I recently decided to upgrade from the S4 and Im glad I did. This phone is full of features I didnt know I needed. The fingerprint detection is pretty slick. When used in conjunction with Samsung Pay is very impressive and useful if inclined. The picture quality of the screen is top notch. The camera takes great video and photos. Fast processor makes for no lag when using any apps or switching between programs. The waterproof aspect is a nice bonus but with that Im not fond of having a fixed battery. Other Galaxy models you could buy an extra battery or replace existing battery without having to have entire phone replaced. So far so good though on the current S7 battery. It does hold a charge all day with moderate useage and GPS, Bluetooth and all services running. Ill definitely trade the new waterproofing over a removable battery any day. The music player is functional and well laid out in true Samsung fashion as are all the programs. If youre not a tinkerer the layout out of the box functions great. If youre the type who wants to customize everything from wallpapers to settings to ring tones youll have fun for days setting it up. Dual network WiFiE combined for downloading of large files, downloadable themes like on a PC, always on time when screen is locked makes easy to check time without turning phone on or hitting a button, double click the home button and camera pops up without lag ready for pics or video are some of my favorites. One feature I truly miss is ability to reject numbers. It was nice to not be bothered by telemarketers. Overall this computer… I mean phone is the latest and greatest and is the perfect flagship of the Galaxy line.

My s7 works great, still performs top notch even after several years of near constant use. I will not replace until ot dies completely most likely. Picture quality is great, screen resolution and battery life are also awesome and it does what I need it to do and much more. The only downfall is that its so delicate cracked the back glass within a few days and had to have it replaced, even the case didnt save it. Now I have it protected with a clear film wrap and its good to go, has been dropped countless times in the case and is still fine with the wrap.

I am really loving my new Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. That being said, Im going to focus less on the greatness of the phonecamera which is just a faster, better version of the previous Galaxy S phones, and talk about what is not great. There will be plenty of other reviews focusing on the glory of all that is included and great, Im sure. But dont think for a second, that because there is only negative in this review, I do not like the phone. I love it. But I want you to know what is not great, since many other people will gloss over it.The only thing I dont like is a change that was made back in the S5, apparently I upgraded from an S4. I dont understand why they had to change the menu button to a windowsmultitasking button. This functionality used to be called by holding down the center home button, but now holding that down just opens a Google Now voice control search app. With a Google search widget on the desktop already, I dont really need this functionality. Another hassle with this change, is that I am constantly accidentally touching the multitask button while typing, which completely interrupts my typing, and can accidentally switch to a different app, if you dont stop fast enough. They also added another swipe required to get to the unlock screen, instead of just showing it immediately after turning on the screen after I disabled the always on screen which was just constantly draining my battery. The one benefit that you get due to this, however, is that you get more screen space for app notifications while the phone is locked. The last thing that was supposed to be a great feature, but seemed to fall far short to me, is the Samsung Smart Switch featureapp. It is made out to be the only thing youll need to get all your apps, accounts, settings, etc moved from old phone to new. Im pretty sure all it did for me was get my apps autoinstalled. I had to do all the rest. Big disappointment, after the hype. After those very few things in the grand list of features, etc, I absolutely love my new S7. From the sleek almost too sleek exterior, to the speedy processor, to the incredible screen, to the much faster loading camera, to the sweet new features most of which are far more than a simple person like me needs the Samsung Galaxy S7 is an amazing smartphone. I expect to love it for years to come.

I had this phone for almost 3 years and loved it. It performed reliably with a great screen quality and sound. The camera was good too. Unfortunately I had to upgrade to a phone with a newer version of android due to work apps I needed. Im still keeping it as my backup phone because it was my best phone ever

Now that the year is coming to an end and the price has come down a little, you couldnt ask for more value from a phone. By no means does that mean its dated. The S7 still remains the top phone on the market. The first thing you notice upon turning the S7 on is the screen. The crisp HD amoled screen with its curved edges is nothing short of stunning. I like having the option out of box to change the icon display size as well. With 4GBs of RAM running Marshmallow on an Octacore processor you can be sure any video, website, or photos you throw at it respond snappy without any of the stutters or lag you experience with lower quality phones.Samsung Switch makes getting a new phone easier than ever. Simply connect your old device to the S7 with the provided USB connector, and easily transfer everything from contacts, music, and photos, to documents and WiFi information from your old device to your new one effortlessly. Add in features like Samsung Pay, Wireless Charging, NFC, and Smart View along with the Fingerprint and Iris Scanner, not to mention the 16MP Low Light back camera with flash….whats not to loveThe only thing I find myself missing is the IRBLASTER and the SPen found in the Note Series.

For the longest time and still kind of am just a talk and text person. I never needed a smart phone, then 2 years ago i bought a windows phone mainly for the camera it had. It was a great phone, didnt matter that the apps were limited because i still never really used any of them. But this past summer when Microsoft decided to get out of the phone game, i felt i was forced to look now towards apple or android. A majority of my friends and family all had iphones, but it all seemed like once you got an apple phone, everything else in your life had to be apple. So i focused on android, i thought about going with just a cheap 100 phone, but i wanted a phone i knew might last and be supported for more than a year or two. So i found myself focusing more on Samsung phones, i couldnt afford the new S8, even the S7 seem to expensive for my taste. But as i was nearly about to buy a S6 i got lucky and found a open box deal on a S7, which the S7 is what i preferred. I am still learning the ropes with the Android OS, but as for the phone it feels solid and good. It runs great and has a decent battery life. I do wish the battery was replaceable for that day down the road when it wears short. I love that it still has a headphone jack, but i guess im old fashioned that way. Overall i am enjoying this phone and would recommend it to anyone.

Wow Those were the first words out of my mouth when I got the notification that my phone had been delivered a day early. I opened the modest packaging to find my new, used SGS7 in pristine condition. I could not find a scratch on it. Now Im seven days into using it, Im still just as impressed as day one. The battery life is excellent today I went almost 24 hours without charging it with moderate use. The screen is bright and colorful, the camera is easy to use, and the pictures are incredible It also responds well to tactile manipulation and is responsive and decently accurate, even with fat fingers. Its ability to allow you to add up to 256 GB of extra, encrypted memory is nothing to shake a stick at either, and Ive already added a 128 GB card that easily fit everything on my old phone. Backups are still recommended because I have personally experienced SD card malfunctions in the past and lost data. Overall, though, its a great phone and Im truly impressed with it. A

Excellent, highquality phone. Clearest audio Ive ever had in a phone. Speakerphone works very well. Thrilled with my purchase.I spent hours scouring reviews of prepaid phones on the web, only to come away disappointed by the negative reviews. I felt like giving up when I found the reviews for this phone. I made the right choice.Note I purchased this phone for a new business I just launched, so it was very important to me that it work well. Im rural and do everything for my business online.I didnt know anything about StraightTalk until I found this phone on Walmart.com. Turns out they are like Google Fi but better. Straight Talk uses Verizon which Google Fi doesnt use, AT

I purchased this refurbish phone and I have to say this is the best phone I have had. Beats paying those super high prices for new ones. I have been forced to learn a lot about cell phone because I live in a rule area and I do not want to be locked down by one carrier. I will say this for which consumers have no idea about. When you purchase a phone you need to know that even through it may be an unlocked phone, if it has ever been connected to a net work then it is fully NOT unlocked and never will be. Networks burn there information into the phone that can not be removed or wiped cleaned. The other thing you need to know is very important, know the reversion of the phone especially the android version and the Samsung version. This make all the difference in the world. Now cellular company will not be able to tell you unless the pick up the very phone they are sending to you and look at it. If is not ever in there description. With this company they some how did it, so I received a phone with a 8.0 Android and a 9.0 Samsung version. And by far this phone is three times faster than my old S7 and better reception for where I live. These people are awesome to work with and the price was unbeatable for the product I purchased. Plus with the guarantee and they have a very good support line too.

I bought this device to replace my previous 2 devices, both of which had very good camera experiences but had overall strange bugs, lags, or other performance issues.S7 is an improvement over my previous devices in all aspects, including camera. I absolutely love this device.PROs1 Camera Absolutely lightning fast, captures great detail, has manual mode and ability to capture in RAW2 Screen Bright and gorgeous. Its really good sized considering the rather small inhand size of this device.3 Size Its a smaller device than ones Id previously used, and thats actually a good thing. I was looking for something a little less bulky in my pocket4 Water resistance Great feature to have when you have kids like I do5 SD Card Slot Great feature added back on the S7. Extra storage for cheap6 Performance Overall UI performance is lightning fast. No lag when scrolling through menus, loading apps from memory, etc.7 Looks Great looking device. I hate putting a case on it, but must do so to keep from inevitable damage the rear glass would end up with if I didnt8 Wireless Charging First device Ive ever had with this feature, and this will be something I look for on all devices going forward. Very easy to charge if in a dark room. No need for finding plug, just set on the pad.9 Connectivity is excellent. WiFi, BT, Cellular, NFC all work flawlessly. I have no issues connecting to data or devices and staying connected.CONs1 Keyboard not my favorite…Stock email app definitely not my favorite.. I ended up with a 3rd party apps for these that will go nameless so as to not violate Samsung review policy.2 Stock speaker. Its strong enough for speakerphone or watching basic video but wont compete with phones with dual front speakers.Neither of the CONs were enough for me to doubt the device, as I am very picky and often prefer to use 3rd party apps for certain functions.Overall, this is the closest to the perfect device I have found…and Ive owned nearly every brand of cellular phone manufacturer over the last 34 years.

i have had samsung cellular phones before. up till now the s7active was the marvel. tough, gritty, well designed and put together and i almost miss it. my brother passed on his nearnew s8. one day i dropped it, small fractures spider webbed from the top cornerlater i dropped it, cracked the screen. third time no bueno. then i discovered the used market and found an s7. what a phone. just like the s7active but without the rubber baby buggy bumpers to protect it. the otter box folks with there version of the rbbb.

I just got my Galaxy S7 a month ago and am still impressed with its performance and looks. The case is the slimmest Ive held, and though a bit slick, I havent managed to drop it yet. The elegance of the silky smooth case gives the S7 a quality feel which IMO offsets the lack of grip, and is negated by addition of a protective case anyway, so the point is moot. Though I do keep it uncased at home just to enjoy the smooth elegance of the design. Its fast and battery life, while it could be a lot better isnt the worst. The bloatware is a little ridiculous and youd think there would be better alternatives than voiding the warranty to have fewer resource hogging, worthless apps taking up space and battery life. Carriers, please as expensive as this phone is, there has to be a way to disable the bloat The screen is typical Samsung marvelous quality, with sharp detail and crisp colors. The camera takes excellent photos as long as you hold really still. Lots of bells and whistles everywhere I wish the apps and gallery would really store items on the external memory like I tell them to, but if you crop a photo, onto the phone storage it goes a habit which can at some point impede performance. overall, these are small nags and even being able to send things to your memory card once again, as opposed to a virtual SD card is HUGE Thank you for fixing that mistake Bottom line, this phone does everything I need it to very well, voice is clear, photos are sharp, and the Android OS continues to beat IOS IMO. For a buyer looking for options at less than front row price, this is the phone you need.

Prior to my Galaxy S7, I owned a different companys flagship. It was a great phone, but had its issues, and I was thrilled by the improvements I gained with the S7. The camera quality, modes especially Pro mode, features, and ease of use are outstanding. I have long been waiting for a camera that allows me to change the exposure time and ISO, and the S7 delivers. The only qualms I have about the camera is that the slomotion is subpar compared to the iPear. It doesnt have 240 FPS, and the video is slightly darker than it should be. Sometimes it skips frames, too. Additionally, the frontfacing camera does not focus on my face or other objects. The closer I get, the less out of focus it becomes. Even my iPod Touch 4th generation from seven years ago could focus better than mine. After doing some research, it appears that other S7 users are experiencing this, while others are not. The performance of this phone is similar to most highend flagship phones. Theyre all extremely fast. Even in Power Saving Mode another great feature, most games and apps still run smoothly, and multitasking takes a minimal hit. I could go on and on about every feature I love in this phone, but I am not trying to write a multipage review. The display is fantastic, the features, the customization, the water and dust resistance, and just about everything else. Samsung was wise to add the SD card back to the design, and I will likely not buy their next few flagships if they get rid of the SD card slot again. Also, Samsung makes SD cards which I use and I highly recommend, so to create their devices with the inability to use their own SD cards is insane. Another issue I ran into was that Android OS uses excessive amounts of data, even after disabling GPS, location, sync, background data for all Google apps, and restricting background data. It used almost 500 MB of background data in a period of a week after my data reset. Also, there is no Restrict Background Data option after choosing Data Usage and tapping on an app you wish to restrict background data for. I have the S7 a friend of mine who owns the S7 Edge had this option in their settings. That could be because my device is on US Cellular, I am not sure. I dont want to end on a sour note, so despite this phones flaws, it is still the best device you can get right now. You can use it anywhere, even next to a waterfall, and not worry about it getting damaged I still recommend a case, of course, it looks great, feels great in your hand, has very few issues, and altogether puts the iPhone to shame. The qualms I do have are nothing compared to the wonderful features of this device. It is the epitome of the smartphone for 2016.

My new Samsung Galaxy S7 replaces my former S4. It is so much better a computing and communications device than my S4 it is almost incomparable. Its faster. Photos are better. Everything is just bigger, faster, sharper, newer, and more improved. My only bad thing to say about my S7 is that when I use either of my matching set of bluetooth headphones, it will sometimes restart on its own. Sometimes it is maybe minutes between restarts… sometimes hours between restarts. It didnt happen the first time until I paired one of my headphones to it before going to the gym with it for the first time instead of using the S4 as I would have previously done. After it paired, it rebooted a few minutes later.. and then once more before the end of the workout before an hour was up. This is very annoying. When it restarts on its own.. the only really good thing is… it restarts very quickly and it keeps a copy of what was running in memory available to open quickly from the task manager so I can get back to the exercise program or music program and get those things that have had to pause while it restarts running again. Had my S4 done this, I dont think it would have saved the state of running appsprograms between restarts as the S7 does. For the S4, if it restarted, it started up with no pendingrunning apps in the task manager… if it rebooted with 4 apps running.. the S4 would restart with 0 running. When I do not use bloothooth, the S7 has never attempted to restart on its own.If there was no flaws in bluetooth, this would have received 5 stars all the way across the board. The other thing with bluetooth is… with matching sets of bluetooth headphones one pair is always in use.. the other is charging or charged, when I go to pair bluetooth headset, it doesnt always automatically pick the bluetooth headset that is powered on. Almost always I will have to use the bluetooth control panel and select which one to activate instead of it seeing it available and starting its activation use automatically.

Received this like new phone and Im not disappointed. I wanted to replace my older Samsung S4 Active which was getting long in the tooth and having problems with signal reception and battery life. I wanted to stay small and wanted a bargain. This S7 fits the bill. The screen image is crystal clear, the signal reception is definitely better than what I was experiencing with the older phone, and the battery holds its charge very well. It takes a while to adjust to the several slight differences in operating this phone from operation of the S4, but nothing significant enough to cause me any regret. The S7 came in the original box with the original charger and cord. All that was missing was the ear buds that I would never use anyway. I am very pleased with the S7 and, for my purposes, I do not need any features that are on this phone.

Ive had several older Galaxy S phones, the original Galaxy S1, S2, and the S4 my wife had the S3 now the Galaxy Note 4. I have to say I really like the S7 the best.Im very happy theyve decided to add back the Micro SD slot on this phone I think that was the 1 major drawback on the S6s. While a non removeable battery for many may seem like a draw back to some. But think about it last few generations of phones how many battery issues have you had As in defective battery. Ive had none. The only real issue is battery life, which so far this phone does amazing with. Now a days too there are those battery charger packs you can get. Heck I got once with this phone for free and have yet to use it.The features of the phone are pretty awesome and their seems to be less bloatware then past models. Yes there are still a few, some stupid NFL thing which got immediately disabled and a couple others. I love the VR Gear option with this phone and the VR Gear goggles are pretty sweet, much cooler then I had original thought. I had as did my wife thought was more of a gimmick. And maybe to some degree it is marketing wise. But the VR thing is actually pretty sweet. My wife is not one to easily impress especially with video game like things. She ended up being on the VR Gear for over an hour the first night we got it just playing around with free apps and such while I got maybe about 25 mins on it.Also there is a theme option with this phone and I really like it, wasnt to thrilled with the bright menu options so being able to find a night dark option was great. The camera is really great and a lot better then my S4 and the low light feature really works much better then I thought it would.Normal phone usage, phone calls, texts etc. All work pretty great, the clarity of the calls is really good and the additional increase sound option I love because Im partially deaf. The speaker of the phone is at the bottom which Im finding to be a much better decision then on the back in past models especially when watching videos and the like. I was always finding myself cupping my hand to drag the sound forward toward me which isnt very comfortable. Now with the speaking at the bottom of the device when holding the phone sideways though even right way the sound is nice and loud and I dont need to cup to be able to hear it even in busy areas like I did in the past. The screen is just amazingly crisp and clear and videos, games VR normal look great on it.The phone is pretty darn fast responsive using programs, games, apps etc. No hangs or anything Ive noticed as of yet.Over all I think this is probably the best phone available now and is definitely the best Galaxy S model to date. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. And Id definitely encourage anyone with an iPhone to switch over this phone is a ton better then any iPhone. Oh and the water proof thing is pretty cool as well.My only 2 real complaints are First I miss the voice control of the alarm, nothing like just being able to lay in bed and yell at your alarm to stop and it does just that… though I always wished I could say shut up and it would stop.lolSecond this is more of an android thing I think then anything on Samsungs side, but I really wish you could move all apps you install on the phone to the SD card, some apps give you the option afterward but not all and I would like them to just always install there to begin with.

As much as I would like to say how many great things are going on with the Samsung Galaxy S7, Ive yet to be fully satisfied with what Im seeing and experiencing. One reason is because the phone constantly overheats when charging on fast charge settings via cord and Wireless or removed fast charging settings. Even when you optimize the battery to ensure some apps arent constantly running when not in use, it still manages to overheat. The processing speed is nothing to brag about considering my wifes Note 5 performs better than the S7. The phone is small which does make it convenient for pocket placement comma however its small size is also a problem to those with bigger hands. Forcing the need to buy the Note 5 or S7 Edge. The phone is grossly overpriced, and the reason is mostly for its Fitness utilities. The Health utilities are very useful in keeping track ones own wellbeing. Its accuracy to location when using Google Maps and S Health is excellent. The fingerprint reader was a very nice touch. However it could use some improvement on actual finger placement or even a full scan of ones finger comma reason being is when using this security feature the phone tends to not recognize the finger that has been stored in its memory and then locks the person out for 30 seconds before trying again. Should also include a feature to take a picture of the person trying to unlock the phone when an attempt has failed.

I have used the Active series from many years, I am very familiar with the line. The S8 is all of the S7 and better with one major flaw, there are no buttons. Those of us who use gloves to work or play must remove them to answer calls or to dismiss them. There were several functions around the physical buttons that were needed and are now gone. I understand the idea that it should have been better sans buttons, but in a real world application it is an annoyance at the least. Yes, I have gloves that allow me to use a touch screen, but none thick enough to wear on the slopes. One other thing but this phone is used and may have had its glass changed without me being told, while removing my screen guard with a thin razor blade the screen received a small crack, a star. I was shocked, I had dropped an S7 from the second floor with no damage once.

I bought this for my husband since his old S5 wasnt working well anymore. Plus the batteries I bought werent worth the money as they didnt hold a charge. So I looked for an S7 that was in really nice shape, but wasnt too expensive. I wanted one with no screen issues and this fit the bill. I originally used an S7 Edge and let my husband use it until he got a new phone. Upon opening the box, we saw it looked almost new. It came with a Samsung charger Id never seen before, but that wasnt a concern. We have plenty of chargers cables. He loves the ringer and speaker since its much louder than the S5. The battery seems to be holding up well. One of the reasons I got this one was it was a manufacturer refurb. So I hoped it came with a decent battery. It started up perfectly, ready for personalization and went through a couple of updates. Hes getting used to the changes and is very pleased with the phone. Id definitely recommend it.

