering around your house holding your phone like a list puppy. Perhaps this will be fixed in a future update of the app. I hope so.

Excellent tracking device. I like that it is so integrated with my Apple ecosystem. My only quibble is that you must purchase a holder of some sort to use it effectively. Apple should include some rudimentary accessory to allow it to be attachable to objects.

So far so good. I mainly got one for now just for my wallet because it fell out of my pocket twice the last 6 months. Thankfully both times someone found it and returned it. 1st time it happened it fell out of my pocket at work in the bathroom. I bought this on May 6th, 2021 and had a hard time getting it to pair to my phone. Once I did it was ok for about 3 days and then acted like it was never paired to my phone. Reset it and repaired it to my phone. Again after a few days same issue, except this time it took multiple times resetting it and attempts to pair before it would work. Happened again, replaced the battery, same issue and now telling me to make sure my Bluetooth was on and in range. Contacted Apple and went through their troubleshooting with them and was told Id need to bring it in or send it in for repair. Ok I understand its inexpensive and all, but the repair charge is darn near the cost of just getting a new one. This is after owning it for six weeks June 18, 2021. So not impressed.

We thought these would be great to tuck into bags of tools, attach to the lawnmower, ladders and even in our car glove box to track these items if they are stolen since we live in a high crime area. Nope, total waste of money. Thanks to their ill conceived no stalking feature, if these arent near the iphone that set them up they start chirping and keep chirping until the battery goes dead. So they are only useful for things that you have close to your iphone at all times. We ordered several sets but after trying out the one, we are talking all the rest back. Waste of money.

I Put 1 tag in her wallet and hid it. showed here how to access the Items in Find MY and she was able to find her wallet with ease. and it was fun. I think ill hide her stuff just so she can use the app….Its a little thick but ill take that because I can change the battery myself. I was able to remove the device from 1 iCloud account and sync it to another with ease. just follow the instructions httpswww.macrumors.comhowtoresetairtagTip when Factory defaulting the Tag, have a small piece of plastic to put between the battery and the connector in the tag. leave enough for you to pull when your done putting on the Silver Plate. this will make it easy to store or get the next device ready for setup with having to rush.Only thing I dont like is the cost of the Tag Holders. I have set up 2 out of the 4 AirTags that come in the packaging. Easy to open. Super easy to pair Unwrap and pull the plastic tabs and they turn on automatically and are easily found by your iPhone The device its self is simple enough. A white plastic and metal plastic puck about the size of a quarter. Using the Find My app under the items tab theyre listed there. I have a an iPhone XS Max and my wife has the iPhone 12 Pro. With the 12 Pro and 11 it has the hyper directional functionality and with my iPhone XS it wont because it doesnt have the U1 chip. My wife and I split this pack so we each have 1 on our keys using the 1st party Apple Key Fobs and we still have 1 each were trying to decide where to put the other. Car, purse, wallet, diaper bag, work bag, etc. Looking forward to all the 3rd party keyrings attachment pieces. This remarkable invention from the folks at Apple is a relatively inexpensive security enhancement. In my case, I worry more about theft than misplacing an item. This is especially true around airports and other times when Im out shooting.I simply hide a tag in my camera bag in the event someone mistakenly grabs my bag. While this solution may not be foolproof, I fell better with the device than without it.I highly recommend this product.

This little device is pretty cool. You can attach it to a key ring specifically designed to hold the air tagsold separately. You can also slide it into a wallet, however it is the thickness of about 3 Quarters coins and if your wallet can sustain that, then you can use it for that I have used it to attach to my Apple Remote using Velcro however I dont know if thats a permanent solution.