I upgraded from the galaxy s4 about 3 weeks ago. Initially loved the new S7 but have recently started having issues with it restarting itself, and not being able to navigate some apps. My husband also upgraded from the S4 to the S7 the same day I did. He is also having problems with his new phone, however his major problem is he cannot get any service unless he is connected to WiFi for some reason. Also both of us, even though all notifications are turned on the phones will not notify us when we get text messages or certain other notifications. I am very frustrated that we are both having problems especially with the cost of the phones. Some positives on the other hand include excellent camera, expandable memory, and sleek design. A little difficult to type on but at least you can make the keyboard bigger. The phone also comes with headphones in a nice little case but the new design of the headphones it awful. They are solid plastic with rubber covers that come in 2 sizes, but it doesnt matter what size you use they are very uncomfortable unless youre ears are just the right size and shape. The headphonesecond that came with our S4s were much more comfortable and had better sound.Overall I feel like there is a lot that needs to be fixed with the phone but at least its pretty, right If these issues are fixed I will totally love the phone, until then ehh.

I have switched from my reliable Galaxy S5 to the new and improved S7. The S7 is a large improvement over the previous generations and other phones of its class. The S7 feels expensive with its perfectly rounded and contoured edges, the ideal weight to lend it a solid experience it was MADE for your hand. The return of the SD slot is amazing, and i am currently enjoy 128G even though it can handle more. The fingerprint sensor is actually affective and accurate now, and the relocation of the headphone jack to the bottom is handy. I especially enjoy the metal buttons and the separation of the volume button. The S7 packs a powerful camera, fast processor, and competitive screen and speakers.Despite all of these amazing features, my favorite features are the quick charge 2.0 w wireless charging combined with the new internal cooling system brand new to smart phones. Being able to fully charge your phone in about 90 minutes is amazing lets be honest, most of us drain use it until about 50 and then top it off… in this case topping off is FAST.Lastly, this phone is tough. I mean really tough. Within the first week of owning this phone it was thrown across the floor what can i say, little kids can be fast and sneaky however there was zero damage done.If you are looking for a comfortably sized and powerful smart phone not a phablet then this is the way to go. Well done SamsungThis review is of my unbiased, uninfluenced opinion. This review was created solely for the purpose of sharing my experiences and opinions about this great product

My Samsung Galaxy S8 Active is everything I was hoping for and then some. The screen of the phone was like brand new, 100 blimish free. The back and sides of phone had minor wear, just like the discription stated, which is to be expected when buying a used product. The phone is up to date and the battery life is amazing especially after having chase down a charger 3x a day with my old Samsung Note. With the S8 I can go to work for 12 hours and still be above 70 battery life. Its nice being able to go to work or whatever and not have to worry about if my phone is off due to a dead battery. Very satisfied

I went from a Galaxy Core Prime purchased in summer 2016, to this new Galaxy S7. So far, so good. Great screen image, and nice speed on WiFi or Data. Although Netflix movies were absolutely sparkling, I had to turn off the High Performance mode because it was sucking the battery pretty fast. Every thing still looks nice with the Optimized mode, and the battery lasts much longer. I have only had it a very short while. If it holds up, I will regard it as 5Stars.

As this is my 1st cellphone, the learning curve is steep. I recommend that one should NEVER skip any of the original installationsetup steps. There was an issue with the reseller, they put the phone on the wrong , and when the setup was done it was only partially completed, and 4 weeks later I am still encountering issues.Great features Solid support, quality built. Many excellent features, top or near top in class. The camera time lag between shots is nonexistent, this is a super feature, as well as the burst feature. Sharing photos is easy. Screens respond magically quickly, the split screen is great, the fingerprint security is great peace of mind. The ability to talk to text, once I resolved the kinks, is excellent.MediumSound quality better than Mxxxxxxx, not quite as good as the xxx10. That must be why the phone came wheadphones.ProblemsFor this phoneunlike my wifes xxx 10, the only way to do the setup is to kill all data and settings and start all over again, and after i had already spent 1015 hours getting the phone partially functioning w some of the previous file data, I was unwilling to start from scratch. I found some of the OEM loaded apps difficult or non responsive. The keyboard was switched to Swift key, the bar code reader offered by Samsung didnt work, xxx Scanner does. Svoice doesnt seem to work as well as xxx Voice. The email and text message and contacts programs all needed changes or several attempt to make the settings and syncro work. After many hours of work, the phone does function better. After reading the whole manual twice, I still find my self stymed when the phone wants to load new apps I did not select to load, and then it locks up the old ap. I will say Samsung support and COMPANY OWNED xxx carrier store support has been unfailingly polite and patient with my lack of knowledge and experience. The reseller was worse than useless, as they permanently disabled my previous phone and that should never have happened. Still havent figured how to unselect data download so large data downloads and syncs are done thru only wifi and not thru mobile data while I have the mobile data turned on so I can use the phone.

My four year old Galaxy S7 began acting up, not holding a charge very long, taking longer to charge, and then the screen began flickering. It seemed it had reached its final days, much sooner than I had expected after just four years, but I didnt have the money for an S10, an S9, even an S8. Since it had been my first smartphone, and it had taken me awhile to learn the insandouts, I elected to buy and identical S7, because it did everything I needed with little difficulty. It also was 14 the cost I had paid 4 years ago. That was a huge blessing. I know the newer models may have better cameras or different features, but I had no desire to have to spend time learning new techniques. This is a very adequate phone, and from what Ive heard from Friends, far better than the S8.Jeff at the Chardon Ohio Walmart was incredibly helpful to me. I cannot say enough about his efforts to help me understand the process of initiating the new phone.

Before beginning it is necessary to know that I upgraded from a Galaxy S5. That phone on the V network after upgraded to Lollipop was abysmal, suffering from moderate to severe performance issues and the need for frequent cache wiping and resets. This was not an isolated issue as the wifes S5 suffered from the same issues just not to the same extent as mine as she is less demanding on a phone. It is important to know that the fault with the S5 performance lies more with that V carrier than with Samsung as V refused to push Samsung provided OS upgrades for the bug prone Lollipop version 5.0.The S7 is on the FAR opposite end of the phone spectrum from the S5. Its construction and design exudes quality and style. Performance as far as speed and battery life are also Vastly superior to the S5. With my old phone I could just barely eek out a whole day on a charge where the S7 usually can just go 2 days on a charge. Performance 99 of the time is also outstandingly fast. The display is gorgeous as ever just as Samsung is known for. The surprise I experienced was just how gorgeous the screen is even when not even lit The way in which the screen bends ever so slightly at the edges together with the almost Black Pearlesque appearance is just amazingThe camera also is just amazing Pictures taken in less than optimum light look far better than the images looked to the naked eye. And the double click of the home button is so fast at bringing up the camera app that there will be far fewer missed pictures from this point forward.Only had the phone a couple weeks so far but am loving it so far with only a couple brief performance hiccups experienced. Heres hoping that the phones OS will mature and improve although, honestly there is LITTLE room for improvement as Samsung introduces updates along the way and that my new carrier which begins with the letter A does a quicker job pushing out any OS upgrades.Thank you Samsung for giving me newfound hope again in Android

The phone is in good physical condition and functions as expected. You may need to do a manual update as they arent using the most recent AOS and wont update automatically if youre not putting them under Verizon contract. I would have given it 5 stars but the packaging was less than stellar. The box was fine cocooned in packing tape but inside was the AC adapter Samsung branded, matching power cable aftermarket, and the phone just had 1 sheet of large bubble wrap….not taped. Like laid in on one side and just folded up and around loosely leaving one side open. The phone could be heard thumping around inside the box which may have contributed to some of the superficial scratches on the screen.

Pros Ability to add an extra 256gb of storage via micro SD Card FANTASTIC and blows the overrated iPhone into the weeds. If, like most people, you want to keep loads of videos and pictures then this is brilliant Fast and good battery life. Big clear screen and lots of thoughtful touches which make it a pleasure to use. This is my second one as I managed to finally break the screen of my old one when I dropped it for the 100th time in a case…still works thoughBest phone I ever used so far bar none.Cons Cannot change Battery every 2 years Why Edge Functions seem to be a gimmick which result in accidental function activations so I switched off all the edge junk. Cannot make Private Files function to work from SD card I like to keep family photosvideos, banks stuff secure so if I ever lost the phone it wouldnt be accessable. Also it makes backing up easy as I just put anything important in here. Because I got so much stuff in there its now used all the internal stroage up when I have 200gb spare on the SD card….FIX THIS PLEASE SAMSUNGVERY expensive to get a new screen fitted so use a case.

Ive had my phone since midJuly and in the middle of browsing on the Facebook app yesterday the phone froze. When I tried to get the phone to restart, the phone would not turn back on and still will not turn on. My phone does not have any water damage and has not been dropped. The phone had 98 battery when it failed so its also not a battery issue, its either electrical or software related and thats bad.Usually when you purchase a cell phone, they come with a 1 year limited manufacturers warranty to protect against this kind of issue. However, since I unknowingly purchased the international version of the phone, I was not aware that it is not subject to this type of warranty. This version of the unlocked phone was not meant to be sold in the US. This is the international version of the phone, so if anything happens to it Samsung USA will not fix the phone. Samsungs policy is that all phones need to be fixed in the country that they were manufactured for and Samsung will not provide the information to get it fixed to you. I would not have purchased this phone if I knew this because its always better to be safe than sorry. This phone was a great phone when it was working properly, but no phone in like new condition should fail in this way after less than 90 days of use unless it was made poorly to begin with. I had my previous Samsung phone for 4 years and it still works with very few issues. I was hoping that this Galaxy would be the same , but I am really disappointed in what I got, especially for the price.Bottom line is, if you want this phone, be an informed consumer. Make sure when you purchase the phone you know what you are getting and that if something should happen to your phone that you can get it repaired so you dont have to go through what Im going through now.

Galaxy S8 active was the phone I had, it was so durable that it laid in a traffic lane for an hour. As I pulled up to find it , I heard it get ran over again. The phone phone had no screen at all, and was still working, making all notifications and ringing with no way to operate. Had to order a replacement. Refurbished phone has brand new operating system with the latest features. New Screen and corners. Only complaint is the battery life but the phone does twice what my Last phone did, maybe thats why shorter battery life. Still best 160 phone on the planet. My original was 950 new.

So far Ive found very little to complain about with this phone, so Ill get that part out of the way up front. My first complaint is about the glass back. Its beautiful, but it makes the phone twice as breakable, and is apparently very difficult to replace. I would have preferred a back made of leather or wood, like the Moto X. Those materials are much better at withstanding impact, they feel good in the hand, they wear nicely, and theyre beautiful to look at. My second complaint is about the removal of the IR blaster. I really enjoyed having this feature on my Galaxy S5 I used it all the time with my TV at home. Now, on to the good stuff.DisplayThe display is incredible, as youd expect on a Samsung flagship phone. The AlwaysOn Display feature seems wellimplemented. It looks nice, and doesnt drain the battery noticeably. One problem Ive run into is screen protectors. Even though this is the flat version of the phone and not the Edge, the edges of the screen are slightly curved all around. That means that a tempered glass screen protector, if designed to be the same size as the screen, would not stick to the edges of the screen around the outside, the screen would curve away from the flat surface of the screen protector. As a result, most glass screen protectors for this phone only cover the flat part of the screen, leaving an ugly gap around the outside edge. Other solutions cover the entire screen, but only have adhesive at the top and bottom, allowing dust and other gunk to get between the protector and the screen. My conclusion was that the best available solution at this time is a plastic film screen protector designed to adhere to the entire screen and conform to the curved edge. It hasnt arrived in the mail yet, but Im hoping it doesnt ruin the feel of the touchscreen.CameraI recently went on a weeklong trip to New Mexico, and on that trip, I decided I wanted to try every feature the camera had to offer. This took all week. This is an extremely capable camera that takes gorgeous pictures. Optical image stabilization and fast autofocus make it very easy for amateurs to capture highquality images. I made panoramas, slowmotion videos, 360degree pictures, time lapses, wide selfies, normal selfies, RAW images, and even a cool underwater picture yes, I straightup dunked my phone in a mountain spring to take a picture. This phone has a good camera.Physical designThe design of this phone is very visually appealing. It is without question the most beautiful phone Samsung has produced yet, at least out of the box. Once you touch it, it immediately starts accumulating smudges, but it is easy to clean. According to my limited testing, yes, the phone will survive being dunked. The speaker didnt work properly until the phone had finished drying out, but after that, it has continued to function just as well as the day I bought it. If youre charging it and using it at the same time, the phone will heat up a bit. Ive never had it get uncomfortably hot in my pocket. See my aforementioned gripe about the glass back. Major props to Samsung for bringing back the MicroSD card slot. Ive currently got a 128GB card in there more about that in the Software section. I know the location of the fingerprint scanner on a phone is a subject of debate, but I like it where it is on the home button.Fingerprint scannerIt works much better than the one on the S5, but is still not quite as fast as my wifes iPhone 6S. It is accurate enough to not be annoying.SoftwareAs I did with my S5, I immediately replaced TouchWiz with Google Now Launcher. Samsungs take on Android is mostly pretty good, with one exception their omission of support for adoptable storage. Adoptable storage the ability of the phones OS to use the MicroSD card as additional internal storage is one of the features I anticipated most in Marshmallow, and Samsung just decided their customers didnt want that. However, after some minor hacking, I was able to reenable this feature.BatteryThe battery in this phone lasts as long as I need it to. It would be nice if it were removable, but thats not a huge issue for me. Wireless charging and fast charging both work well with this phone, and make it easier to keep it topped off throughout the day. The phone will not allow cable charging if it detects moisture in the charging port, which is good, because that could cause corrosion.PhoneYes, it works well as a phone. Texting and voice calls are good on this phone.PerformanceThis phone is quite fast. I havent run any real tests on processing speed, but when I tell it to do something, it does it immediately.ConclusionI am glad I bought this phone. It was expensive, but for me, I think its worth it.

The first phone I received had an issue with the power switch. I was able to turn the phone on, but it was difficult to make it power down. But after a couple days, the phone failed to recognize my thumb print any more, so I requested an exchange. The seller responded quickly, I returned the phone, and another one was sent back to me. So far, it has worked flawlessly. Ive switched between a US SIM card and a European SIM card without any issues, or the need for manual configuration. The phone takes excellent photos, and has excellent sound. Battery life is unknown at this point, as I dont have many apps installed. But comparing it to my old Galaxy S5, I think battery life is similar. I only rated it 4star because as a premium phone granted, a couple of years old, it performed well, but I also expected it to perform well. So it definitely lived up to my expectations.

My priorities with a phone are camera quality battery life easy custom screen setup so I get my favorite apps all on one page highquality screen firstrate operating system. The things I use my phone for the most are text messages including whatsapp, maps and navigation, voice calls, reading the news. My nonpriorities are data uploads and downloads watching video listening to music chats or skype social media. The things I never use my phone for are TwitterFBetc, multimedia, gaming. With that in mind, I confidently rate this the best phone of its generation 2016 for my needs. Battery life is outstanding. As long as I charge it overnight, it never even comes close to running down. It charges quickly with the supplied fastcharge adaptor, never more than about 45 minutes to go from, say, 30 to 100. Camera quality is outstanding, and Im fussy. It handles demanding lighting extremely well, without objectionable artifacts. When I compare my photos with my iPhoneusing friends, looking only at image quality and usefulness in difficult lighting, I generally find the Samsung does a better job. Again, for my needs, its the best. Your needs might be different.

Just upgraded to this phone from an S4, and it was well worth the investment. The most immediately notable feature is the camera, which has been made easier to use and has significantly improved performance, particularly in low light. Im able to get clear, sharp pictures in a dimly lit living room without having to tweak the camera just pick up and shoot.Im also happy with the addition of easilyaccessed slow motion video, since its super useful for sports. The second innovation I love is the popout drawer on top for the sim SD card Ive always disliked having to pry the back off my phone and fiddle about near the electronics to access those. Im a bit ambivalent about not being able to access the battery, but I have several friends who use and love the S7 and theyve assured me its not a problem and of course thats offset by knowing the phone should be able to hold up to use outofdoors something thats important to me since I hike, geocache, and do outdoor dog sports. I use Otterbox cases, but the phones builtin resistance to water and dust is a big plus.I also really like the splitscreen feature and the quick access to recently used apps. The only reason I havent given the phone 5 stars for everything is that I do have the Verizon version, which has had some of the softwareUI features removed or hidden.

I upgraded to this phone from a S4. This was a major upgrade even though I lost the removable battery and IR blaster, I kept microSD card support and gained water resistance. One thing that I dont like is the level of difficulty involved in repair of items that could fail on the phone ie. battery, screen, charging port, etc. I personally repaired the screen on my S4 at least 4 times including the digitizer as well one time. This is much more difficult on the S7. The battery life on this phone hasnt impressed me yet either. The phone has always made it through the day for me, but sometimes it will barely make it to 930 or 10 PM. From the battery stats screen, android system and android OS are the culprits with the most battery usage, which tells me that perhaps a software upgrade could improve battery life. The screen colors look great, the camera comes up quick and focuses even quicker, Samsung pay works well, I love being able to take the phone in the shower and listen to music, the always on display works well and is handy, performance and multitasking works very well, and call quality is top notch especially HD voice. All in all, Im happy with this phone, I know that no phone is perfect, and I think this is the best phone on the market currently which is why I chose to upgrade from my trusty S4

I am on my 4th week trying this phone and I gotta say I am very impressed of how they kept this phone in the loop for a while. When Im through with an exercise I can check my heart rate to see how fast or slow it is. This device has a stunning glass cover on the back of the phone that really makes it feel like this phone was meant to be around a very long time. I switched from an iPhone SE To this and it is amazingly more bigger and customizable than any other phone I have had. The only things I have to say had about the phone is the performance and the camera. The iphone camera went smooth across any lighting and didnt drop framerates. This is a kind of a pet peeve of mine but I quickly got over it because it made up with a more detailed studio mode. The performance is a little laggy at times and it kinda gets on my nerves a little, but thats what you would expect with an older phone. Overall I give this device a big thumbs up for all the easy access and creativity that was put into this phone.

I am 52 yrs old and I have been hooked on smart technology since 1992 when I purchased my first computer. I have since grabbed every new computer, tablet and smart phone that has hit the market with what I call a WOW factor. So when the new Galaxy S7 hit the market you know I had to have it. It is sleek, stylish, lightweight and it is a powerhouse to say the least. I love the fact that it has a fast charging feature. this power house charges from a 2 battery life to 100 power in as little as 2 hours. It can also be fast charged on a wireless base. It has several locking security features including fingerprint locking. Another really cool feature this phone has is Smart Stay have you ever been trying to get through an automated call system such as your cable TV company trying to key in the correct number response and the phone goes to sleep on you…well with Smart Stay turned on this will never happen again. It sees your face looking at the screen and it stays awake This phone is like having a mini computer in your hands at all times. With features such as video calling, front and back cameras all with 4G HD quality and lets not forget the awesome convenience of NFC payment features and of course Samsung Pay…the features and the capabilities of this phone is endless. If your in the market for an awesome WOW factor phone then you have to test drive the Galaxy S7 or the S7 edge..you will not want to leave the store without one.

This phone is my first real phone in almost six years and so far it has been great. The large home button functioning as a fingerprinter reader is large enough to not have to search for it and yet small enough not to get in the way. The screen is large and bright even on the lowest brightness setting. The sensitivity of the screen and response time is fantastic and I hardly ever misclick with my thumbs. That being said, the keyboard can be a bit small it feels. I hardly had trouble typing on my Droid X or Moto G, but for some reason typing on here seems difficult even with the bigger screen. The only other downside I have found is when I try to use the power button one handed while my phone is on vibrate. I find pushing on the power button with my left thumb while holding it, I hit the volume up or down taking it off vibrate or putting it on silent. That however may be an issue in conjunction with the Otterbox case its wrapped in.That being said, its really the only downsides to this phone. After three weeks of use Ive never had to charge it during the day even after heavy texting, browsing and general usage. The speed charger is great for if you are up late and forget to put it on the charger early. If you like using the S Health I can say its been much improved over the previous S6 from when I used it on my familys phone. Only once or twice did I have issues with it reading from my finger. All in all, its great for a new phone if you want the latest and greatest. I opted not to get the edge due to wanting a case that it fits snuggley in.

Phone has so much to speak about…but that is coming from someone who had a Samsung Galaxy 3 for years and years. Though I am very amazed with the software and surprised what it does and do regret not getting a newer model sooner Battery life is a down fall and does not hold charge that long…..had done my homework on this phone before getting and the comments about the battery were true It is a great phone and enjoying what it does

Phone was in very good condition. Minor scuffs on the rear top and bottom leading edges. The charging port has some scratches around the perimeter of the port but seems to charge ok. The screen was in great condition, and had a thin stick down screen protector on it. The screen protector does not go edge to edge on the screen, so there is a small gap on both sides. So far this has not been a problem swipe does not seem to be affected. Battery life seems ok so far. Was at 97 when I received it, used it a lot that day and the next morning it was down to 48. The phone activated on metropcs with zero problems. It seemed a little dim until I went to the brightness setting and saw that was set at about 14 of the brightness. When I adjusted it up, it got extremely bright It did not come in the factory box, but seemed to be packed well enough to prevent damage in shipping. Time will tell, but so far this phone has worked well.

Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB smartphone black offers incredible communication experience alongside insane entertainment. The dual SIM galaxy mobile runs on Quadcore 2.15GHz 1.6GHz Kryo processor and is based on Marshmallow Android 6.0 OS to power your needs perfectly. Storage and memory needs are met through 4GB RAM and builtin storage of 32GB with an extendable option upto 200GB via micro SD slot. Display and design it is breathtaking. This is the real beauty. It is amazing to hold, light weight, brilliant display. You cannot expect anything better. Super amoled display of Samsung is still the best display. QHD resolution is cherry on the cake. You will love it.Camera s7 has arguably the best camera of 2016.google pixel is also awesome. But considering we have to pay almost 14k extra on google pixel in India, I do not think it is worth it. So better go with s7. It has amazing camera performance in both artificial and low light conditions too. So unless you are a professional photographer, you will be amazed by the camera performance.

The s7 with marshmallow meets almost all my expectations in a smart phone. The OS is fast, easy, and beautiful., and the screen and camera are gorgeous. They battery life is long and charging is quite quick. The multitasking with the app pop outs with the new OS processor is responsive and intuitive. The phone itself is very aesthetically pleasing and the shape feels awesome in the hands. The metal and glass body is quite slippery and prone to smudging though, but this design choice is all the rage with main manufacturers of smart phones anyway. Another concern with these materials is heat and shock absorption. Im pleased to report, save from fast charging and heavy use, the phone remains quite cool and it never really is an issue, but Id definitely get a case. The slight curve in the screen is somewhat of an issue with some screen protectors at the moment, but I imagine the manufacturers ZAGG will figure it out soon enough. My only other gripe is that the phone has had an issue with audio in the software, particularly use of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Im not sure if this common, but you may need to toggle the UHQ audio upscaling setting in sound to fix issues with static sounding playback. Overall, the s7 is a accessible, reasonably tough, and fast phone that I would recommend to any smartphone lover, be it the enthusiast or the layman. Its quite fair to say that this is one of the best phones Samsung has made to date.

First off, I love my Samsung S7 phone The screen is a great size for my hands and pockets, and also packs a wonderful screen resolution to boot. The phone is fast, responsive, and great at multitasking without getting overly hot to the touch.Charging this phone is extremely fast because of the Fast Charging feature With both the fast charging USB wire charger and the Fast Charge wireless pad. As a note, I have a Otterbox Defender Series and the wireless pad still charges my phone from 10 to 70 in about 40 minutes The battery life of my phone while playing games on it for most of the day still lasts me all day, and without playing the games I can get around 2 days of normal use before I have to charge it.Features are what you expect from a galaxy phone. The back Camera is wonderful and takes pictures extremely fast. I can take 3 photos within slightly over half a second and the quality of the photos is top notch The front camera is also great for taking selfies. The touch screen is very responsive and easy to use. The built in speakers are okay for a phone, but arent capable of producing deep sounds like in some music. The SD card slot makes a return which is a great thing for those of us that like to never delete anything cough coughApp use on this phone is pretty straight forward. It comes with all the standard android apps with a few Samsung ones, yet isnt horribly full of bloatware. The biggest complaint I have with this phones apps, is surprisingly with the camera app. I am unable to use the built in flashlight while taking pictures like I could with my S5, which I used quite a lot. If you are able to use the flashlight while taking pictures I have yet to find out how.Overall I still love this phone and will use it for years to come I rate this phone a solid 4.5 out of 5 stars for the flashlight issue I have mentioned above mind you it work fine on my S5 and the price of the phone, as its pricey when bought without a contract from a provider,

I purchased the S7 with hopes of a better battery life over the Galaxy S6. Unfortunately I have not experienced what I would consider worthy of the upgrade. With them both at a full charge my S6 says 9hrs and 50 mins battery left, my S7 says 13 hrs 10 mins. Using the device they both come to about 8 hrs or so. I have Marshmallow on both and have set up all my apps for instant battery save. I used the S7 for the first 2 days without downloading any of my apps I have on my S6. I have seen friends with the S7 from different carriers who are getting 15hrs to 20hrs on their S7. Im not sure if I have a bad unit or its the signal drain. The S7 feels great in the hand. I prefer this design more so than the S6. The curved back make it real easy to hold with one hand doing one hand operations. With the glass back it does attract more finger prints and oil making the phone slippery after prolonged use. The home button is also flatter making using it as well as the fingerprint lock screen very efficient.I have read reviews on the S7 camera being better in low light vs the s6. I have not noticed any huge difference. I have taken pictures with the 169 16mp ratio and also the 43 12mp ratio on the S6 and the quality appears to be the same but I was only looking at the pictures from the respected phone screen. Both take great low light photos especially with the flash turned on so this was also the same on both phones to me. I also noticed they added a live photo feature in the settings on the S7My S6 is the 128gb and I have a 64gb sd card in the S7. Using the Samsung Smart switch made moving items from one phone to another phone easy as long as they were below the phones internal 32gb memory. I did not find a way to move the items to the card directly. For example I have 18gb of pictures and when I first moved them they went to the phones memory. I then had to use the file manager to move them to the SD card. I have 20gb of music on my S6 which will require me to use a computer to place on the SD card which is an extra step. Also trying to find apps that can be moved to the memory card is cumbersome. You have to go through each app in the app manager and hope it is one that can be moved to the SD card to save you on memory.Overall I like the S7 but it has not won me over my S6. The S7 Edge might have but I am not a fan of phones larger than this 5.1 screen. I will be exchanging the phone to rule out the device and if anything changes I will update my review. If it remains the same I will be forced to take this back as there isnt anything better than my S6 other than the comfort of holding it. Water reaistants is not a hughe factor to me. If you are coming from the 32gb S6 or any other phone I would highly recommend the S7 especially for the SD card addition. Those who have a higher gb will find it frustrating to get all your stuff from one device to the next. The wireless charging is beautiful on both phones as I have one on my night stand and in my office so I hardly ever use the plug.

I bought a Samsung Gallaxy s7 from a different service provider and I had the same issues in my s7 as are being mentioned here, like the screen developing a layer of darkened screen that would throb like a strobe light. I tried living with it but it only got worse until 3 quarters of the screen had a sequence of screen partitions each one darker that the rest, starting lighter on the bottom and getting sequentially darker as it progressed upward. I finally invoked the warranty that came with the phone which I paid full price for. I knew instantly I had been given a used phone as a replacement. this one had auditory issues and everyone complained they had an echo on their end and could barely understand my speech unless I was using ear phones. my replacement phone also flips shows on me. spend way too much time trying to get back to my original program. so I got used to wearing ear phones constantly because otherwise I had such low volume on my end I could barely hear anything on the phone calls, music, movies, news shows the audio was so reduced I could barely hear unless the buds were in. My SP said it wasnt the phone but that I needed to reconnect to the network. I went through that process and it helped for a while but the problem came back very quickly. I went back to my sp and this time we did the network reconnect and the old echo problem was still there. even the dis and reconnect was not working anymore. Basicly they said I would have to replace the phone at my own expense because the warranty on my original phone had runout. it didnt matter that they had misdiagnosed the problem initially, causing me to keep trying to solve it by disconnecting and reconnecting and thereby running out the clock and my first phone warrenty… and I even pay insurance So for over 600.00 I had a partially working Samsung gallaxy s7 for one year and an unlimited data plan that throttles me even on the first day of the billing period. the phone service of every major carrier seems to be having major problems and everyone in my building agrees the service is bad regardless of the provider. doesnt seem to be curtailed to just the less expensive sp or phone manufacturing all are showing signs of poor service and shoddy phones. pretty sad state of affairs.

This is the best phone Ive ever owned I havent owned a Samsung phone since before smart phones were around. This phone has everything I need and more. It has ample on board memory to store all of my movies, documents, music, and pictures. And in the event the on board memory isnt enough I can expand the memory with a MicroSD card. Still learning some of the functions. It is an expensive phone but thats understandable for what you get. It has a very sturdy feeling metal body and a very powerful processor. I can switch between multiple apps with no lag. Videos bugger in seconds. The 4k video camera is crystal clear, even in low light. That goes for the 12 megapixel camera too. The only drawbacks Ive noticed with the phone are that the shiny body is a fingerprint magnet, but it wipes off very easily. I also would prefer for the mini USB port and headphone jack to be on top of the phone instead of on the bottom, but hey, those being my only two complaints, this baby is worth every pennyNot that this is a review for the gear vr, but I purchased that as well and the two products work very well together. I saw a lot of reviews that stated that the users wished the gear vr had its own battery, however it does have a charging port on the side that significantly reduces the amount of battery drained from the phone. Now it just needs more appsHope this review is helpful.

Well I waited a year later to finally give my full experience review on the Samsung Galaxy s7 Tmobile SMG930T. Well I gave The Samsung Galaxy S7 a 5 star review because my experience with the Samsung Galaxy S7 has been amazing so far. The standard model has a 5.1 inches, with 71.5 cm272.1 screentobody ratio. The Samsung Galaxy s7 has Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 16M colors display. You have to try the phone out for yourself to fully understand how great the phone itself is in all aspect, but the display on the S7 is simply flat out stunning and gorgeous. Keep in mind if youre buying Samsung Galaxy S7 in 2017 I recommend that you either buy a used or new Samsung Galaxy S7 not a refurshied or repaired Samsung Galaxy S7 because refurshied phones tend to have fake battery that arent safe and used other fake components that make the user experience terrible. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is still a killer device in 2017 because the cameras take great stills and the promode on the Samsung Galaxy S7 is still one of the best in the busniess. If you like to shoot in auto all the time and you dont like vivid satured colors then the Samsung Galaxy S7 isnt for you. Also The Samsung Galaxy S7 uses fast charging 2.0 but supports fast charging 3.0 but Samsung has limited the charging speed to prevent overheating problems and promote safety from not allowing users to overcharged their phone overnight. Now lets talk about the phones performance… does the phone lag or slowdown overtime from my personal use my phone hasnt slow down or has been buggy, however, keep in mind that the user experience various with s7 models because Samsung uses different components in their phones based on the region, carrier, and country. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 from Tmobile which has a Snapdragon processor but the international model use a Samsung Exynos processor instead. Furthermore, certain u.s model of the S7 have more installed apps that come right out of the box installed inside the phone but that can be recover if you installed an app such as Adhell. Removing bloatware and properly optimizing the phone can improve the phone performance and prevent the phones performance deteriorating for overtime.

The new Samsung Galaxy S7 combines several of the best features of several of its recent models and found a winner better equipped to do battle with the fruit phone lineup. Many consumers looking forward to Galaxy S6 were disappointed to find they had to pay extra for more memory. The S5 model was expandable to whatever could fit onto a micro SD card, despite its modest 8GB internal memory. It was a significant advantage and a selling point advantage over competitor counterparts as was its removable battery. Those who passed over the significant improvements in the S6 models, including higher resolution display, increased speed, improved design, and better aesthetics, were eventually rewarded with the arrival of the S7. Like the S5, this phone is water resistant to several feet of water for up to a half hour. In addition to its 32GB of internal memory, the S7 will allow a micro SD card expansion. This also allows for easier shopping when you only have to pick your color and whether you want the Edge or not.Unfortunately the S7 did not return to the removable battery found in the S5 version. One might be disappointed if a fan of the S series Active models. They didnt make it into the lineup for the 7s. Fortunately the improved durability and waterproof design integrates some of their advantages.Judging by the S7, Samsung is listening to its customers and there will be plenty to look forward to with generations to come.

I just broke the screen on the front and back of my galaxy s7. I have had this phone for many years. It only broke because I didnt have my Spigen Slim Armor Case w Kickstand Cover on. I live in middle of no where so I can not get fixed at the mall. So I shopped phones and found out all the other phones are super expensive so I bought another galaxy 7 from straight talk for 150 shipped. I love this Phone because Im able to use it with one hand. I have never had issues so I figured I cant go wrong. I would love to get sent a phone from influenster to review. I buy the 1 month plan from straighttalk and then I use wifi and free apps for talking texting. Id rather pay 0 than 70 a month.

This is my third Samsung Galaxy S7, and the S9 was already out when I got my first one. Has the old USB connector for charging which I wanted, and takes a micro SD card for more data. Dropped one and broke the screen, got another, that one the battery swelled and bent out the back, got this one. Not all the features of the newest, and refurbs are always a bit of a crapshoot, but this one has been fine for me.

Well its not possible for me to review the product because the one I bought from vipoutlet turned out to be an LG phone that was sent to me. While vipoutlet fully refunded my money it was stilla major inconvenience. As for the actual phone which I suggest you spend in my case 30 more to buy a brand new one sealed in the box. The real phone is incredible for it being a few models behind. Its still plenty fast enough and not only has good internal storage it can hold up to 256 more GBs on a microSD card. I specifically wanted a Tmobile version to use on the Straight Talk network. The Tmobile version is much less bloated than the others. It takes awhile to install all the updates but you should wind up with Android 8 Oreo after you have all the updates. Mine started out of the box with Android 6 i believe. Great phone especially if your smart enough not to shell out a fortune for the newer devices.

This S7 is an older model Samsung flagship mobile phone, which I upgraded to from a much much still older model the S4. At the time I bought it the current equivalent model is the Samsung S10e. The S4, S7 and S10e are the same modest size, smaller than the much larger more popular form factors being sold today. As a many many years long happy user of the S4, I generally like the S7 I just switched to. The pros Nice clear display, 32 GB twice that of the S4 of internal system board storage, and a more recent Android version ver 8 as opposed to ver 5 that is compatible with most current app software. The cons Unfortunately the greedy, cynical phone making companies … including Samsung… now have all followed the lead of the vermin at Apple, and no longer make high end phones which allow the user to easily remove, replace, or upgrade with a higher capacity battery. Additionally this means that in some cases of software crashes you have to take your phone to a repair shop and pay LOTS of money, where before with the S4 it took me under 30 seconds to without using any tools open up the phone, pop out then in the battery, and get it thus to do a full cold reboot and wake up up working just fine. The rationalization given for this universal cynical strategy of enforced obsolescence is that it allows the phone maker to make the phone more water proof. But an honest company would give users a choice of a high end phone optimized EITHER for extreme waterproofing OR for easy end user battery replacement. Ive never had my phone compromised by immersion in water in 6 years of use, so do not care about extreme waterproofing, but do care a lot about getting access to the battery.

Although it was not perfect, I was a big fan of the Galaxy S6. Beautiful screen, fast processor, nice design, excellent cameragreat phone overall. The one thing I wasnt crazy about was the battery life. Im not a demanding user by any stretch, but that phone struggled to get through the day. Although fastcharging helped, it wasnt fun being afraid the phone would die on me at any time. I always felt like I had to carry a backup charger. So when I heard about the design and features of the S7, I was very excited. Number one for me was the larger capacity battery, but I was also glad to hear about the water resistance and other upgrades, like the expandable memory, better lowlight camera and AOD. None of these was earthshattering, but all were solid improvements, albeit incremental in some instances. At first I hesitated since I had to buy out my contract and surrender the old phone, but after some consideration I decided to take the plunge. Its been several weeks now and the decision has worked out very well, Im pleased to say. I really liked my S6, but I love the S7. Its everything I need and then some. Its handled everything Ive thrown at it without a stutter. The battery seems to last forever, and the other new or improved features deliver as promised. Im very happy and strongly recommend it to anyone in the market. Whether to upgrade from the S6 is a personal decision, but I certainly dont regret it.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is still plenty fast for todays applications and has enough internal storage to be able to hold the apps. It will accept up to a 256GB memory card to be able to hold nearly anything you would need on a mobile device. I prefer the TMobile Unlocked version so that it can be used with other carriers yet Tmobile doesnt over bloat the phone with apps out of the box that you dont need or use. The best thing about purchasing older model phones is that you can save a fortune and you dont have to deal with a million bugs that havent been worked out yet. In my opinion at this moment this is the best phone model to have.

I bought my first phone over 3 years ago it was amazing. I forgot it in the rental car in Europe I was so upset. I bought a new one when I got home Dec 2018. it worked great. January this year the phone does not work that well anymore its slow. I doesnt show 3g or 4g anymore. I have taking everything off it and reset the phone it still slow and doesnt work. Im gonna have to start looking into buying a new phone. Might have to go with a contract phone .

The phone is great The new Android OS is fast, very responsive with the Samsung hardware. The screen is bright and crisp and very responsive. I love the fact that it came with an adapter to transfer the programs and data from my old phone, very convenient. The controls are conveniently located and the home buttonfingerprint scanner works a lot better than my old S5. The sound is clear and crisp for both calls and audio from music and video playback. The video playback is smooth and hidef. Streaming is smooth and doesnt overburden the hardware, of course your results are dependent on your wifi or data provider. The exterior is nice, though I put mine in am Otterbox case right away so it doesnt really matter much to me. The camera is spectacular. The change in the aperture is very noticeable in low light, the pictures are almost as good as my DSLR. Havent taken any video yet, but expect it to be good too. The way the programs are listed is still taking me a little to get used to, but that is the OS, as are some of the other changes. The only thing I wish that was different was that Samsung had taken advantage of the ability to expand the system memory to the SD card. You can still move programs to the SD card, but it is still a different space as far as the OS is concerned. That and a removable battery and this phone would be perfect. I still highly recommend it.

I tend to upgrade phones about every year as I push the performance and battery life to the limits. I had been using a Nexus 6p the other cutting edge Android phone for a couple of months prior to switching to the Samsung Galaxy S7. I ended up giving the 6p to my wife as she needed a new phone and my employer was offering to get me a new company phone. The Nexus 6p wasnt an approved corporate device so I had no choice but to go with an s7.I had the original Galaxy and have switched between Nexus and Galaxy devices over the years. The last Galaxy device I had was the s4 which was a disappointment. There were no appreciable improvements in the s4 from the s3 and that turned me off from Galaxy devices. While I do still prefer the pure Android experience, I can say unequivocally that Samsung has upd their game. TouchWiz used to be the first thing I removed usually going with Cyanogen ROM. But with the s7 and the new version of TouchWiz, I actually find it quite useful. A few of my favorite interactions double click home button for camera, twofinger swipe down for all quick settings, hold home button for Google Now on tap. There has been much talk about multiwindow functionality but I personally dont find it that useful… maybe on a tablet. The fingerprint scanner is the home button. This is a much slicker design than the Nexus 6p which requires you to awkwardly press you finger on the back of the phone. The s7 also has some health tracking features that I wasnt even aware of. The s7 has a heartrate sensor built in on the back of the phone and the phone can also function as a pedometer to track your steps if you keep it in your pocket. Bonus you can use the heartrate sensor as a shutter button when taking selfies. As I mentioned, I tend to push performance and batterylife. While the s7 does seem to perform onpar or better than the Nexus 6p, for me the battery doesnt last quite as long only 1012 hours compared to the 1516 hours I was getting out of the 6p. And even with the quick charge capability, the s7 still doesnt charge as fast as the 6p did. That may have something to do with the Nexus 6p adopting the new USBC interface.