These AirTags have Apples usually sleek appearance and solid construction. They have a much better connection for location than my Tile devices. However, they have one MAJOR flaw. They cant be shared with family. I can share my iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Apple Watch and even my AirPods with my family, but not the AirTags. Apple claims this is for security purposes. It is to keep people from being stalked Seriously I mean, I have my watch and iPhone with me much more often than my keys or Apple TV remote. So when my wifes at work and my kids loose the Apple TV remote….sorry, honey, you cant watch TV until I get home because the AirTag is connected to my phone Or when my wife takes my truck to the store and cant find the keys to come home….guess Ill have to drive up to the store to find them because the AirTag is attached to my iPhone. Which is ok, because I know exactly where she parked because I can track her iPhone. Now Apple is adding Separation Alerts before family sharing Come on Apple You seriously dropped the ball on what could be a great product. I will be happy to update to 5 stars once you add family sharing. Otherwise, I think Ill be returning them and sticking with Tile.

So far, so good. Setup was easy and a integrates well into iOS. The downside is that these dont come with any holder. Its just a disc with no way to attach it on its own no loop or other means. Apple forces you to buy their really expensive accessories or you can go to Amazon and find cheaper thirdparty options. It would have been nice if Apple had simply molded a ring into the plastic so we could attach it to a keychain. Greed seems to have prevented that.

This was purchased as a gift. I have no information on the product itself. The online purchase itself was easy. The packaging needs improvement. It was in a bubble wrap envelope which came damaged. Product looks to be ok. The intended recipient is out of town and wont be receiving the gift until later in the month.

This apple airtag replaced my tile almost immediately. It works off of apples ecosystem. If you lose your keys or anything else attached to this airtag, it will trigger an alert if anyone walks by with an iPhone or any apple product with cellular coverage. Super cool features, apple premium feel and look Couldnt ask for more Buy it youll love it.

Lost my last set of airpods as you cannot find them if theyre not connected, and they do not play a sound unless out of the charge case. The answer Buy an airtag from JLP and a cheap silicone case of another on line marketplace, attach both together, and you can find your airpods or anything else the airtag is connected to easily in the Apple find my app.Ive had a competitor product in the past, but this is great as 1. You can change the battery when its dead, 2. It works with your existing app 3. It plays a sound so you can find the darn thing youve lostWill get some more for family family as Im not the only one who seems to misplace things. Not sure it helps with losing my memory though

READ THIS IF YOU ARE TRACKING YOUR PET. YOU CANNOT TRACK THIS WITH MORE THAN ONE PERSON AT THE SAME TIME. My wife and I use Tiles to track our pets, we put them on their collars. With Tile, we can both track them. Even our house sitter tracks them with his phone when we are gone. But Apple does not allow this, which makes NO SENSE. I called Apple support and they specifically told me Airtags cannot do this. Totally useless. Returned.

If you have had tile products in the past I promise you that this is much better I think Its funny how Tile is complaining about Apple getting into this line of technology. Tile is only had 5 to 10 years to make their products better and they havent. This is payback for me buying a tile that you could not replace the battery in.

Not accurate. Takes some time to locate and also stays stuck for over an hour at last location. Example, Had it on my keys and my husband had them in his car. He drove to a couple different cities and when he returned home it showed for over an hour that my keys were still stuck somewhere 20miles away on the freeway somewhere but they were back at home with me.

APPLE AIRTAGS VS TILE1. The U1 Chip enabled iPhones make finding these little guys a snap. So no more having to ring the device to find the lost item.2. No accidental rings when the airtag presses against you.3. Battery indicator on the FIND MY app.4, Replaceable batter on the Airtags On par with tileIn other words, if you lose your stuff a lot, slap an airtag on it.

Been using the airtags for almost 2 weeks and they seems to work really well. I was not a tile user so I cannot compare but I have put airtags in my backpack and on my keychain and have been able to locate the items. I do have an iPhone 12 so when in range I get a gps like experience to find the item. The range for this really depends on whats around it. Outside it can go pretty far, over 30 feet. Inside different obstacles can reduce this. I think what makes these a good lost item finder is just the amount of iOS devices out there and theres a good chance the airtag will get in range of one.

Love that it pairs instantly with my phone and find my app.Using it for my nee kitten ans bought a cat collar to hold it .My only suggestion is that apple make a smaller one doe small pets ans wallets . This is the size of a quarter which is large . A dime size option would be perfect .

This Apple air tag is small. Its the size of a quarter. It connects to your Bluetooth on your Apple phone. You can name what your Apple air tag is for when you connect it. Its very cool. The only thing I wish it could do is adjust the volume so it can be louder. If you was to have it in your purse or in your jacket pocket it will be hard to hear the sound go off.

Perfect addon in so many ways. I got two of these now one for my camera backpack in case it ever is stolen at a job and one for my dogs collar to help track him down if he ever gets lost. The tracking is spot on. I have tried all of the different style trackers and Apple has the best. Thanks to it pinging off of random iOS devices around it makes tracking down your stuff almost flawless. Worth picking up more for sure.

I feel sorry for Tile, but I put them aside for these. Tile cannot compete with Apples ecosystem and reach. With Tile you were limited to Tile subscribers being near your device so you can find it and Tile had to be running on their phone, which Apple iPhones would constantly shut that app down, With Apple, you need someone with any Apple device to be near your Airtag to find it much, much more likely. My only 2 concernsgripes are1. They could have easily added a notch to the design so I could put a keychain on it. Now I have to buy a holder separately dont waste your money with the Apple ones, go to Amazon and get them dirt cheap.2. Tile has a button that I can use to find my phone with it, the Apple AirTags do not.

Excellent product Only gripe is it scratches and gets dirty easily but to be expected when I leave it in my pocket with keys so often and I didnt protect it. Functionalitywise it works great, when in range it directs you to it without even needing to play a sound. But if lost in couch or something, you know where about it is, you can set the ringer off and easily locate the item.

These things are great. They work in a house. The sound they make is audible in a big room and even under a pillow if you are close by. It also has a leading arrow when you are with 15 feet or so that is super accurate. If you have a multi story house it will help you figure out which floor your item is on by telling you if it is above or below you.

Apple is good for making devices that are just that, good. This deviceaccessory is no different. It works as expected. I think it should have come with an accessories to attach it to the key ring. How do you make a product but the accessories for it cost more than the product. Objective to help catch a runaway cat. Auxiliary catch if she gets lost or runs away in an unfamiliar place.Expectations Look at the map in the browser where the cat is about. Go there. Turn on sound. Hear where. See the cat. Catch. Take home.Reality its different. Look on the iPad where the cat is about, find out was right next to the tablet 20 minutes ago. Walk around the house through her favorite bushes, 2030 meters of direct visibility through the bushes is enough, you dont need to climb into the bushes. In the farthest place, see on the tablet the cat is here again. Turn on sound. Hear where. Understand that this is five meters for a cat and four hundred for me, because of a fence. See a cat frightened by the loud sound. See her running home. Turn off the sound, because you do not need to frighten her further. In the idea of the authors, I must also see the direction to the cat. But for this, you need to have the latest versions of the iPhone iPad, which I do not have and do not planning. As it turned out, in order for other peoples iPhones to be useful, they need to update the firmware, and, preferably, the iPhones must also be new. Also, the gadget itself sends a signal every few minutes. So the favorite places need to be bypassed slowly. Conclusion Airtag is a solution for finding a catkidbikekeys, but I expected more. Some of the problems will be solved with a massive upgrade to new iPhones.

Its a glorified white and silver Tile but missing a few features including the built in key ring. The AirTag itself is well made and the edges are smooth and rounded. The battery is user replaceable and just takes a button cell. The speaker is loud and the entire thing isnt much larger then your average coin. The finish on the back of the AirTag is so pure that scratches will appear and easily. Metal objects can also scratch the AirTags white plastic. You also have to have an iPhone 11 or newer to use the Find feature.

Good small tracking device for many different items that you might want to keep an account of. There are several third party products that you can use to customize the way you want to carry this. Having a replaceable battery is a plus, especially with Apple products, saves a trip to the Apple store and paying overpriced costs for replacement. Ive read of security vulnerabilities with this product, but in Apple fashion those should be addressed.