Coming from the IPhone, which at this point is kind of a creepy walled garden where everything is Apples way or the highway, I like the Android OS MUCH better. Still some quirks and annoyances, but other ways to do things when you hit them, and not as many as on the IPhones, and the hardware seems much better all around. The Galaxy S7 has a little different strategy for power… its hard to tell for sure since this is still a new phone to me and is pulling lots of updates, but it does appear to be using the battery a bit faster. However, it also charges the battery much faster. In general I think this is a net gain, especially with decent sub 20 wireless charger pads all over ebay and amazon, and a simpler limitation to live with then a slower to discharge but slower to charge phone. But there may be circumstances where it is a limitation. I also think this Samsung S7 is more honest about the battery. When it says 30 left, there is 30 battery left. When my IPhone said 30 left, it was time to panic, as it could drop to 0 in a heartbeat. So the Samsung battery may last just as long, it just lies less then the IPhone and it will take me a few months to learn to trust after years of Apple lies and broken promises. Android also has far more rational security controls. Apple has made a lot of changes designed to keep the FBI from being able to get into your phone, even with a warrant. Thats fine if you want it, but Apple has forced that default on everyone. Android lets you have a more rational balance between invasive and painful security controls versus the value of your data. They leave room for a rational medium level security for medium level risk. The one I got was overstock for about 235, and for that, this thing is an insanely good value at the moment. It wasnt new in box, it came in a non factory box, so I dont think it was quite new old stock like advertised, but if there was any sign of use on it, I couldnt find it. It was absolutely perfect. Ill use it for a couple years as my main phone, then maybe retire it as a dedicated dashboard engine monitor or something, which I will be able to do because its a more open system that I I can only add or modify if it pleases the king Apple.

Prior to purchasing this phone, I had the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. When I bought that phone, I was very excited by its design and improvements. However, I soon learned that the Edge feature brought only minimal differences between the regular S6 model, and the Edge feature prevented the phone from being comfortable in ones hands. Fast forward to last month where I bought the Samsung Galaxy S7. I must say, this phone has improved on its predecessors immensely. First, the design of the phone is beautiful. The curved design and the colors used really highlight the definition of the phone. Though this has me down as having a gold phone, I actually have the black version, and the back of it is beautiful, I like to admire it. The front coloring is beautiful too. Going with a different shade of black really gives it its own unique identity. Next, the fingerprint scanner has improved so much, I must applaud Samsung. The speed it takes to recognize your finger is 10x faster than last years models. Android is Android and it works beautifully, especially the new Marshmallow OS. Finally, the camera is to die for. When I first heard that the camera was to be 12MP, I thought why would they reduce the pixels. Only later did I find that it uses a dual pixel feature and the photos produced are of the highest quality Ive ever seen. The detail is rich and brings to life your pictures. Overall, this is a must. I have no negatives because there are none that I have found but I do recommend going with the standard S7 if the Edge doesnt fit your needs.

Pros Large good quality screen on a slim small tablet. Quick responses. Good fingerprint recognition, face recognition not so good.Cons No option to have a more densely populated home screen would be good. Even small widgets take up huge areas. Ive got almost as many 5×7 on my phone as on this tablet 6×6.

My husband and I bought these in January of 2017. He was switching from the iPhone but I was sticking true to the galaxy products. We got them on a great deal from Verizon so we were sold. Right away I loved it. I preferred the size of this over the s7 edge because it was smaller and fit better into my hands. The interface is more or less the same as the other galaxy products. My husband did need some time to get used to the functions and such but eventually he loved it and has since said that he will never go back to Apple. It has plenty of storage and you can always buy a s card if you need more so no worries. The camera is flawless and takes high quality photos. I get asked often what I use for my pictures and they are shocked to find out its from my phone. We went straight to best buy to get cases and screen protectors and the only thing I was kind of bummed for a second about was the geek squad put my screen protector on and he said that with the s7s the tempered glass protectors do not go on completely and doesnt form a seal if that makes sense. So there is about a cm around the entire phone where you can tell it doesnt go flush with the phone, kind of like an air bubble. But Ive had it on for almost 2 years and havent had any problems with the protector or anything. My husband and I were just discussing the other day what we would do when our upgrade was available and we decided to keep these while they lasted because we loved them so much.

I love my Samsung Galaxy s7, its so easy to navigate, and fits perfectly in my hands. I love the palm swiping screenshot ability and the picture quality is really amazing. I have yet to take a bad quality photo with this device, even in dark lighting. I can search the web quickly without any dragging and have downloaded many apps and it still runs like its brand new. Lastly, the battery life of this Samsung S7 is AMAZING, it can get me through an entire day without needing to be charged. This device is what turned me into a loyal Samsung customer for life. I totally recommend this device to anyone. Whether you use your phone for business or personal use, this phone will meet your needs.

I was in dire need of a new mobile device after 5 years of owning a Galaxy Vibrant. I truly did not want to upgrade but slow internet, app opening and message receiving clearly was warning me that this phone was going to crash sooner than expected. After reading other reviews on Ebay and my Mom owning a Samsung S7 I was convinced this was the best choice for me. The apps and settings are very easy to navigate and it takes less than 30 minutes to customize the cell according to my daily lifestyle. The battery life is very low. It is literally dying by the minute. So its safe to invest in a wireless charger and they can be purchased anywhere for a reasonable cost. Im able to get on the web to listen to my fave music and news radio stations wherever I go. The camera is flawless…its like taking photos with a Nikon camera. The seller offered a 90 day warrantywhich came along w the phone along with the ALREADY 30 day warranty if phone cracks, does not work, etc. It is a new cell in the box, all new accessories and unlocked for an amazing price. So far its a great purchase

Just like the Chromebooks that I reviewed the Samsung Galaxy S7 is the best smartphone Ive ever owned and the most durable phone I have ever owned. I work in Water dept. City utilities. And this phone has been swimming with me more than once. Not on purpose but I have to admit that it has been submerged at least a half a dozen times when Ive been working in this phone is still kicking Im using it right now to write the review of this phone. It might not have the topoftheline camera out or the the biggest screen size or the longest battery life but this phone in my opinion is one of the best still out there. If you have a decent case on your phone then this phone will hold up just fine.

I really love the new S7. Samsung brilliantly brought back the MicroSD card slot so that I can carry tons of my own music or files with me without having to spring for a ridiculous amount of internal phone memory. However, they went from a replaceable battery to one that is built in. Im one of those people that really tries to get a lot of mileage out of every phone I purchase, and every other phone has required a battery change before its life was over. I fully expect that the S7 will need a new battery at some point.I hedged my bet to some extent by opting for extended servicedamagetheft protection. When my battery finally does expire, Im hoping that this makes the repair or replacement process a bit less painful.Otherwise, I LOVE this phone. Its fast, has and amazing display, all kinds of connectivity options, and when used with headphones, sounds fantastic. Unlike my old S4, it doesnt overheat if I try to listen to music and run Google Maps at the same time. It seems to run very, very cool. So, Samsung, you very nearly hit a home run with this phone. If you would only recognize that batteries do in fact have an earlier end of life than most components, and put in a replaceable battery, this would have been an all 5start rating. Its still a very, very good phone, and I trust that it will serve my needs well for at least the next few years. And once again, kudos for bringing back expandable storage. That was a key reason I did not buy an S6, and I very nearly switch to a competitors phone instead of Samsung before hearing about the pending release and features of the S7. Glad I waited.

As a pocket computer the Galaxy S7 is solid. Im generally happy with the purchase. I only have two complaints 1. Network Cell Info Lite app reports a cell signal strength about 10 dBm lower than my old Nexus 5 everywhere I go. At home, the signal strength is just barely usable. So the cell radio in the Galaxy S7 appears subpar to me. 2. The Samsung Camera app uses way too much sharpening. After the good reviews the Galaxy S7 camera received, I expected gorgeous photos. The camera hardware appears to be quite good, but they ruined the software with all the sharpening. I cant find any way to adjust this in the default camera app. There are a couple thirdparty camera apps, such as Camera FV5 and Snap Camera that let you adjust the sharpness. Ill probably pick up one of those after I experiment a little more.

What a change, going from a Samsung Galaxy 4 to the Galaxy 7 and Galaxy 7 Edge I didnt know what I was missingWhile the first S7 I received had I believe a defective battery and was returnedexchanged for a new one, the battery life is truly amazing and lasts until evening It was disappointing that the expected battery life wasnt there on the first phone I received. However, now that I have exchanged it, the battery life truly is awesome I love the fast charging feature, just give it just enough juice if Im in a crunch for timeGreat idea having the SIM card and SD card slots all in one.The display is magnificent Pictures, colors, videos brilliantThere are many functions that I havent even had time to figure out, set or play around with. Im sure it will take me an IT person some time before I find all of the features of this new phoneThe camera is great Beautiful pictures, with a variety of modes. The Virtual Shot is very interestingLove the Always On feature. Even though many say to turn this feature off to save battery, I feel that your battery will use MUCH more juice, lighting up your entire screen with the brilliant colors and light every time you open your phone just to check the timeI dont care for the Calendar as I have not been able to set the snooze to a specific time i.e., snooze for 5 minutes, snooze for 10 minutes, snooze for 30 minutes, etc., like I was able to do on the G4. The function may be there I just havent found it yetI dont like that the speaker is in the lower right cornerbottom of phone. Typically I only use one hand with my phone when Im holding the phone with my right hand, my pinky finger bracing the bottom, it covers the speaker. Reducing and sometimes garbling the sound. I would suggest the speaker at the top.Other suggestions give the messaging app the capabilities of more personalization, along with delay sending for those of us that seem to send texts to the wrong people, or notice misspelled words after message has been sent That would keep us from wanting to download third party apps. But Im loving my new Samsung Galaxy 7 and 7 Edge

I bought this phone because mine had a broken camera lens and would have cost too much to repair it. This newly purchased used one works perfectly even though it has quite a bit of cosmetic damage. But since I keep it in a full wallet style case, the cosmetics dont even show. I am very pleased to get a good working phone for a lot less money than my old one would have cost for repairs.

Amazing phone compared to any phone Ive used in the past. Tons of storage space and great size. It isnt one if them giant phones you can barely hold onto to but its also big enough to watch videos on. Lightning fast charging capable of giving you a full charge within 12 hours. Tons of new and updated features, amazing camera quality. I could go on forever. I have always loved Samsung products and this is no exception. We purchased this phone to use with the Straight Talk cellular service after using the Galaxy 5 for about five years. As of now, we are on year three with this phone and it is still going strong. I love Samsung products because you dont have to upgrade every year unless you just want to. This is one of Samsungs flagship phones from a couple of years back. Has almost every feature of the latest generations top of the line. It feels good in the hand. Smooth and well balanced. The processor is very fast. Loads things in a blink. Animated images run smoothly and with no stuttering. Even small details are clear on this screen and thats in the HD setting. This phone will show 4K. The camera is very good for a smart phone, even in the auto mode. Same with the video, which it can take in up to 4K resolution. I run it in high performance mode and still have charge left in the battery at the end of the day. Of course, that will depend on the type of usage and data connection. The sound is pretty good with the earbuds that come with it, but Im sure it would be much better with high end buds or good headphones. The included buds do have a phone mic and buttons to control the phone and other audio, on the right side wire. All of this works well. Being factory unlocked for this phone allows it to be used with GSM or CDMA carriers so it works no matter which carrier you choose. The memory can be expanded up to 256 GB plus there are portable wifi drives if you need more. Not likely unless you do a lot of video This phone has an FM chip thats turned off. Thats easily remedied with a free app, so you can access over the air broadcasts, to cut down on some data usage. Otherwise, load a few thousand of your favorite tracks on your memory card with room to spare. One drawback is that the battery isnt removable. Once it starts to fade youd have to deliver it to a shop with the right skills and tools to access it without damaging the case or the integrity of the sealing system. Even then, these glued in batteries are tricky. Kind of a shame with a phone like this that most people would find more than adequate for long term use. Better pick up a good case because this phone is glass, front and back. Theres a lot more to this phone than I have the patience to type here. Mostly good and very little not.

The only application that kept me hanging on for as long as I did with the S7 was the Camera. The different modes to capture photos were absolutely fantastic However, that was the only thing and it wasnt enough to convince me that it was a great phone.I spent two and a half weeks with the device learning the new features with the latest iteration of Samsung and was left wanting. Some of the Advanced Settings werent really a game changer that most phones come out with I wasnt awed, I wasnt even impressed.Unfortunately, everyone I switched back to the iPhone I think the S7 is an incredibly powerful phone, but some areas of the device like GPS and Messaging were incredibly clunky. Im not an amateur when it comes to troubleshootingfixing problems so when I spent close to an hour and a half trying to fix my devices GPS location issues which never got solved I decided enough was enough. Another thing Battery, out of the box the S7 display is set at 2K resolution, no matter if youre just messaging or browsing the web here and there, your battery gets drained. I thought hard on this, while you can change the resolution back to FHD, then HD why in the world would you create a device with an amazing screen where the enduser has to suffer I didnt even know about the 2K display until I got the latest android update which looked like the S8.

The phone lured me in with the Snapdragon 820. The display model in store looked nice. It felt nice in my hand. I picked up the S7 Edge, which was the same size as my previous phone, and decided the original S7 was definitely the one for me.The outside edge of the screen is curved down to the bezel, creating an alluring sensation of increased smoothness because glass clearly has varying levels of smoothness when its fully intact. That said, the phone itself feels grand in either hand the TouchWiz onehanded mode is also pretty nifty. All in all, everything about this phone feels fantastic. US Cellular provides minimal bloat with your phone any they include can be disabled. I do have a Spigen thincase over the phone, as it tends to be a bit slippery with the glass back which also provides that hyper smooth sensation when you caress the rounded areas of the device. And of course, I can run like, a ton of nonsense at once and it doesnt lag. The extra gig of ram over my previous device the S7 has 4gb ram, plus the SD820, really do make this one powerful handset. Im really excited for my Gear VR to appear so I can really utilize the chipset. All in all, beautiful device physically, fantastic hardware powering the device, and if you really dont like the TouchWiz UI you can always use NovaLauncher and customize your icons, app drawer, etc. The best part about it I was not a fan of Samsung at all for the past several years, but Im completely happy with this device.

So far I have only had a few issues. I like the sleek design. I like the themes feature, but it can really make things hard to find or unrecognizable.Water resistant feature was issue when I was in shallow ocean, because the phone would act like I pushed buttons everytime water touched the screen… maybe I can change the sensitivity of touch settings. Not sure. I had trouble charging it, even after I was sure that it had dried out. I even tried blow dryer, still wouldnt work, said moisture in the charging port. Eventually I soaked the phone again, and washed out the charger port with fresh water. I dried it out once again with hairdryer, on mid setting. The phone finally started charging again, but it has been acting slow on some buttons now. Hum Didnt get phone even under 1 foot of water. The VR aspects are amazing, and I bought this phone after playing on my friends S7 edge with Oculus Rift. The edge is hard to get cases for and it is a little too responsive on the edge. I have hard time not clicking wrong things.I am not fond of the button functions on this S7. I would like to know if those can be reassigned or customized. The home button and the button left of it, kind of lagging now and their function isnt what Im used to.The photos are outstanding, and I must say that hands down this is why I buy Samsung. I want 3 more features though, even more control over shutter speeds, Samsung pro version attachments to make my photography zooms clearer, even more mega pixel power, and more professional features, I want to replace all my other cameras, or at least most. The selfie wave to take photos is awesome. The 3d spinning around objects is phenomenal. I love the new levels this provides to an artistic mind.

Ive had my Galaxy S7 for a month now. Overall its a better performing phone than my S5. that being said heres my hits and missesHits improved processing power over the S5I default of 32gig of memory built in ability to store and run apps from the micro SD card thus saving internal storage space which helps improve performance improved waterproofing and elimination of the charge port coverMisses battery life is not improved over the S5, in fact i think its worse. Ive tried many solutions and ideas from the web to help save power but after less than 2 hours off the charge cord and the power is down to 70 or less. This iss with just web browsing and FB…..no videos or streaming. no built in music player seriously All previous Galaxy phones had one. Now you have to dl one from the Play store and these are ad driven and require you to upgrade to a pay version. Not cool.I know the hits outweigh the misses but so far, 30 days in, the biggest gripe is the battery life. I am liking the performance and the fact I dont have to reboot every 46 hours because of processorOS issues that whole LollipopMarshmellow upgrade really was not fun but it comes at the cost of battery life. I guess in the grand scheme, having a more dependable OS I can live with needing to be closer to a charge cord and electrical outlet. So I will give this a 3 star rating. Better battery life would push it up to a 4. But to get a 5 star rating the S7 would really have to go above and beyond the S5…and it just doesnt do that.

I switched over from the Iphone to the Unlocked Galaxy s7. I was really wanting to love this phone but simple issues that shouldnt be there are preventing me from doing so.Before purchasing this phone, I inquired about the unlocked vs locked phone I was assured by the Samsung Sales staff that this phone would fully function with any carrier, especially with Verizon.I am finding out the hard way that the simplest of features such as Verizons Virtual Voicemail is not available for the unlocked Galaxy s7. I cannot tell if and when someone leaves me a voicemail because there is no notification on my phone. I have tried Voicemail apps from the Play store but have been unable to find one to work so far.Samsung says its a carrier issue, Verizon says its a Samsung issue because the Galaxy s7 is unlocked.I am also finding out that the signal strength is lacking as well. Verizon attributes this to being a unlocked phone. The battery life could also be better. Its better than my older Iphone 5 but nothing compared to my wifes new Iphone. It also doesnt charge as fast as they claim. For the price that you pay and with the available technology these simple issues should not be there. Very disappointed. If it wasnt for those issues I would absolutely love this phone.

This was my work phone from 20172019 until my upgrade last month. I personally prefer bigger phablet models but was amazed that this little phone kept up well. When I got it at work it was refurbished by work, not carrier so I presume it was from 2016 when the model first came out. That in mind, this was likely three years old and still performed well with the exception of the battery. For the last six months I noticed if I didnt charge during work the phone was nearly dead when I left, while my personal phone was still almost full. This is what led me to request an upgrade. I feel the technology was otherwise great and only surpassed by other galaxy products and a few iPhones. Any mid range phone still isnt this advanced yet so overall I think its a pretty good phone if youre interested in something smaller and more affordable than the current line.

I bought the Samsung Galaxy S7 when it first came out for straight talk at 700 and I cant tell you how many times I have woke up late for work because of the inferior speaker that accompanies this phone. You would think for a phone that came out in 2016 at 700 would have the availability for a mobile hotspot well, you can forget about that. It is April 13, 2020 and I just realized that Straight talk offers a 55 plan with 10gb of hotspot data so, I figured after all this time of not being able to use it maybe I could if I got that, Wrong. I bought it and the option for mobile hotspot still doesnt show up in my phone and on top of that I called them to get some info 3 times and even asked to speak to management for a refund on the time card. Customer support told me they were gonna reconnect my call and for some reason i got hung up on everytime. I found it funny when I would look at the hotspot capable phones on the straight talk website this phone would show up. The asking price for this phone now is 149.99 so that gives you a rough idea on how much it cost to make.

I have had Android smartphones from several major makers but this was my first Samsung. Since ATT no longer had an offering from my previous manufacturer, I checked out this Samsung Galaxy S7, pulled the trigger on it, and so far I am loving it. Ive had it about a month. The performance of the phone is snappier even though it is of reasonably close specifications to the phone I had immediately prior. I love the idea of the water resistance and Gorilla Glass 4 as a nice bit of insurance so to speak.I miss the voice app of the previous phone as S Voice isnt quite as globally integrated but its still using a Google backend for recognition and launching most tasks so its mainly a matter of the launching and the fact that the headset isnt relaying the launch command like the previous phone. The display is beautiful and bright. I have the brightness set to about 50 and its fine in all but the brightest outdoor conditions. It can do some automatic adjustments too but I found the default brightness indoors a little dim, but that was an easy slider adjustment right in the basic settings.Im still figuring out battery usage. It seems to drop relatively fast in the beginning of the day and then level off. I have only had one time so far where it didnt make it through a normal days usage. All in all, Im pretty happy.