This product works exactly as it advertises. I bought three AirTags for my wallet, car keys and house keys since I often misplace these items. I initially thought about buying the Tiles, but then I saw that Apple came up with their own version and I knew I just had to get them.It is very easy to set up and to use. They are a little bulkier than I would have liked, but I love that I can attach them to keys, bags, luggage, or any item I dont want to lose. Keep in mind that it DOES NOT come with the key chain holders.Since I bought them, Ive already used them a couple of times to locate my keys. I love that it has the same GPS tracking featured on iPhones in the event you lose your items while running errands or traveling. I usually just use the Play Sound function to find my items since I usually lose my items in my house. It has precise tracking where it can lead you straight to your item, but Im not able to use that feature since it is only compatible for the newer iPhones such as 11 and above. If you tend to lose important items and love Apple products, I highly recommend these. It remains to be seen if these will last a long time while being attached to my keys, but I look forward to seeing if they last.

What I didnt know is that the AirPod syncs automatically with everyones iPhone, even a strangers iPhone. I literally watched my checked bag move through the airport from the plane to luggage claim. After some research, I watched a video on YouTube that showed how the airtag connects with the Apple ecosystem through a mesh style network. So, as your bag ew an airtag passes by someone with an iPhone, that iPhone will ping the airtag and then provide you with tracking info on the Find My app. The strangers iPhone would have to have their Bluetooth enabled, but who doesnt use Bluetooth these days. Very impressed with this little gem. I will likely buy a couple more. I also like that it is ew a standard button cell battery that is field replaceable. I have not tried that yet, but from what I have seen on YouTube it is not hard to do.

As someone who is usually a first adopter for Apple products I was definitely underwhelmed with this first version of the AirTag. At first out of the box it worked as advertised upon syncing, but then the next week it no longer continued to work as well. I had hoped to use this on my dogs collar to ensure she stayed in the yard when outside, but after that first day every time I opened the app it just stated Connected. Signal is weak. Try moving to a different location. to which moving did not assist in the issue. I attempted this over the course of two weeks with it working maybe 5 of the time to which I then had my wife sync the AirTag to her account and she received the same result each time over the course of a week as I did. After a month of trying and numerous troubleshooting I opted to just return the product and hope that the next version will work better.

I left air tag in my car and forgot exactly where I parked no problem right I knew I was parked with in a row or two of where I was but air tag kept saying it was right next to me. As frequent travelers, we have relied on Tile devices for years to track our luggage and even to aid carriers with lost bags. We were always let down when the unreplaceable batteries wore down, plot twist, it was ALWAYS on the 1 year anniversary of its activation, forcing us to replace them. Their location visibility was sometimes sketchy at best. ENTER APPLE AIRTAG First off, theyre super affordable, the battery can be replaced and its a very common one, and the location visibility is exactly what you would expect from an Apple product We can see exactly what part of the house its in I cant express enough how thrilled we are with the Airtags we have 8 now, with three of them on our pets collars, yes, if a pet gets loose, well know EXACTLY where to look

The product is great, but there is no real way to protect the metallic side from scratches. Most cases dont cover that part and shields are only available through Amazon at this time. Apple shouldve have partnered with third party companies and better prepared for this product in try sense of protection considering its intended use. Otherwise, the functionality is awesome and set up is seamless as you can expect from most Apple products.

Ive had other tag devices such as Tiles. AirTags are very well integrated into the Apple ecosystem. Setup is dead simple and they just work. What makes this even better than Tile is that you can change the battery with common coincell batteries and they last a year. You cant change Tile batteries. If you have an iPhone and lose your keys or need to track something, get these.

The AirTags works well with newer iPhones. Precision location feature in the Find My app is very useful, however it only works with iPhone 11 or newer. The volume of the sound played from the AirTag should have been much louder, as it can be difficult to hear at times, and there is no way to increase it.The sound played from the Tile is louder and you have the added functionality of being able to play a sound on your lost phone by pressing the button on the Tile which the AirTag doesnt have.