I had used the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the past, and I was majorly disappointed after a while. The phone ended up losing text messages constantly and it didnt run smoothly most days.I had vowed to go back to iPhone forever. However, when my 6s started having issues with the microphone and speakers within 6 months of having it, I decided that the looked pretty promising, and boy was I right. The phone is smaller than my 6s, but I think that the screen is a reasonable size for most anyone I am 63 and weigh 280 for example. The fact that Samsung is now allowing you to disable most of the junk that comes preinstalled on the phone is great, as I always use 3rd party apps for everything. The Android operating system has improved greatly since I last used it on my S4, and I am very pleased with the speed of it.My only two concerns are how well some games run on the S7 compared to my 6s, and the speaker volume and quality. Some games are choppy and lag a bit, which doesnt seem to make sense. I believe this is an inherent issue with the Android operating system, as the OS takes up quite a bit of the 4gb of ram in the phone. The speakers are very quiet, and even when youre connected to a device via Bluetooth, the volume doesnt go as high as it should. Im not sure if this is a Samsung issue or an Android issue, but it is unfortunate coming from someone who loves to listen to audio books and music on a very regular basis. All in all, this device is a great alternative to iPhone. I have converted my girlfriend as well, and even she is loving it, and she hated android phones with a passion.Definitely check it out. I dont regret getting this phone whatsoever.

Right off the bat, I was excited for this phone. Coming from an S5, I was ready for an upgrade and had passed on the S6 due to missing features. Features that Samsung has so graciously brought back to us like SD card expansion and water resistence.Upon picking up the phone, you can defintely feel a sturdy build in your hand, and man is it gorgrous. My phones always live in Otterboxes, but I almost didnt wanna wrap this guy up and hide away its sleek beauty. The curved edges on the back added a nice comfortable grip around the otherwise well polished and smooth exterior of the phone.Bootup times are insanely fast, and the phone itself is super responsive. At one point i had a screen protector and an otterbox case on the phone, and i could still press and control with ease and lightning fast response. Havent really noticed any slow down time, even with a plethora of apps running in the background, most likely due to the smart app power saver feature.Samsung also did a great job with limiting their apps so as to avoid bloating over the phone with apps that are never used, but cannot be removed. Since my phone did come from Sprint, their usual apps were present as well, but tucked away in a folder from the start, so I never have to look at them.Above all else though, I think the newest feature I lovr the most is the Camera. It takes absolutely gorgeous photos in any setting. Even going down from 16mp to 12mp, this Camera is the clear winner.

This phone is amazing. The battery lasts a long time and it will suit all your smartphone needs. I have had this phone for 5 years and the only reason I needed to get a new one was because I had no more memory for apps. You can literally have 60 apps and plenty of memory for fullusage. I personally needed to upgrade because I use more apps. The display is very clear and userfriendly. The phone does not freeze. This device is really well made and can get your through usage for a very long time

This is my second review of this product and I am not nearly so happy as I was when I initially reviewed this phone. In short the phone that I received is not as described on eBAy. In the last three weeks I have leaned that this phone is not as compatible as I was led to believe. I have recently found information that had I known at the time of purchase I may not have bought the Samsung S7 SM930U GSM LTE Unlocked No Carrier phone at all. I certainly would have activated it on the ATT network instead of the Verizon network based on this information. Please see attached photo and judge for yourself. This phone will not connect to Verizons 4G LTE network while using a Verizon Prepaid plan. It connects via 3G only. I dont know if will connect to Verizons 4G LTE network if you use a Verizon Postpaid contract plan because I dont have one.

Ive always loved Samsung products owned tablets, computers, TV, Note series and the S series. Even owned all the watches too.I ordered the S7 because for one its a Samsung and they are pretty indestructible. I travel three to four weeks a months as a datacenter consultant so I need a phone that can provide great power, features, communication, and keep up with my work. I also play hard, Im a cyclist and I mountain, trail, and road ride. For work my S7 has kept up with my calendar, meeting invites, calls, texts, email, everything that I do to make a living and it does it on the go without sacrificing battery life. When I play I dont even put anything more than rubber bumper on my phone and throw it in the back pocket of my jersey. When I received my phone I hooked up my bluetooth headphones, filled the sink with water, and watched a few of my daughters ballet dances with the phone under water. It lived up to the claim just fin without issue. The other day I went trail riding, by the time I got back to the parking lot I was soaked from the rain and the phone had muddy water all over it. I went to the bathroom and rinsed it off in the sink and took a selfie as if nothing ever happened. The expandable storage is awesome, I have a Samsung 128GB MicroSD in and with the ability to move many of my apps off the phones internal memory to the SD card youre pretty much not going to have to worry about space for all your memories or your apps, its also very quick when launching from the SD so dont worry about performance either.Wireless charging, well all I can say is it just works and its awesome. Charges quickly and couldnt be any easier. Simply put your phone on the pad and done, no more flipping the cable over six times before you get it plugged in.Samsung Pay, probably one of the coolest things ever. I love the look on peoples faces when they say we dont accept Apple Pay and I reply Thats ok I have a Samsung, doesnt matter if you take wireless payments or not and I slide my phone like its a credit card and done. I do it all the time and I feel secure doing it because of the way its setup. When you add your card the card issuing company gives your phone a virtual credit card number so if that number is ever compromised your real credit card isnt You cant get much better than that.Overall Im beyond pleased with the phone and it has survived every day falls, bumps, spills, splashes, rain, muddy water, and even a dive into swimming pool. You wont regret this phone. Now Im waiting for my GearVR so I can submerse myself into virtual reality. The screen is so gorgeous and crisp on the S7 that VR should be very realistic. Thanks for the read and do yourself a favor, dont even look at the competition just grab the S7 and call it a day.

Bought this phone, was instantly hooked. I have only two problems with it. 1 Sometimes the slow motion stutters even when set to internal storage why a star was subtracted. 2 The battery life is a little shorter than I expected, but thats only because I previously owned a galaxy j3 luna pro where I could use it for almost 2 days before I needed to recharge it, but it makes up for its battery life by how quickly it charges. I havent had the change to by a wireless charger for it, but I was able to test the wireless charging on a wireless mobile charger in a store. It worked even through the charger was still in its packaging fail on the charger. The phone it self is very fast although it does get a little hot after a while. My favorite feature of all is the 1440p oled display. I never had a oled screen before and i was blown away. for the ten people who do not know, on a oled screen black is actually black not a dark color like lcd screens.

Purchased with screen burn. I am pleasantly relieved it functions as any other smart phone would, only with a slight tint of ghost images on its background. Battery life span is average for use. Battery is non removable. Has its card slots on the side which requires a key or earring backing to unlock. Will update if any thing else comes top mind. Have used a month now and Im satisfied with its performance.

I have had three S7s over the last year. That says something by itself when I dont normally have phone problems, but the S7s beauty does not mean it is tolerant of abuse. The first was lost to a drop from a shirt pocket onto concrete. No surprise. The second was a four inch drop onto asphalt. Surprise. Didnt think that would be an issue with a tempered glass screen protector, but it was just enough to be annoying.Love the display. Love the apps. Love almost everything about the phone it really is a good phone, people can hear you and you can hear them even under difficult circumstances. Connectivity is as good as anything else, and the phone has cellular network contact when others do not. Love that.My only reason for giving the device less than perfect marks the screen is too sensitive. I pull it out of my pocket even with the pocket protection feature turned on, and it is doing things I never asked it to do. If I hold it in my hand, I will get button presses when I am not even contacting the screen. My S5 had a setting to change this sensitivity, but the S6 and S7 seem to have forgotten individual people interact differently with different platforms. FWIW, the fruit devices frequently fail to recognize my touches, taps, and pounds, which is one of the reasons I am a big Samsung fan. My sister has the same issue. For everything it does, and everything is is highly water resistant, sleek design, capable I really overall enjoy this phone. I just bought an S8 today. Hoping Ill be even happier with more screen. Time will tell, and Ill review the S8 after I have some time with it.

This phone is next to useless. I would have better luck with a can and a string. If Im inside my building I cant recieve calls or use the internet. Pretty much the whole reason I bought this phone. The 29 refurbished LG I had before ran circles around this brick. I could receive a phonecall inside my shop while working under a car with my old phone. My employer cant even call me on this phone when we are standing outside within view of the cell tower They can find me with 400 popup ads from something I searched for once two months ago but I cant get and update on facebook status for days on end. I bought this phone for my daughters birthday, which was on July 31st. Mid September not even 2 months later it would shut off and restart randomly, now it wont let you get past the screen lock, it shuts off and restarts, making it completely useless. We took it to a Batteries Bulb store to replace the battery, unfortunately that did not fix it, they suggested its a software issue. The phone wont stay on long enough to do a master restart. Theres no contact info for the seller who I thought was Walmart, but apparently its through the Market place, which provides zero info This is ridiculous I spent 200 for a new phone that didnt even last 2 months. While reviewing other phones on the market before I even considering buying this phone, they seemed lacking and disappointing in there features and usability.Being a iPhone user since 2009 and being happy with my decision until I realized there where phones out there that where not as restrictive and gave more options for you to freely use your smart phone as a smart phone was intended to used. Rather then being told what you can use and what you can not. In return for being restricted in the functionality or simplicity in or feel of the user experience.Switching over to the Samsung Galaxy S7 has been quite the game changer. Siri is no longer in reach by a hold of a button, Notifications work differently in the fact you have to manually customize what you want to see or not on he notification screen, and the apps are usually updated automatically while on WiFi by default. On the upside talking to Google or S Talk and asking to turn on your flashlight was a much noticed welcome among the motion gesture camera, water resistance of the AMOLED glass surrounding body, improved camera focus and low light picture ability, Enabled radio was a surprise, and getting used to the wireless fast charging was exciting no more damaged cords from accidentally pulling on the phone attached to the cord..Moving to the fingerprint reader. It works smoothly and is easily configurable. Samsung pay was a treat. Not being used to paying for items at stores with my phone and its NFC. Using the camera you will notice you can download new functionality such as wide selfie for taking pictures of the group your with without a selfie stick. Live broadcast for when you want to show something in action in real time events or even virtual shot where you can show a object in a 360 degree radius. You can use it as a regular DLSR, Take sports pictures of fast moving objects and many other functionality.

I ordered a Straight Talk Galaxy S7 through Walmart.Com. I currently use a Straight Talk SIM in an unlocked ATT Galaxy S7. I thought that since I already use Straight Talk in my area that a Straight Talk phone would work. I was wrong. The Straight Talk Galaxy S7 works off of Verizon towers in my area and there are no tower. When I called Straight Talk for tech support the first time, they said the phone wont work and have Walmart send me another one. When they second one wouldnt work, they THEN explained the Verizon issue. Buyer Beware

It takes good pictures from front and back with a lot of control features after I found them. As with any App, you have to be careful not to load any with user review issues. It is a really good phone even now that the phone has almost 4 years that it released. It could be a good option it you find cheap enough. The screen is not that big but it is a good want with good colors and it is resistant. The camara is ok for what are you paying. But i think you can find a better one in cheap phone of the year like redmi note 7 or even from Samsung in the series of galaxy A starting from A30 and higher. Things I do not like about this phone. The battery i think is not good or even now since it has 4 years with me. The fast charging it is not that fast. I will pay around the 100 for it

The S7 may not be perfect, but its close enough that you will likely not know the difference. The camera is fantastic, even in fairly low light with enough modes to capture just about anything that you might want to capture. The UI is still touchwiz, like it or hate it, but its closer to stock android than its ever been and its easy to use. The S7 brings back the TF card, thankfully. Even in battery saving mode, the phone is capable of handling even demanding games that brought previous generations to their knees. Sound quality is good. Wifi range seems improved over previous Samsung phones. The screen is unbelievably crisp and bright, yet somehow I still manage to get more than a days moderateheavy usage from the phone. Android Pay, and Samsung pay make it accepted just about everywhere and with the improved fingerprint identification pay at retails stores with the phone is easier than dealing with my credit card. Including an OTG adapter and a set or actually usable quality, comfortable headphones with the phone was also a nice touch. About the only thing I could wish for with the S7 would have been that the speaker be front facing, but I did say it was CLOSE to perfect. After a month of usage as my daily driver, that is the only thing I might complain about, and if that is the only thing you can find wrong with a phone, it really is about as close to perfect as you are likely to get.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 is an incredible phone with enough power to beat any other phone on the market. Its waterproof feature is a great thing to have for lifes little oops moments, I also cannot get over the quality of the SUPER AMOLD display, It is crystal clear and the colors are so vivid and the black is black for a mobile device to have the ability to use a powerful true black display like this and not go through the battery in fifteen minuets is incredible There is one feature however that definitely needs a shout out is the EXTRA VOLUME option for while your in the middle of a call. This is the only phone i have ever owned that I can use on the job and still carry on a conversation. The only issue I have with my device is it seems to be very fragile. I am very upset to say that my Galaxy S7 sitting inside a OtterBox Defender fell from a two foot tall coffee table and the flash lens cover cracked. there is no other damage on this device just that. no damage to the case nothing. I dont show this phone anymore not only because I am embarrassed that my phone has a crack but because I sell these phones as a Cricket Wireless employee and I really dont want our customers to think it is a poorly constructed phone but if it can break this easily it definitely doesnt speak to well for itself. I dont know if I just got a rotten apply or if this is a line defect. All I know is I am a bit disappointed.

I had to switch my note 4, and the Note 5 did not had expandable memory, hence the S7 purchase.Although I miss the screen size, the S7 feels better on my hand and pocket, its light and sometimes I dont even feel it.Two things that would like to change are1. Phone temp gets really hot when doing app. updates or video streaming.2. The integration of Facebook into the operating system, its extremely annoying since it wont sync your contact Facebook pictures and if you turn the battery saving mode, you will have to kill the app and restart the application to get your feed updated.3. Bonus downfall, if you have battery saving mode, any music streaming service will be paused after the initial song is played. I have turn off the pandora setting or the Samsung milk from the battery saving settings, restarted the phone and the apps still stop once the phone goes into idle mode.4. Extra bonus…. speaker gets annoying in your fingers after a while..but I rather the speaker at the bottom of the phone than on its back.Other than this, the images are a good quality, sound speaker at the bottom is much better than the back of the phone. The home button feels so much better, and setting up your fingerprints is easily recognizable.Screen quality is amazingly clear and sharp, love it.If you are clumsy as I am, then the water resistant feature is a plus

Best phone I have owned so far. The display is fantastic and is like looking through a window when I am reviewing photos thanks to the 12MP camera and AMOLED display. I never miss a shot with the amazingly fast auto focus and shutter. Thank you Samsung for giving back the SD card, I would not have purchased it without that function. It gives me the ability to keep whatever I need with me on my S7 without having to carry an external drive. I cant say enough about the water resistance, it handled quite the splash when I was walking by the log ride at my local water park this year. I never saw it coming and my wife did not either. Her fruity phone will no longer work but my S7 carries on. I feel safe with this phone knowing that it is secured with my fingerprint but because I wear my smart watch I wont be bothered by the security when using the smart lock function. It has even completely replaced my wallet, everything from my ID, insurance, car registration and credit cards are on my encrypted S7. It has truly become my go to device for everything. Now if only they would make the S8 with a removable battery door because I really miss how my S5 could keep the thin builtin profile with the addition of the SView Cover.

This is for the GS7 NOT the edge.Love the customization features of this phone, if there is something that I dont like about a current configuration, there is some way for me to go in and change it to make it the way I like. I also love the options and themes that keep the layout of the phone looking new whenever you want a different look. The waterproof aspect is incredibly convenient as well. I love the function of the back button and the display all windows buttons. The added feature to be able to display multiple apps in one window is very usefulWhile I do love the phone, I do have critiques. While i do appreciate the aesthetic appeal of the curved glass screen, I think that it does more harm than good. This being so because almost all users put cases on their phones, and once this is done, it takes away that sleek look that the curved glass offers, even with the GS7. Also, Im reading that its difficult to make a tempered glass screen protector for the phone. When I had my S5, I kept a tempered glass protector on it, broke the screen protector several times, but the phone screen always stayed in tact. Now that the edges curve on the GS7, all of the tempered glass protectors stop at the beginning of the curve, and then you cant use the last 1mm or so of your screen which happens more often than you might think. As a result I am not using a screen protector and have already shattered the glass once. I encourage Samsung to come out with a protector that can adhere to the curved edges of the S7 and S7 edge.Ive also noticed that the phone gets pretty hot sometimes.Everything else, though, is great, and I am in love with the phone.

The phone itself is brand new and unlocked. I already used it in Mexico on ATT network and I am currently using it in Europe with Vodafone network. Works like a charm. The packaging and accessories are new aswell, but are general travel accessories issued by Samsung. However, good quality Longest battery life I have seen so far. Easily 3 days if needed, 2 days if normal use during commute and evening browsing. It lasted a full 12 hours day of excessive usage as a tourist hundreds of photos taken, screenon time 8 hours, GPS navigation, some time on youtube. It still had 18 left when I got back in the hotel. Outstanding built quality. Used it on the beach in sand, had salty water splashes, and washed it in the sink under water jet with no problems whatsoever. The only phone I owned that comes just close to this in built quality, is my former Nokia N8 now, if you dont know how good that phone was, just imagine it was one of the best Nokia phones ever. Overall, I rate this phone as my favorite phone since my old candy bar flip open keyboard phone. The speed of the processorram has never once left me waiting for my phone to catch up to my use and abuse of it.The Camera is lightyears ahead of my Note 4, and way faster in all respects than the Note 4 and S5. I shot video of high speed aircraft, and when paused a plane at 130mph passing in front of me was 100 clear, zero blur.Audio quality is great on phone calls, playback audio is louder than I expected.Battery life is giving me a solid 12 hours without need for charge, no matter what I do screen on and playing games all morning, I can make it to dinner without any issue. The SD Card slot is a game changer from the S6 especially those of us who take a lot of photos.Personally, I am not a fan of the glass back showed every fingerprint, and was difficult to hold onto in my daily life but I put an otterbox symmetry on it, and that is now a nonfactor.Samsung pay is amazing works every place Ive tried that uses a swipe for a card not the push inpull out style, the reader is too far back. Ive made many friends with iphones jealous.Hands down, the best Samsung to date.I wish I could replace the battery, but only because Im hard on my phones.Well see how this new intelligent chargingwireless charging does over the next couple years of use.The always on clock on the screen is very handy, and I love that I can fingerprint unlock OR pattern unlock might be a marshmallow update.1010 easily.

This isnt the phone I bought but it wouldnt let me go back, and it my phone wasnt an option, so this was the closest I could get to my phone. Mine is from Walmart and its the Samsung Galaxy A10E My fiance got it for about 50 on black friday and I think its usually about 150. Its a pretty great phone, has facial recognition, and a bunch of other fun stuff. Its got lots of storage and takes pretty good pics. I do plan on buying a better one, but this one is pretty great especially since I had broken my previous phone and got this one on a whim. I definitely reccomend it if your looking for a good cheaper option.

Getting the Galaxy S7 was my upgrade from the s4. There are things I most definitely enjoy about the S7, one of them are themes and getting to personalize menus, etc. Some of the things Im not a fan of, and Im going to assume they are bugs that need to be fixed When syncing google accounts, its forcing me to look at the contacts of one of the accounts when Ive instructed the settings not to. Unlike the S4, there is no ignore the contacts of someone option. Not sure if its me or what, but Im not able to move apps, etc… to the sd card, this results in pics taken via camera going some place in the phone and not being able to find them in a picture directory. The Power Saving Mode, works so so, but its not customizable, I want to save power, but Id still like to get my notifications, there has to be a middle option here. One of the issues Ive been having is even though Ive deleted a theme, my app icons keep changing to the iconframe design of the deleted theme, very annoying. The last thing I really dont like, it might be small for some, but I REALLY dont like it With the S4 I could skim through my home panels and they would rotate circle right around, the S7 doesnt have that, and it really makes for unnecessary scrolling through the panels my thumb gets tired, and its bothersome.Things I do like Flashlight option in my notifications pull down screen, for that matter, SOOOOO many options to put on that menu I love the concept of themes, Ive missed them from the old days when my cell phone company had them. I love the option to have a night clock showing, or not The battery life is the bomb except when using VR Headset, I like that I can go a couple of days without NEEDING to charge up. The new camera is pretty sweet, gotta say that As a photographer I love the new sensitivity…. but the pro setting is a little pointless. Love the grid for placing appswidgets, and the temp space for moving them around. We got two S7s, hubs got the black one and I got the gold. Samsung, pls pls pls bring back a purple phone They were a great price, and we look forward to technology advances Samsung is always good at

I was so happy with this bundle. UNTIL only a few months later the phone is JUNK. the screen has a line in the middle underneath the line is dark. The top is fine. Some days the dark part is 90 of the screen … but usually just about 14 of the screen every single day…. but when It junped to the top of the screen I cant even use this phone. I paid 300 for this phone, and i have NEVER had any problems like this with a straight talk phone especially while it is still brand new I have not dropped it or anything….. the line just appeared one day while I was using it. And there is no way to contact support or get help with this issue I am SO upset over this.