Apple has done it again. I upgraded from using Tile locators and AirTags are a HUGE step up. Some of the previous reviews dont correctly discuss why the AirTags are so amazing. Other locators like Tile only work well when there are other Tile devices close by. With almost everyone having an iPhone or apple product it makes locating your items super accurate and easy. The AirTags use a special Bluetooth network that can connect to any Apple product its close to which helps you locate your item quickly. I started using these for basic things like my keys and wallet, but have since been using them for bigger things like leaving one in my car and making it super easy to find my vehicle after a long day at a theme park. For the price and the ability to replace the battery yourself this product is worth its weight in gold.

For someone who loses his stuff often, these are game changers. One tap and you can hear an audible noise. Or, you can use your iPhone 11 or newer to play a game of hot or cold where it precisely gives you directions, up to a certain amount of feet. Because of their small size, you can place them almost anywhere the accessory market is booming, so dont be scared if the firstparty options seem a little pricey. With advanced tracking capabilities and a large network thanks to Find My, these are the perfect companion for anyone in the Apple ecosystem of devices.

Not loud enough sound, therefore makes the Precision Find feature very important, which is only available on IPhone 11 above. If you dont have this level phone, then Tile is the better bet. Also, one time, It fell out of the silicon holder. At the time of purchase, the Apple Belkin holder was not available. Cant share location of tags with others like you can with the IPhone

The tags are small and shiny, and super simple to connect to a phone, but the second my wife said how do I find the keys that we were considering putting them on, everything fell apart. For some reason these are designed for single people who dont have shared assets. Pros Its a great bit of kit that if youre like me with a devastatingly poor memory this is a life saver. The important thing to remember is that this is not a gps tracker and needs to be in proximity to other apple devices to send positional data.Cons Would be good is it was 10 cheaper as I currently have 4 but could do with a few more.

Happy to come across an Apple product that wont burn a hole in your pocket. Bought it just out of curiosity, havent been able to test it yet. But whenever I have opened the Find My app, it was super quick to find my Air Tag without any delay. In terms of design and construction, I wish Apple wouldnt have gone for such a shiny metal cap which is super prone to scratches. For a tracker that usually lies in the deepest pockets of your bag, Apple should have considered a more rugged design and provided a hole at least to insert a lanyard or ring of some kind to secure it

I cant say enough about my air tags. So much better than the competition. But thats what Apple is known for. They let their competition work out all the issues and then they come out with something that is so amazing. Having an iPhone 12 Pro Max has been amazing with these. ill be honest… I was super excited to get these in the mail, and I certainly wasnt disappointed when I opened the package. they r super easy to install… u just hold it next to ur iPhone and than u label it.. easy enough. I then put it about 30 feet away and tracked it. I than gave it to a worker and told him to place it somewhere in the restaurant that we work at. it was more than 30 feet away so it kept asking me to move around until I was within that amount of feet. I will admit that it did take some spinning around, but within 2 minutes I had found it. the closer u get to it, the harder ur phone starts vibrating. I did try putting it in 3 bays down from my business bc I knew the owner had an iPhone. I turned on lost mode and I seemed to be disappointed with the product. operators error though. I wasnt looking in the right place for the information I needed which I didnt know until I got home last night and tried it with my MacBook Pro.. I turned on my computer and left my air tag a couple of feet away. I then went outside and walked down the street past 2 houses. I then turned on lost mode and found the correct area I was supposed to be looking for the info. it said my air tag was within a range of addresses. now I knew where it was so I knew which address it was in so it made it easy. I did move the air tag 19 feet away from my MacBook Pro and it still was able to ping my air tag. im not sure how much farther I could have gone bc my tape measure isnt long enough to try a larger space. all and all its a pretty nifty device. it is bigger than a quarter and it is shaped like a really large button. I will say that it scratches super easily. the silver side was in my pocket with my iPhone 12 which has the clear MagSafe case on it, and it is now completely scratched. it doest effect the air tag, but it just looks ugly now. I should have put some packing tape on it when it arrived, but who new a plastic case would scratch it

It is alright for me. I can use the Find My iPhone app and it shows it on the map. Been having issues not being able to find unless its within wifi range. The noise it makes to locate it pretty faint. I have to make sure no other noise is on in the house at all and hopefully its not under a blanket or anything else.