Disclaimer I am a past user and fan of Android phones, which might skew my review vs a recent iPhone user making the initial switch to Android. Previous to this phone I had an HTC Evo M8, which was a great phone until about the 18 month mark when it slowed down considerably and the battery was so awful that it would go from 100 charge to off in a couple hours, and would turn off without warning when the battery was around 1015. I havent had an iPhone since I had the 5 when it first came out and then got stolen, but from specs and reviews I have read the galaxy S7 is superior to the 6S in almost every way except for the convenience factor of iOS and various perks of being in the iPhone community iMessage, more uniform emojis that come stock, etc. If those arent important to you, Id highly recommend this phone as it is cheaper and supposedly has better battery performance as well.My only complaint is that it is not quite as durable as I had hoped. I did not buy a cover for it the day of purchase because I wanted to do some research on Amazon and find one that was highly recommended and had the features and look that I like. The third day I had it I bobbled it in my hand and dropped it onto a hardwood floor from a height of about 34 feet, and the top left corner of the front of the phone got a little dingabnormality that I would describe as a small bubble under the front bezel. The screen did not get a large crack or anything major, but for a phone that markets itself as being liquid resistant enough to pour champagne on, I would not take any chances with dropping it from any height or getting it wet.

My previous phone was a Galaxy Avant, so to say that the S7 was a huge step up is an understatement. The screen is very good, and very bright when it needs to be. The speaker actually has some midrange to it, no doubt using the speaker somewhat as a sonic inducer to the phone chassis. The processor is very fast, doesnt get hot too easily, and battery consumption is very good, even when playing high performance games. As far as the rapid charging is concerned, OMG While driving, I tested it by having a somewhat depleted battery, and ran Google Navigation, Copilot another GPS app, Waze, AND Pandora at the same time, and it still managed to charge the phone even though the CPU was probably pegged,There are a few things that I would like to see1. The extremely small bezel on the long sides of the screen lends itself to the phone thinking that Im trying to touch the screen, even though its just one side of my finger wrapping around the edge, but it barely interacts with the touchscreen and screws up further touches. Id like to see them make the phone aware of this and ignore those touches.2. Playing some games in landscape is made a little difficult by the power and volume buttons being on the side. I dont want to have them moved to the back or anything, like LG did, but it would be very nice to have a little switch that disables them so they wont interfere with gameplay.3. One more speaker on the opposite side to support stereo sound recording and playback in landscape.4. Bring back the option to select whether an app choice becomes the default, or just for that session. There are certain file types that I like to keep my options open. For instance, sometimes I want to watch a video on the phone, and other times I want to use Allcast to send it to my TV. Right now, Im forced to choose a default, then have to deselect that default by going through the settings menus to the app defaults, scrolling to the app that is the default, and deleting the setting. VERY ANNOYING

I have been slow to upgrade from another brand name smart phone for years but finally that phone kind of forced my hand. I did tons of research as I wanted a really good camera and easy to use features. I had my mind set on staying with the other company since the going to an S7 would be more expensive. My entire family has Samsung and my techie Brother advised me Samsung is the way to go. Since the S7 was now featuring expandable memory for all of my pictures I also dont like the hassle of switching phones I changed my mind since my provider was making the upgrade worth my while. I went to the store and got the phone and I love it.I have never been up close and personal with a samsung phone but this one has won my heart. The screen is great, its bright and clear and at times I think it looks so good it must be fake. The always on display is very handy and the fact that you can toggle it off is great. The phone is easy to use for the most part. I have the platinum gold version and I do like the color but the entire phone is a fingerprint magnet, the screen being the biggest offender.I also wish the phone dialer was default when you hit the phone icon and not the call log. having to look for that little dialer button when you accidentally hide it is a pain as well as not being able to swipe to access the log and contact screen like my previous other brand phone. My biggest problem is that I am always accidentally putting my calls on hold when I hold the phone to my ear with my shoulder. I do wish the proximity sensor would turn off the screen while the phone is up to your ear to keep you from pressing those buttons accidently. The phone pairs fast and easily with my bluetooth devices, and the speaker is decent. The fingerprint reader is fast and accurate and I love that the samsung pay is available. The camera is amazing, it has lots of features and it launches and takes focused pictures at breakneck speed.I love researching and finding new features that I didnt know about. The samsung Theme store is great, lots of nice varied themes available. The processing speed is good, no lag so far. I can make it thur a day, sometimes a day and a half on a charge. The phone is pretty and feels good in my hand. I have small hands so I wanted a phone with a screen large enough to see but not a phone that takes two hands to work with. I had no problem finding cases and a screen protector and I have ordered my Samsung level bluetooth earphones. I have dropped the phone already a few times and have had no problems. My daughter has a fruit themed phone and she is so impressed with my S7 that she is upgrading over to Samsung. I dont upgrade yearly but I am glad to see that there is an app that will make moving stuff from the old to the new easy when that time comes.I am very happy with the phone as well as the support and info Samsung provides thru the website.

Theyve taken out hardware and features over the years that differentiated these models from the competition they attempt to emulate. I thought this would be a nice upgrade from my S6 Edge but soon discovered they removed my favorite thing. The remote was gone from the top of the phone and the Peel app no longer compatible. I travel all the time and liked using it at hotels and different apartments I go to. The Samsung store and Samsung software running along with Playstore and Android software bogs down what could be a speedy phone. Even though my brand new 6S has way less ram and less capable hardware, it is sooo much faster since theyve made the software and hardware work so well together. There are some things I miss, but Ive gained so much more by switching to the 6S. I love how Cupertino pays attention to all the details SAMSUNG misses. While the Samsung design has finally improved and looks amazing, the software is not good one, and Its sad because it could easily be way better than Cupertinos stuff if they just tried to put some effort into it rather than just copying Cupertino and adding waterproofing. Bye Felicia.

Having upgraded from a Galaxy S4 with an S2 previously, I certainly expected many improvements on the S7, but what I found blew my hair back. The ability to login securely with the touch of any number of fingers upon the home button has been an amazing addition that Im sure Ill take for granted at some point, but for now, Im thrilled. Wireless charging, introduced in the S6, is also a nice perk that saves me the hassle of perpetually rebuying microSD cables, the worst connector on the market. I love the sturdiness weight of the phone, which didnt deter me from continuing my streak of using slim, snapon cases for ease of pocket storage. Of course, after accidentally taking my S4 into a pool, I get some peace of mind knowing the S7 is water resistant, a feature I dont intent to test. The SD card slot was a must for me, which is why I skipped the S6. I hoped theyd respond to the inevitable backlash, and my wait paid off. With a 128GB in the slot, I wont be hurting for storage. Now, the camera has been my favorite feature so far. Everything about it is snappy, crisp, and just plain usable. The camera was a weakness on my S4 but is one of the S7s greatest strengths. One caveat I had some intermittent issues with swirliness like oldschool VCR tracking problems with the first few seconds of threequarters of my videos so far. I used different combinations of camera settings, and the problem finally quit for now, but I cant attribute it to any particular adjustment I made. Im hoping its a software bug. Its not serious enough to deter me from recommending it to anyone wanting a workhorse of a phone.

Ive had this phone for almost three years and its still going strong. I love my Galaxy. I would never go back to having an iPhone, I think Samsung is the superior electronics brand. I can pretty much customize my phone however I want. The camera and resolution is fantastic. I can add an SD card if Im low on memory. I probably will keep using this phone for a while longer before upgrading to a newer one because I honestly have no reason to waste money on something I dont need if this one works so well still.

I am a superconsumer of tech gear I adopt early, I buy the best in class, and people expect me to show them a new and nextgeneration toy every few weeks. For wow factor, my S7 Edge is a winner. Cashiers at gas stations ask me about it, friends want to hold it like a newborn baby, and it radiates value. The feature set is equally satisfying. This camera is the best and shoots consistently flawless pics day, night or inmotion are amazingly crisp, dont blur, and seem incapable of producing a bad image in one click. The screen is great, even as I have some adjusting to accept with the slightly smaller screen than my last device. The Android build is light on cramware, very fast, and interaction is tacicly satisfying. The only potential worry is battery drain with tweaking and experience, this may be a nonissue. After fully charging before setting up, and disabling the usual offenders that hit the battery no sync, no GPS, 30sec screen timeout, limited Bluetooth, etc I took my fresh and enabled new S7 Edge for a 30 minute walk. About 20 mins in with moderate use, the battery fell from 100 to 51 and with total strip down minimal use returning home, in those 15 minutes I was down to just 25 left.Several days of different configs have improved things, but when I Approach normal use answering 23 short calls, a few photos, some app use and sending a client 25Mb in files via Box the battery does not seem capable of supporting me for an 8hour day. I wish the battery was removable spares are easy. I fear this wonderful device that I love might not have the stamina to run 6 hours without recharge breaks. I will update as time proves one way or the other on this. If the battery was out of the picture, I would easily declare GS7 Edge bestofmarket across multiple brands, form factors and pretty much anything else on the market or expected by Summer. If you knew how many devices, makers, platforms and carriers I have gone through in 8 years just for data devices, the weight of such a sweeping endorsement would increase several orders of magnitude.

Battery has not been what I had hoped, and can go from 85 charged to 35 in just a half hour or so if playing music or messaging. It has been very easy to reinstall programs, an has done most automatically from backedup cloud files. I have had an S7 for about 5 years, so when mine crashed I looked for an exact replacement. This one has been almost seamless. The worse thing about a new phone is putting all of the old programs on to the new phone, and losing all of the ones you actually paid for vs. the free ones. I havent lost a single one in this switchover. A great value.

I am not knocking off points for this cause the bloatware can be disabled, they just use space in the system partition thus taking space from the overall storage of the phone. My only other comment, Im coming from one of those phones with the fancy name licensed by a film company that was purchased by a mouse with big round ears……. getting around using the actual brand names requires some creativity, Well the previous handset I had had a 3500MAH battery and a finely tuned system for that battery, so the shock of going from 2 days between charges to a phone that lasts a day at most encryption uses a lot of juice Im figuring can be a little disconcerting considering the S7 sports a 3000MAH battery.

Great phone. Absolutely beautiful. Very responsive. Flexible. Its large, but then I came from an iphone 5s which is quite small, so maybe it just seems big. My only gripe is that the battery life is terrible. It can barely make it through the day even if I hardly use it. And charging with anything other than the fast charger pod they give you is glacial. The camera is excellent, but the stock photo app produces highly overprocessed results. I installed Open Camera and the photos are outstanding, so the hardware is excellent. Verizon adds too much shovelware, but I deal with most of it by moving it to the Verizon folder which I never use. Apps are quick, responsive, and a pleasure to use and the external SD card greatly expands the available space on the device. All in all, this is a fantastic phone. If it werent for the battery life, Id give it 5 stars.

Typically the selling price for these phones is 100 on seperate websites. Straight talk provided fair pricing on this with purchase of their no contract plans. Plus it comes with a ninety day warranty. The free two day shipping was also a plus. So a winwinwin in my book.I was amazed to see that my phone was completely new. It had no scratches or even finger prints. If the screenframe was replaced I have no idea. But honestly the S7 looked like it came out of a new box and never used. Only the plastic wrap around the phone was missing. lolAll the accessories of what would be included in a new phone were also included. So power brick, manual, and charging cable. The straight talk activation card and booklet were also included in the box. I was really worried about the storage size as it is not listed in the description. But I was pleased to see the phone I received was the 32gb model. Sadly no SSD is included though there is a slot for a future SSD. I wish straight talk would also include a SSD as an additional option in the deal. That pretty much covers it. The software that came on the phone was from 2016 and I had to update it. So too me, it seems like these are practically new. A 2016 flagship phone with great battery life, a great screen resolution, a great camera, plus much more. A solid deal. Updating and signing up the phone to samsung was the hardest part and that was pretty much automatic.I see the phone is currently out of stock at the time of this review. I hope straight talk receives more of these for more people. Guess I bought one the last few.

Having used this phone for about two weeks now, I can easily say Im glad I upgraded from my S5 to the S7. I wasnt too impressed with the S6 for its lack of features that the S5 had namely waterdust resistance, expandable storage, and a removable battery, so when rumors began to surface about the S7 bringing back the waterdust resistance and the SD card slot, my first thought was that if they were true, I would upgrade as soon as it came out. Sure enough, the conference came and I eagerly awaited the day the S7 was released. I bought the phone the day after it was released, and I have to say, Im still impressed by it every single day.All the features I love are much improved, the phone feels great in the hands quite slippery, though, the buttons feel very solid, the camera and home button now much more flush with the body, the screen looks absolutely incredible. So much so I had to add two pros for it. This has to be the best display Ive laid eyes on in a phone. The battery life is pretty much what Ive come to expect, since Im pretty heavy on my usage I end up having to charge it every night, but its always enough to get me through the day. If its not, ultra powersaving mode to the rescue The fast charging also usually means that I can plug it up, finish what Im doing before bed, and by the time Im ready to sleep, its already charged. The performance is topnotch, much faster than even my S5 was out of the box. The alwayson screen is very nice for having the phone sitting out on the desk or table very useful for quickly checking the time or glancing at the calendar depending on the selected setting. The cameras are still impressive, too. The S7 has the best frontfacing camera Ive seen on a smart phone, and the rear camera, despite the drop in megapixels, is still just as good as the S5 or S6 were. The only complaint I really have about the camera is the lowlight performance still isnt there. Im not a camera expert, but compared to a few other phones out there, theres still just a little bit of room for improvement the colors arent as sharp and any light in the shot tends to blur together in splotches without every focusing enough.Aside from the lowlight performance of the camera, the only faults I can find with the phone are the speaker, the slipperiness, and one detail about the design. The speaker isnt the clearest it gets overwhelmed by too many sounds too easily, music sounds a bit muddy through it, and sounds just dont seem to sound as clear as they could. This is really a minor problem, though, because the water resistance is to blame here, and Im more than happy to make this trade. 98 of the time if I do listen to music or watch videos, Im using my headphones anyway, so this is really a minor issue. The biggest problem I have with this phone comes from just how good it looks. The glass and metal look is definitely a premium design, and it looks and feels absolutely awesome, but this thing is so slippery it almost scares me to take it out of my pocket sometimes. I remember one reviewer saying that the phone had slipped out of their pocket while they were driving. I scoffed a little bit, and credited that to whatever pants they must have been wearing. I can now say they werent lying the same thing has happened to me twice now once while driving to work, the other while driving to campus. Both are pretty short drives, but it was obviously long enough for the phone to decide it didnt want to be there anymore. Lastly, the only criticism of the design I have is that the S series is starting to go down the path of following a design of a certain other popular phone line. This isnt the only phone that has done so, there are several others which have also done so, but Samsungs designs have always been great, and its a shame to see this phone beginning to take on that familiar shape. That being said, the subtle details of the design the slightly curved edges around the front and back being my favorite really shine here, and its only in combination with these other two things that I have to rate it 4 stars instead of 5.I usually grow tired of phones pretty quickly, but I have a feeling Im going to be loving this phone well past the release of the next in the S series, and I look forward to the many months to come of using the S7.

Has more than just some dings and scratches as described. It looks like someone literally overheated the back cover too much while trying to fix it and left a huge scar from the suction piece on it. I expected some scratches and scrapes around the edges from the description but not such an obvious mark for being marked as GOOD. However, looking past that cosmetic fault since itll be in a case mostly, the screen itself is in near perfect condition and the phone so far is running like its brand new. Which was my main concern when ordering refurbused. So, in that aspect its a bit better than I expected. Ive only had it for the day so far, and as long as it continues running smoothly as it is, I can say it was worth the buy when youre in need of a quick affordable replacement and want something a bit more durable than most other newer model phones tend to be.

This is an upgrade from my Samsung S5. I will try to compare the differences in the two. I think the display is clearer and easy to adjust, the volume to me is louder and clearer and I especially like the external storage that you can easily remove and replace with the tray on the phone. Overall I am very happy with the upgrade and would do it again. I would like to say this phone was a new one and the S5 was a refurbished one so I do not know if a new S5 would have made any difference.. I would also like to say the price was very good and the Shipper was very helpful in our correspondence.

This phone fits the bill for a inexpensive, compact size option. You just have to uninstall a lot of factory apps and manually adjust a lot of settings to make it fully functional and extend battery life to last over 24 hrs. Highly recommended if you dont mind spending a day setting up your phone to meet your needs. It seems to have all the options you could want plus a bunch of junk you have to get rid of. I was concerned about it not having a removable battery but after I cleared cash, I got fast charging to work. Then deleted all power zapping apps, I got the battery to last over 36 hrs.

I was unaware of the fact that the US version of the Samsung Galaxy S7 phone did not have a true Octacore processor. The domestic version distributed to the US market introduced a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 which is Dualcore 2.15 GHz Kryo dualcore 1.6 GHz Kryo while the international version has an Exynos 8890 Octa Quadcore 2.3 GHz Mongoose Quadcore 1.6 GHz CortexA53. The difference may not be noticeable to the standard user however this was apparent to me. I was also disappointed that band 17 was not supported in this phone to take full advantage of LTE speeds. Although I understand that ATT is currently making the switch to band 12 from band 17, it should still be a feature supported if Sprint were to claim some of that network availability.I also had my Galaxy S5 since it was released which does not have a single scratch on it. The first week of getting the S7, it suffered a huge scratch from a several inch fall on a screw. The newer addition of the gorilla glass on the front and back is not an improvement. The curved design of the phone makes it so that its prone to slippage. The overall glass makes the phone aesthetically pleasing, but it does have this downfall. The Galaxy S7 is heavier than the S5 which is more than likely due to the Gorilla glass on the front and back.Overall the performance of the phone is noticeably better than any previous phone I had. It start up and handles applications extremely fast. The screen is very clear and theres no distortion because of the high resolution. The camera and the associated processing is remarkable. The microSD card slot was an exceptional addition the phone. I didnt buy the S6 because it didnt have a card slot.

I love this phone. Love that it is made out of metal, duat proof, water proof and unlike the s5 you do not have to worry about the back popping off if you drop it. Camera is amazing can not wait to use this on Vacation. Low light pics turn out great and the pro setting lets you control everything especially durring dusk lowering the iso will make a sky pic way lesss grainy. Another thing I love on the s7 is the aize of the selfie lens unlike the s5 when taking a selfie if you did not angle it right your forhead would look like something from the cone heads. The lens is definantly bigger. When using the flash there is no blue light emited that I can tell the flash appears to give a nice white light. Selfies in very dark areas though i still need my attachable flash. The wide selfie feature works great when I am trying ro take a group shot. Basically the camera and features have definantly came a long way, many issues on previous phones I have had have been eliminated.Phone works pretty flawless. One thing I wish they would of kept is the headphone plug on the top or at least the upper side of the phone. It is really annoying it being on the bottom.Battery life is good but not as good as my s5 was and I use the phone excessively. Even though the battery life could be better the fast chargers that you can buy or the one that comes with the phone charges super fast. I highly recomend purchasing one besides the one that comes with the phone and even one for the car. If you try to use a basic cable good luck on charging it anytime soon while you are using it. I would not recommend using any basic cable with this it takes too long. Love the cordless charging finally ido not have to worry about cables going bad.Another feature that is missing is the floating toolbox button that the s5 had. Made it really easy to use calculator and up to 4 or 5 apps without having to close out of what your in. Now I have to close out to use the calculator when I am on a webpage or my bank account so that is annoying. One thing that is annoying at times is when it switches from 3g or 4g I loose data connection but I had same issue with my s5. Turning wifi on then off seems to fix it quickly. All in all its a great phone. No issues yet and I have had it a month. Everyone that checks it out loves the camera lol mainly girls lol.Main things I would change about this phone is the headphone ports location, bringing the tool box back, longer battery life with excessive use and maybe in the future a zoom lens so I can stop bringing my camera on trips. Also wish their was a way to at least unscrew theback to change batteries on ocassion but then it might make un not waterproof.