Pros Amazing tracker with support of apples find my network so no cellular plan is needed as it just piggybacks of other iPhone users connection without them knowing to update its location all securely encrypted, also its speaker is the whole back metal part of the airtag which vibrates to create the sound you hear, it is very unique and well designedCons Just Beware that your phone must be an iPhone 11, or iPhone 12 or newer to use all of the features the airtag offers as even the new iPhone SE cannot use the Precision finding, the experience not on one of these newer devices is amazing but I wish they mention it a bit clearer about the lack of certain functions as I know many people who didnt understand. Anyway, it is a well designed product with amazing integration into the apple ecosystem

Great if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Not useable if youre not. The issue I have is the design. They are a bit thick. Not ideal to put into a thin wallet. Ive had the battery cover pop out when using in my wallet and in the back pocket. Also youre forced to buy accessories as they have no hole or ability to latch it onto a keyring without. For those that like to keep pristine Apple gear youll have to get a skin or case as the stainless steel scratches easily. Its just the nature of the material. They have user replaceable batteries which is great, considering Apple rarely if ever has this option on their devices. Its pretty loud for such a small device and Im easily able to locate my keys or wallet. What it is not is a real time tracking device. It wont send constant updates even if near an idevice but will give you a good idea of location even if outside Bluetooth range.Tile has many different form factors for different applications and works well on any device. That is Tiles advantage. The price point is good, however the caveat is you are required to buy accessories.

The air tag is simple to use and all you got to do is remove the strip that blocks the battery from activating the tag. After that, itll pop up on your iPhone like when pairing AirPods which you register and name so then, you place it on whatever you need to track. In my case, I placed it inside my car so I never struggle to find where my car was last parked since I share it with my parents plus its quite helpful in huge parking lots. Just open your Find My app and voila, it shows an almost precise location of the area your AirTag is in.

Easy to set up and works great. Very precise in the actual location. Location take a few minutes to update sometimes, but thats normal. Read about how location works with the Air Tag and it makes sense why it takes a little extra time to current location. Very happy with purchase.

Although it was advertised how simple it was to connect these AirTags to your iPhone, that wasnt the case for me. It took over 25 attempts for my phone to connect to it. Not exaggerating. Called apple support and they werent really able to come up with a solution to this. Out of nowhere, my latest attempt finally connected and it does work great. Tried it out and it works exactly like it is designed to do. I am sure that this issue is not common, but it does make me feel hesitant to get more of these if I am to experience the same connection issues.

these are great starter items but come one, the accessories cost more than the items themselves. we can get bulk discount for buying more than 1 airtag, but no discounts and the loops. just greed at this finest. I love apple products but until they provide a better option or at least include the loop, seems like a waste for now.

Though I miss the simplicity of a Tile tracker, the AirTag network is way more extensive. Unfortunately, the AirTag lacks a builtin way to connect a key ring, making it necessary to purchase a separate accessory to enable it to be connected to keys. How very Apple of them. The good thing is there are plenty of third party accessories that work with it.The sound the tag plays could stand to be much louder, and doesnt always play reliably. But the Find My Tracking system works very well. I am very happy with them, but look forward to future improvements.

Have been waiting for these for a while. Have been a longtime customer of tile but every time I actually needed to use them the batteries were always dead and they did me no good. In typical Apple fashion, they werent the first to come out with these but they took the time to get it right Once your item is lost you can play a sound of course but what takes these to the next level is the screen on find my iPhone that shows an arrow, with the distance, directing you to the item. The build quality is top notch of course and I paired it with the official Apple leather key chain.