Ive had this phone for about two weeks now and I still love it. Its a great looking phone, though the back does smudge very easily like people say. However, I dont spend much time looking at the back of my phone to really care about that. It is very slick though, and slides around easily when left on a surface. I put a thin Obliq case on it and it looks even better now, and the sliding issue is gone. The screen is awesome, and the speakers, while they could be louder and more clear, are great for the occasional internet video when I dont have my Bluetooth headset. The cameras are fantastic, easy to use, and big step up from what I had before with my Note 2 and my workissued Droid Maxx. I also really like the customization capability with the home screens, especially being able to change the tile layout. So far, there are only things I dont like about this phone. A couple times a day it keeps reminding me I have a microSD card installed on it, which is an annoying notification I have to swipe away. And every time I get that notification, the next time I open my camera it gives me a popup telling me my photos will be stored on the SD card. According to some articles, this is a hardware issue that a software update likely wont be able to fix.The only other thing that annoys me is the fact that at least once a day, I lose the ability to send or receive text messages. And I dont realize it until I try to send a text and it just says sending for five minutes before saying its unable to send. I have to put my phone in airplane mode, then put it back in normal mode, and then my texts get sent and whatever was sent to me can come through. This never happened with my Note 2, but it happens often with my wifes S5…. so maybe its an issue with the Galaxy S series Or maybe Sprint…. though like I said I never had the problem with my Note 2.Regardless…. great phone. Highly recommended.

Its snappier than my S4, the lockedin battery lasts longer than the ones i had with my S4, the display is sharper, all around it is certainly better.. just not quite as MUCH better as id expected from all the fanfare and reviews. My S4 seemed snappy when i first got it, so … wondering if this one is just going to bog down and be just as slow in a couple yearsMy S4 battery also lasted pretty well at first, made it through a whole single day for the most part, unless i was using it heavily. This phone does that too, but it will not last the whole day if im using it alot, and no longer do i even have the option to carry another battery… thankfully the fast charge capability will help, but still, i now have to have this thing tethered to a charger at least once during the day for at least an hour, which is not ideal. For all the hype, and ESPECIALLY for not being able to take a fresh battery, it SHOULD last a good 18 hours on battery even with some mildtomedium usage of the camera, facebook, a few apps… who wants to carry a phone they cant use without fear of it dying and then not having GPS to get you home at the end of a night outMy S4s display was pretty darn good, this one is better, just not otherworldly better to the point where i think when looking at it how i ever managed to get by with the S4…Im also disappointed the IR blaster is gone… i thought i was upgrading my phone in every way, turns out im losing some neat functionality i actually used. The speaker is maybe even not quite as good as the S4s Not sure about that, i didnt compare them directly, but i wasnt blown away by the sound out of this S7. No worries on that, i use bluetooth speakers and car audio anyway, which does work greatThe water proofness is great to know it is there in case, though i dont see myself swimming with this thing in a pocket, or otherwise submerging it if i can help it. I DO think this summer it will be very cool to have it in the pool with my kids, not having to worry if it gets splashed though, ill be able to take amazing pics of my whippersnappers Looking forward to thatAll in all, solid phone when i was expecting spectacular… maybe im just not using it to its full potential yet Time will tell, i look forward to uncovering more greatness than i have so far….

One of the biggest challenges for a new product is the addition of new features without sacrificing the benefits of previous editions. It would appear that the Samsung Galaxy S7 was made with this in mind. The minor changes to certain aspects are beneficial, but can easily be overlooked if one is not conscious to them.As a customer, I cannot express how glad I am that we did not lose the benefits of a removable SD card slot, water resistant measures, and durability that makes Samsung a valuable choice. With that said, the opponents of this platform world most likely vocalize the lack of additional, flashy features that might draw a consumer who has no regard to substance. If I had to complain, I would point out that the default texture of the phone is pretty slick something really rectified with the use of a case, which would have been a purchase I would have made regardless and the fingerprint option takes some getting used to pressing instead of swiping. In addition, the battery life, while sufficient, is surprisingly not exponentially better than previous versions. This may have to do more with the fact that I purchased the basic version and not the Edge. All in all, I think that the best trait is the value of the product. The habit of other companies to forget this consideration is one of the reasons why Samsung continues to lead the way in this field.

I truly love my S7 even though I have only been able to spend maybe a week using it. Roughly a week after I purchased, the back camera lens shattered for no apparent reason. The phone has been out of my possession since August 19th. Today is Sep. 6th. So I will update this review when I get my phone back from Samsung. From what I remember the fingerprint scanner is very quick and effective. The camera is AMAZING The screen has possibly the best picture quality of any device I have ever owned. The transitions are flawless, The phone is really quick performance speeds are mind boggling. My wifi speeds have more then doubled while using this phone. The speaker could be louder and higher quality. The S7 overall could have been my favorite phone if it wasnt for the poor quality of the camera lens that left it fragile enough to shatter while sitting on my porch, no drops, no bumps, just sitting. When I was on the phone with Samsung at one point I told them that I would never purchase another Samsung device. At the time I meant it. I dont think that will be the case though. With products that out perform their competitors at every turn with such beautiful design and great performance. I will just have to get over the shattered camera glass.

So far im still getting use to it. As for the Form Factor I cant tell you because I dont know what that is. The Battery Life is much longer than my old Acatel phone But that can be beat by about anything. For the Total Battery life I cannot give you a good answer, but it seems to last the day for me. I dont make many calls or text and I dont play games or use much of the internet. Hope that the Battery serves me well…. Time will tell. The Cosmetic condition of the phone came to me better than expected. The case and screen came with very little wear that is not noticeable unless you use a magnifying glass…… So far so good, its only been about a week so like I said time will tell I am still learning its capabilities and getting use to it. Thanks.

I finally upgraded from my dumbphone please dont laugh, and decided upon the Samsung Galaxy S7. I selected it for all the benefits over the alternatives wireless charging, water resistance, OLED display, large battery, etc. It was an excellent choice.I have been using this phone for about four months and have only plugged it in once. I wanted to test the fast charging capability as my battery was sitting at only 3 after a pretty busy day. It allowed the phone to charge by almost 90 in a little more than one hour, which is pretty crazy. This phone has allowed me to join just as Pokemon Go was released and the location service is definitely taxing on the battery however, the convenience of wireless charging as well as the fast charging capability allows you to keep going throughout the day.The design of the S7 worried me. All the glass and the slightly curved front display made my decision more difficult than it really needed to be. The glass made me worry about its durability, so I was concerned until I was able to find a nice case as well as some kind of screen protector.Lastly, the speaker was a bit of a concern as there is only one on the bottom which is easily covered by your thumb or finger. The sound isnt the greatest, but its good enough and I can overlook it thanks to all the other benefits. Finally, a bit of a rant… People dont seem to understand the glass on the front display is curved even though this is not the S7 Edge. Look closely at your phone. Its curved. The reason why the curved display is relevant is because I want to find a tempered glass screen protector and many of them either do not reach full edgetoedge coverage or they create a halo effect. Product reviews for Samsung Galaxy S7 accessories are surprisingly negative because consumers dont seem to know whats in their hands. Its frustrating. No fault to Samsung in that regard.

This is now my third Galaxy S phone device Previously owned S2 and S3 and I have to say that this is by far the best so far. It has such a great interface which is very easy to navigate and has some of the best customization features of any Android device. The battery is also one of the best Samsung has ever made. I can go all day, with regular amount of use, and still have about 3040 by the end of the day. Though I have noticed a slight decrease in battery life in the last month or so. I also dont like that you cannot take out the battery, so if it gets to a point where you need a new battery, you have to send it in to get replaced. 2 features that I really like are power saving, and ultra power saving modes. Makes it very easy to get the most out of a battery charge, and not have it die randomly throughout your day. Another great feature is Samsung Pay, it is something I have only used a few times, but the technology is amazing. All in all, this is the best phone Samsung has made to date. It has so many great features that have been introduced, and other old features that have been perfected. It also has many great add ons that you can get to make the experience better, such as Samsung Gear, or Samsung VR. Im currently looking into purchasing a Gear S3 soon. Unfortunately, I missed an opportunity to get a free Samsung VR Headset, but that is ok Maybe one day in the future I will purchase one. If you are on the fence about purchasing a Galaxy S7, just go for it, because it is one of the best devices in its category.

I have worked actively on the Smapdragon 820 chipset and I was very excited to try out the S7. I was highly impressed by the design compared to all the other phone using 820. This is a truly flagship phone with all the best features and the inclusion of a Gear VR and QHD screen just puts it one level above all the other phones.Compared to the iphone 6s, this has a lot of useful and important features.Pros Waterproof design holds up well to protect it but cant be used when in water Micro SD slot is fast and seamless Excellent QHD display with 5.1 inspite of a small and easy to hold frame Oculus app and Gear VR are amazing with a seamless and excellent interface Samsung pay is a revelation and works almost everywhere. The shortcut to your cards from home screen is very useful. QC 2.0 fast charging charges the phone in about 80 min Fast wireless charging is a great mix of convenience and speed Fingerprint sensor is fast and accurate. It works very well with the samsung browser to store passwords. It allows login to websites using fingerprint. Touchwiz supports split screen, resizeable windows and small screen for one hand use which are still not available in stock Android. Camera is top notch and one of the best in the market. Performance in apps and games is very good Ultra power saving mode is by far the best battery saving utility in smartphones which can give up to 3 days of battery lifeCons Slippery sides. If only the sides has a better grip, I wouldnt use a case. The back is a fingerprint magnet. The best option is to use a transparent case or a skin. The battery life is mostly very good but I see too much idle battery drain. Sometimes, it loses 1618 when sitting idle overnight for 8 hours. The stats show almost all the usage from Android system and Android OS. The screen already shows scuffs and scratches within 4 months from regular usage in the pocket.

I have had many cell phones in the past and I never thought Id love a phone as much as I do my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This phone is just absolutely gorgeous right out of the box. Samsung really outdid itself when they created this masterpiece. The packaging was very organized and not cluttered looking. The phone itself is lighter than my previous Note, easy to handle, and very streamlined. The features that stand out to me are the curved display they create a 3D feel when looking at words on the screen, The words seem to flow off the screen in another dimension. The Always On option I always know what time it is because my clock is always showing on the screen. The clarity of the screen with its vibrant colors by far, THE best Ive ever seen on any phone. The shortcut features shown on the Edge panels as well as the Edge feeds just swipe the right side of the screen and all my shortcuts are displayed. Changing the screen size so I can have more than just one screen open at a time. The camera allows for great looking lowlight pictures and also allows for hyperlapse videos. This is a feature I would normally have to obtain from a thirdparty app. Lets not forget it is water resistant, which Im sure with summer arriving soon, will come in handy when around the pool. But even with all of these features, the one thing that stood out to me was the return of the microSD slot, which gives my phone even more memory. That was one feature that Samsung always excelled at and Im glad they put it back on this phone. Now, if we could have the removable battery return as well … that would make it stand above all the rest on the market. Overall, I LOVE this phone and everyone who sees it compliments it. The clarity of the screen seems to strike everyones attention. Great job with this one, Samsung. Keep up the good job 5 Stars

I was excited to get this phone since it does seem to be held in high regard but in the end very disappointed. On the plus side, the rear camera is pretty good. It is very good in low light and is pretty sharp. The colors are not the most accurate and it is pretty bright but overall a good camera. The screen is clear and vibrant as well. On the negative side, the battery life is not very good even with setting optimized. The Samsung luna pro by comparison is far far better. Even the iPhones are way better. Also, the fingerprint sensor is not near as accurate imo as the iphone 6s or se. It often fails to open the phone which is annoying. For all the RAM and fast processor it has, the phone feels slower than the iPhones and still manages to sometimes have moments where it hesitates. The phone also can get pretty warm sometimes especially if you do a fast charge. It also doesnt seem to come with a visual voicemail app like other Samsung phones Ive used. It is currently updated to Oreo Ive read online of people experiencing battery issues after this update which I think is my least favorite Android operating system. I really wanted to like this phone as I do like the Samsung luna pro and was hoping for a tremendous upgrade but it just seems to get a lot wrong. The Tracfone service itself is excellent of course…this phone unfortunately for me not so much.

I held off upgrading to the S6 last year because it was missing some of the things I had come to love in the S5. This time around they took what was great from the S6 and improved upon it.Visually the S6 looks very similar to the S7 which is a good thing in my opinion. It is almost a shame to put a case on the phone and although I get tempted I plan on protecting it for long term usage.Pros Youve probably heard it all before….Ill note that playing games on it is a lot of fun and the Gear VR is a great addition but if youre serious about gaming make sure you consider a game pad before investing in the headset. The fingerprint scanner is a nice upgrade too, no longer is there a need to swipe. Simply place your thumb or finger on the home button at any angle.Subtle improvements to aesthetics and convenience are great but what I think really stands out is the new low lighting camera feature. The very quick access double click, focus, and shutter speed combination also make catching that perfect unexpected shot that much more attainable even when lighting conditions are not favorable.ConsI will admit I did need to talk to tech service once already due to an odd circumstance that led to my phone turning completely off when I plugged it into my computer… simply turn it back on I thought, but it wouldnt Tech support was however very helpful and I reset my phone with no loss of data. I also havent had the problem since and honestly Im not too worried about it at this point.Ill also note that bluetooth range appears to be slightly shorter at least compared to the S5.Another note is VR streaming can be choppy at times even with fast internet, although if you choose to download your content then I can attest that the experience was smooth and I had no VR sickness whatsoever. The phone itself warmed up after extensive use during gaming but was definitely not uncomfortably hot as with other phones.Id personally say its an astounding upgrade from the S5, as for the S6 it will depend on how important the details are for you to make the jump.

I actually still have this phone OK not me personally. I handed it down to family. Its a great phone, I bought it right before the whole cell phone boom so it wasnt expensive with the old att upgrade plan. Like you paid the price of a new contract phone rather than now where you pay to pay off the like 800 bucks. This phone works amazingly. My photos were amazing. I never ran out of space on the phone. The only downside was that I actually had this phone twice. Sometime after having the phone for a while it started to get hot when it charged and sometimes even just normally it would get hot until one fatal day where it died overnight and never turned back on. It took all my summer memories with it RIP. But I got a new version of the same phone and I still have it. It still gets hot but it hasnt died yet.

After I received Versa 2 Fitbit for Christmas I realized that I needed a newer phone in order to access Android 7.0, which the Fitbit app requires. You cant even turn the phone on without the app so it was a must. Although this phone specs on eBay listed this phone as having Android 6.0, I took a chance and ordered it hoping it would upgrade to at least a 7.0. As soon as I set up the phone and turned it on, the software did upgraded to 8.00. It works wonderfully with my Fitbit. Also the camera is a really nice surprise I am sold on Samsung phones for an Android platform and this phone is a great upgrade The phone came with Samsung Smart Switch and I was able to wirelessly transfer selected files of my choice from my old phone to this new phone. Also I was able to buy a 200g memory disk for the phone to store even more photos Great product This phone makes a really nice addition for TracFone users

Previously having the S4 and before that the Droid Charge, this is a huge step up. Performance is amazing. Ive been able to play every game in the android store with no frame drops including Implosion, Dear Hunter 16, Dead Trigger. I dont use the Game feature this phone provides, but the launcher is convienient. Navigating through the UI is very fast and accessing apps is faster than ever. The design is very similar to iPhone, which Im not very fond of. The speaker is at the bottom vs being in a neutral area like the back or somewhere on the front. Very awkward watching media and hearing the sound coming from one side of the phone, but I guess thats what headphones are for. Camera is amazing even through its 12MP. Could be due to the 4k capabilities of the phone but between my S4 14MP S7, this is a way better camera, especially in lowlight situations.Lets talk about the one feature that makes this phone stand out amoungst the others and that is the water resistant IP68 this device has. Works very well underwater and Ive washed my phone in water plenty of times having it only for a month. The only discrepancy I have is the USB killswitch it has if the phone detects that theres moisture in the port. If you dont dry this device off quickly, you may run into this notification about not being able to charge due to moisture. Ive been having inconsistant problems with it. Sometimes its willing to charge, other times it thinks that theres moisture when I havent submerged it. If it gets worse, Ill have to get it replaced. In conclusion, the value of this phone is ok with its amazing performance, fast loading of apps, but has a similar design to the iPhone with an awkward speaker. Just make sure you dry your USB port as soon as its submerged otherwise you may face a frustrating not charging situation.

This is the most beautiful and comfortable phone on the market right now and into the rest of 2016. It checks all the checkboxes of a critical smartphone user good experience, sharp and accurate screen if using the basic color profile, great contactless payments, fast accurate camera, and stunning device to look at, among other things.Coming from an iPhone 5s and the very refined and solid operating system, I was very picky about my next phone. A consistent, obvious and straightforward UI was very important to me because of its ability to let me get things done quickly. The Galaxy S7 has an excellent app called Samsung Smart Switch that lets one quickly and easily move their text messages, contacts, applications it gives a list of the apps that you have installed on your previous phone and offers links to download them through the play store for ones that arent on the playstore, it offers a list of similar apps, memos, and reminders. An accurate screen that is usable in any condition is the single most important thing in a smartphone. Beautiful photos that are shared between friends needs to feature the same colors and vividness and the S7 is able to do just that.Samsung Pay is the best contactless payment system by far. Its ability to work with both NFC terminals as well as traditional magnetic card swipe based terminals makes it an excellent, secure way of shopping at brick and mortars, especially in the United States where we are slow to adopt the newer, better chip and pinchip and sign system.Overall, this is a great phone that does many things right and few things wrong. Its a phone that is easy to recommend to any user, be it a power user or one that wants the simplicity of an iPhone in a more rounded pun intended package.

I have not been really pleased with this phone. The sound quality on speaker phone isnt great. It doesnt get very loud. Also the picture quality is really really bad. If your wanting a phone to take good picks do not get this phone. Plus when I purchased it I was told I could use it on ATT but when I took it to ATT I was told it can only be used with Verizon and Straight Talk. ATT go phone has a better deal that Straight Talk on data. Actually, I am being generous giving three stars. And now my phone is starting to do this weird flickering thing on the screen

I love this phone, my original one I killed with a faulty wire, I did NOT want any of the other new phones, not only because they are outragely expensive, but they are getting so complecated as well, and BIGGER I might as well take my tablet with me if I wanted a huge cell phone So I found this and its perfect. The battery life is not great, not sure if the apps are consuming it, but twice a day I need a full charge. And the small form factor Im guessing asks how big the phone is, and its perfect for smaller hands. I will not add pictures, you can google them, its a Samsung Galaxy S7 in gold.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is an incredible phone, but used albeit, the battery is horrible. I bought it for NFC mainly but also for a superior camera, so I guess 2 out of 3 is ok. Still bothers me I cant depend on battery but for 74 I cant complain much, but it still hurts seeing battery drain so fast for doing so little. I can have a new battery put in, but then Ive doubled price I need to get to be even with expenditure.

This is by far the best phone I have ever owned. The upgrades though subtle are definitely noticeable. I can absolutely run my phone all day without having to use the charger. That include watching videos and constantly checking and writing emails for work. The always on display really helps with this because I can now leave my phone on my desk and quickly get the information I need without having to wake it up. The addition of the expandable memory is a HUGE upgrade in comparison to the S6. The design is also great now that the slight curve was introduced. The phone fits much better in my hand it is one handed use is a breeze. Like the S6 this phone just looks great. The glass back and metal trim really makes the phone stand out so much so that I just cannot bring myself to cover it with a case. It is evident that Samsung took the customer feedback from their previous products to make a phone everyone will be happy with. The Snapdragon 820 works extremely fast and has plenty of power to take on even the most demanding multitasking challenges. The screen looks great, the AMOLED looks great is extremely responsive and is just the right size. I am not a huge fan of the Phablets so the 5.1 screen is perfect. Lastly, the return of the waterproofing is a wonderful. I am a father of three young boys and knowing that my phone can handle everything they can throw at it including a short swim if necessary is a life saver. The phone is light, bright, durable, and all around the best phone you can buy

Phone works fine as far as taking pics, wifi, texting, making calls, etc., but the biggest draw back is the battery life. It is terrible. The battery life is the worst of any phone I have ever owned. For being a Samsung Galaxy I would of expected better. The battery was also rated quite high by Samsung but that rating was deceiving as the battery depletes quickly. With very little use or even sitting idle, you can watch the percentage on the battery deplete. By mid day you will need to charge your phone. And its not just the one I have, apparently this is an issue with many who have this phone. So reviews and ratings arent always what theyre cracked up to be, sometimes you just have to find out for yourself and unfortunately I have a phone Im not totally happy with. I would not purchase this phone again….all because of the battery life. Of course, no battery….no phone.

I have had my Galaxy S7 for about a week now and have had a chance to play with it enough to know that this is by far the best smartphone out right now. My previous phone was a Galaxy S5 and although the jump wasnt as dramatic as I was hoping it would be, it definitely has the features and performance to stand out against the competition. The exterior of the phone has a different feel to the S5 due to its metal back. The screen also has a smoother feel to it and it seems to curved around the edges which also gives it a unique feel to it. The home button no longer has the chrome ring around it which gives it a cleaner all black look. I havent had a chance to test how waterproof it really is but at the same time I dont want to test it out. But, its good to know that if an accident involving water were to happen it should be pretty safe.Samsung has also somehow improved its display since the S5. Samsung is hands down the best at creating a beautiful LED screen and they keep topping themselves. When placing the S7 next to my S5 you can see the difference in vibrant colors and brightness. The blacks are richer and the colors really pop.As for performance, its slightly faster than the S5. Apps that used to load slowly now open up a lot quicker and does not slow down the rest of the phone while in use. The true test will come with time and as the phone gets loaded with more background running apps but initial experience is great. There are some great features on the phone that Im not sure were on the S6 already or not but were not in the S5. Such as the convenience of the headphone jack under the phone now, The My Places widget is also great for customizing the settings on phone based on where I am at the moment. This is a really great feature to have so I wont have to worry about muting my phone every time I go into work or have to turn on my Bluetooth off. This feature allows the S7 to do it on its own based on the wifi it connects to or the location I am in . The Always on Display feature is also convenient for when I am at work and can just leave the phone on my desk and see the time without having to touch my phone. The expandable memory slot is something Im glad did not continue after the S6. That reason alone was the reason I did not have much interest in upgrading from an S5. Fortunately, the S7 returns with up to 200GB expandable memory slot and I replaced my old 32GB SD card with a 128GB one.My only real disappointment with the phone is that I was hoping for more dramatic innovations with the S7 compared to my S5. With the exception of the minor noticeable improvements that catch my attention early on, it can be easily confused to an S5.Overall, this phone is hard to beat. If you are in the market for a new phone this is the only phone that will have everything you need and more.

Yes, I know there is no such thing as a perfect phone. We rely on our phones way too much, no longer a commodity but a necessity to even leave our homes. We spend as much, if not more on these gadgets than we do on the average tablet or laptop. With that being said, we have high hopes and high expectations on these handheld computers. Overall, I am very fond and love my Samsung and the gadgets it carries, but I am not in love with it. Like a typical Samsung, it starts lagging after a month or two of use. I open up text messages and start typing away and theres a lag of at least 23 seconds behind. In other words, Ill finish typing the sentence and its barely starting to type away. What I do love about the phone is the impeccable camera It has 13ultra pixels, which takes great day and night time shots, and the HD camera is superb. The phone itself is also very sleek and sexy, made of aluminum and glass. I am impressed with the VR gaming system and the Gear S2, which I personally use and it blows the Apple Watch out of the water I mean, think about it, it is its own standalone device, so you can leave your phone behind intentionally or not, and youll still be in contact with people via phone calls and texts. I also like the S Health app, which keeps count of my daily steps and water intake, and Im even able to check my heartrate and stress rate, etc. Very impressive to say the least. Therefore, I can overlook a little lag, and as long as I clean the cookies cache and use the phones internal Smart Manager then Im good to go.

With the 7th iteration of the Samsung Galaxy its become a really awesome phone. I am coming from an S5 and there are certainly some improvements that have been made to include longer battery life, an easier charging plugin at the bottom of the phone, a better camera, a faster processor and more space which is also expandable with a spot to add a micro SD memory card Match all that up with the quality and user friendly experience of the Android operating system and you have a phone that will certainly not let you down. Purchase this phone and you will not regret it. On the con side, I think my S5 actually charged a little faster, but once charged the S7 definitely lasts longer. Plus, with the addition of the built in wireless charging it absolutely makes charging a whole lot easier. The plugin on the S5 was very difficult to use Also, Ive had some issues with my WiFi connections seems like the S7 is slow to recognize available networks and, at times, some connectivity issues. Overall, though, the WiFi works as expected. Bottom Line This is a great phone that shows a lot of sophistication and is a clear representation of the years of experience and trial and error that Samsung has went through with its previous phones it just does everything well

its My only dream is to buy a phone. I tried all the mobile phones such as Samsung, Sony, and many more but I did not find iPhone, they are all imitators, I am a girl, my dream is a phone and the iPhone is my dream. I really really like this product and I want to buy it. In the undisputed world and This is my phone at the moment. i got it the day it came out and defiantly dont regret the purchase. Im on O2 and the reception is almost always full.Really easy phone to get used to and such a stunning colour. As some people do complain about the size, i just want to say its actually the perfect size. Its really light weight and you can take it everywhere. However, i dont recommend it to children or people who dont want to spend a lot on repairs. As i have smashed my screen yes already because it is a glass screen and its really hard to find someone to fix it if you dont live near an apple store luckily i do live near a few apple stores so i can get it fixed for about 60.Although it still works perfectly and the touch screen isnt affected by the smashed screen.Other than that, i do recommend it because it has such a beautiful camera and such a fast working phone, the 3D touch is really good for shortcuts and can be used on a lot of apps, even if they arent already downloaded. Ive always chosen t buy apple phones, and hopefully will carry on buying them indefinably worth the money so if your planning on buying it i recommend you do.

I can say truly and without hesitation that the Galaxy S7 is absolutely the best smartphone I have had the pleasure of owning. The craftsmanship, materials, hardware and even software are astounding. Samsung did not cut any corners on their latest flagship and it shows in all aspects of the device. It looks and feels premium. The feel in the hand is delightful. Touchwiz, Samsungs custom Android UI, has been greatly improved upon and is closer to stock Android than it has ever been while remaining useful. The hardware in the phone ensures no lag whatsoever while switching between apps and playing graphically intensive games. The battery is more than enough to get me through the day, although I consider myself a light user and primarily use my phone in addition to calls and messaging for some YouTube, Google Play Music and Feedly. The return of expandable storage, in addition to the plentiful 32gb onboard, is indeed welcome. The fingerprint sensor is highly accurate and fast to scan with very rare errors in reading my prints. As expected, the display must be seen to be appreciated. Colors are vivid, blacks are true and high definition video is amazing to view on such a brilliant display. In my personal opinion, the shining feature of the Galaxy S7 is its camera and it is the primary reason for my purchase. Every single picture I have taken, lowlight and standard lighting, is outstanding and destroys the iPhone 6s in competition. Samsung Pay is another muchappreciated feature. If you happen to forget your wallet, it is no longer a reason to worry since you can make purchases via a loaded card in Samsung Pay virtually anywhere. I cant recommend this smartphone enough It is hard to imagine anyone being disappointed in this phone at all

Ask about the network switches if you buy this phone. I learned the hard way. Seller doesnt tell about it till you ask. Once you know, its not a problem, phone works great. Also, something else I didnt know, if you use a Verizon phone on ATT, you will have Verizon apps. They work but are different. You can download the ATT apps from playstore. If I had it to do over, knowing what I know now, I would try to find an ATT phone. All is working and Im satisfied. It was a bit over my head. One setting, seller could have included a note in the shipping envelope. Cost me 6 to reactivate my old phone at ATT, and find out later from the seller that it was one switch, and another trip to ATT. Phone works great. Dont use it without a case. The glass back breaks easily. Samsung should be ashamed.

My upgrade has been long due, my S4 had became a sorry excuse for a smartphone, with the battery lasting less than an hour. I didnt get the S6 because of the lack of a MicroSD expansion slot. Finally when this released I was glad to see they added waterproofing, and MicroSD, alongside with the same design staying, and even more durable than last years. The performance on this is amazing. If you dont play many graphic intensive games, you wont see much reason for it, but all I have to say is Wow its almost too much, with games running on high at 1440p at solid frames. The battery too is excellent, and the addition of fast charging I was glad to see as well, for when you are in a hurry when you forget to charge it. The battery seems to drain very slowly while playing games too, something my S4 had problems with. Remembering when the S4 had its bulky slow, almost Windows 95esque Touchwiz Interface. The software doesnt try to be revolutionary on this, which to the matter of fact, it isnt. And thats the way it should be on a phone, no frills, just the basics. The themes, game manager, and other preinstalled apps are actually useful unlike the billions of preinstalled apps on the S4 Amazon Apps Cough Cough. Waterproofing is good, but Ive yet to have a chance to see it in action. One downside, adoptable storage, which I would really like to see, since I have a 128Gb MicroSD card. The design on the phone is amazing, though, in a since it is last years design, which was also beautiful. There are some minor changes, smaller camera bump, and the phone is thicker allowing for a bigger battery Thanks for not pulling a classic Appleism. The edges of the phone have been curved for better grip, though it still slides around. By the way, the water cooling is actually just a heatpipe. The camera takes crisp beautiful photos aside from the lower megapixel count than the S6, but if youre not that much of a photographer, youll barely notice it. The sound is good, and the Inbuilt EQ is amazing. The loudspeaker is actually loud now. Lat but not least, and the only place where this sexy beast falls short VALUE. And Im not talking about the regular one Which is also pretty pricey. But the edge. 100 more for a silly gimmick, and the glass and display shouldnt even cost that much to make, even if it is custom made But all in all, this is probably the best Samsung phone so far. They finally listened to everybody prayers And rants. And got it right this time. Way to go

What a step up from my Galaxy S5 Still water resistant, but now its metallic and looks that much classier. The main selling point for me was the amazing camera. I can take burst shots that auto focus so quickly, I can capture the smile on everyones face in a group shot with all their eyes still open The hyperlapse and slow motion features are awesome, not to mention the ability to adjust white balance and manually focus, makes using my camera more exciting and worthwhile, plus with the automatic 32gb and the option to put in a memory card, making home videos is more readily available. The memory card is so easy to replace too. I dont even need to charge my phone every night. Plus, when I do charge it, the fast charger allows it to go from 0 to 100 percent in a little over an hour and a half Also, the speaker is much better quality, listening to music or videos from my phone is so much more enjoyable. The audio is always crisp and clear. Also, the microphone is so much better I used to get complaints that I was talking to softly, but I havent heard that complaint once. The SpO2 sensor on SHealth is also a nice added touch, the Galaxy apps are updated to better fit my needs. Compared to the old S5, this phone is a breeze. So much more at my fingertips. I used Samsung Pay for the first time today and I cant believe how smooth it was My only qualm is that I really miss having a remote sensor, maybe Samsung will bring it back sometime I absolutely recommend purchasing this phone, it has been such a good investment.

Initially, I loved my S7 It has great features and lots of customization. But I had issues that really made my experience with this phone a lot worse. The camera button worked a good 75 of the time. Forget taking multiple pictures in a row…I would have to wait 15 seconds for the button to work again. The worst thing was the battery. About one year in, I couldnt leave it unplugged overnight or it would be dead in the morning. I had to keep a charger andor battery pack with me at all times for the last six months that I had this phone.

The scratches suggests that it was in hard use, probably not a store demo as described. It was definitely dropped multiple times as the edges have scratches all around the phone with some burrs as well the screen doesnt have any scratches, only the hard edges of the phone. Other than that the phone is as described, and in my opinion it looks generally much better in real life than on photos I was hesitant about this model as I didnt like the design in reviews, but I didnt regret buying it. There are some icons burned in at the top left corner and some very light burnins at the bottom half of the screen, but they are only visible on light background as described, they are not at all visible on dark background so I dont bother them. There is a night mode in Android 9 and it hides these issues in most cases. The camera is great and the phone feels very responsive, I like it, definitely worth the price.

This phone works really well. The camera is crystal clear and with the ability to expand the memory, it can hold a ton of pictures, videos, apps, etc.The screen is normal size, about what youd expect for a smartphone the Edge version is much much larger my friend has one.The speaker works really well and is actually located on the bottom of the phone instead of the back so you can lay it on a table and the sound doesnt get distorted. If youre a fitness geared person, this phone can monitor your heart rate, SpO2 level, and stress levels with a built in sensor near the camera. The processor works really well too, applications run fast without too many glitches which is mainly app issues not the phone.I love the fast charging capability because it actually works, however the phone gets really hot when on the charger. Even if youre not on the phone while it charges, it can heat up petty quick. The battery also loses charge fast if you actually use your phone. I mainly use mine for texting friends and family during breaks at work and occasionally hop on an app or two for about 10 20 minutes. I also make sure to force stop apps so they dont run in the background, but the battery still drains faster than Im used to with previous phones. This could be an isolated incident, but keep a lookout for a fast draining battery. Other than that, I love this phone.

The first thing Ive noticed about this phone is the sleek, modern and eye catching design. The finish on the phone, and the curved edges provide for a very natural feel in the hand and ease of use for one hand. The display is crystal clear, as Samsung always provides. The camera still destroys every iPhone camera Ive ever witnessed. I upgraded to the Samsung S7 Edge from the Samsung S6 Edge and the most noticeable difference at first glimpse will be the size. Everybody wants a bigger screen nowadays and the size of this screen enabled me to watch The Lion King on the go with my 5 year old daughter in HD, the picture was absolutely pristine. After using the phone for the first 24 hours, I must say I am blown away with the battery life. My S6 Edge would die almost every every 56 hours from my constant use of my mobile phone, hence why I purchased a charging case. I am pleased to say I will not be required or feel inclined to purchase a charging case with my new S7 Edge. The added features to the edge menu enables the user more than ever to have apps frequently used ready without crowding the home screen or opening a folder to open an app. Ive allowed my competitionloyal aunt hold and use my phone for a very few minutes and she was speechless as it blows her phone out of the water. She stuttered at the comparison and said for me to wait for the new release from her company. By no means do I think that company will be able to compare to the ground breaking innovations that Samsung is now known for. I can not say in words how pleased I am since getting my Samsung S7 Edge, Ill be in awe if they can make a phone more beautiful, userfriendly and innovative.

I thought it was a good deal to buy a phone at the price… live and learn. Over the last 2 months have purchased two phones from them with no luck. The battery life is not good and then the plug in to charge the phone goes bad on both of the phones I received. I also bought one a year ago and the same thing happened to that phone the plug in went bad. There resolution is to keep sending you a new phone that you will have problems with. After the 3 phones I decided to buy a new one from someone else. If you want a good quality phone this is not what you want to purchase. The good thing about there phones is I have become an export on changing the sd card and switching my contact information over and thats all its good for. The are selling phones under different names on ebay so be careful to not buy one of theres. Go buy NEW

The phone works, but it has charging issues. Sometimes it wont take a charge. It has to be restarted, then it will accept the charge. Also, whenever I use my car charger, the phone gives an audible warning to disconnect the charger because water has been detected in the connection. Neither the charger nor the phone have ever been anywhere near water while I have owned it. Clearly, there is a preexisting problem with the charging port hardwaresoftware. Maybe the previous owner dropped it in water

My G5 was acting up since last system update and struggling to perform with some of my apps. I upgraded to G7, ease of transferring my pics, apps, and other items to new phone. Didnt lose anything. I just needed to setup fonts, wallpapers, and what icons I wanted visible, disable the things I never use.Pokmon Go performs much better now.Im still exploring the new features, I like the idea of Themes for the phone, being able to add fonts, customizing the look of the phone to make it truly mine. The music sounds better on this phone, I also like being able to use my files for ring tones or use those from Zedge for individual contacts. The expandability of storage is a BIG plus I usually transfer items to the cloud for storage and backup, the extra storage allows me to have a mini computer in my hand to do the things I need to do.As for battery seems to be holding up so far to heavy use, Pokmon Go eats through power when constantly on besides other apps running at same time. I have a battery portable charger that is capable of charging it 3xs from near dead condition. My Husband plans on upgrading his G5 too, impressed with my phone.Screen resolution is beautiful, camera and video are easy to use. The additional download from Samsung for camera makes nice photos. Can even mirror phone to our Samsung TV pretty awesome toys.So far no dropped calls live in a rural area and signal is stronger than what G5 was able to do.Only thing I dont like are the games that were on the phone, I dont play those types of games and they were quickly disabled and if possible uninstalled completely.

The Samsung Galaxy s7 is a champion amongst mobile devices in todays market. However, that does not mean it is perfect. The biggest issue I have with the device is how hot it gets under load. While it is to be expected with the performance the device delivers, is very uncomfortable. Aside from the heat the phone feels very comfortable in my hand. The buttons are well placed and have a very satisfying click to them, the home buttons fingerprint scanner is a fantastic feature for obvious security reasons, and the camera is located in a spot where i never find myself accidentally clipping into camera frame. The camera itself is absolutely stunning. I have never before taken such amazing shots. 360 photos, slow motion video, and the highest resolution still shots I have ever taken, needless to say this phones camera software is packed with features. But as great as the camera is I noticed something I didnt like when I played video. The speaker on this phone is in, what I feel, an undesirable place as I often find myself accidentally covering it up when viewing video horizontally. Perhaps a necessary sacrifice in the name of design and easily remedied with a pair of headphones, but I still would have preffered a front facing speaker. Even with minor issues such as that i think Samsung has hit a homerun with this phone and I am incredibly pleased with it. Keep up the good work I cant wait for what you guys at Samsung will come up with next. Jeremy

I received the phone in good condition. However a few weeks after receiving the phone the camera app stopped working. I deleted the camera app and tried reinstalling. No luck their. I tried downloading a 3rd party app to see if that would get the phone working. No luck there. I tried updating the software. No luck their. I tried a force stop on camera. No luck there. I tried clearing the cache. No luck there. I tried taking it into ATT store they tried everything I did. No luck there. Nothing will get the camera app to work again.

This is the first phone Ive bought from Samsung, as Ive used iPhones up to this point, but I love this thing It was a bit of a hassle to switch but its so worth it.The screen is very nice, 5.1 inches seems like the perfect size for a phone, just big enough for watching videos but just small enough to actually work as a phone. The resolution is very high, better than 1080p, the colors are bright and vibrant, its all makes for a pleasant viewing experience. If I had one complaint, the touch screen is almost too sensitive, Ive had it register my finger before it actually touched the screen. Hasnt happened too often though.Sound is pretty good, the mono speaker is fairly loud and clear, and the pack in earbuds sound good, but they are a little uncomfortable. I couldnt wear them for too long without pulling them out or switching between one ear and the other. As far as performance goes, Ive played a few games, tried Milk Music and several apps. A few crashes, a few hangs in games like Final Fantasy Record Keepers, but they all run fairly smoothly most of the time. This could also be more the apps fault than the phone as it is a new device.Speaking of the phone as a phone, I quite prefer the call quality on this phone compared to my last one. I will say I switched from an iPhone 5S on ATT to the S7 on TMobile, so call quality could be due to the carrier rather than the phone itself. In either case its loud and clear, and it sounds like theres some form of noise cancellation.Overall, its a good phone and a great gadget, cant wait for the VR headset, and Im loving the wireless charging feature.

Im coming from a Windows lumia icon 929 and an iPhone 6 so I may be easy to impress. Performance The phone is zippy and very responsive. Bloatware could use some trimming but it doesnt seem to affect it much outside of taking up your limited storage. Camera the specs may look a bit less than stellar but the software behind the camera makes all the difference. It has a very crisp photo better in the dark than both my previous phones. It also gets the color right 98 of the time whivh is phenomenal. I consider this 12mp camera an upgrade from my lumias 20mp. Stats The weight and size are what I would consider ideal. Im an adult male who usually fits a large work glove size perfectly. It is slim and solid No flex, no noises. I recommend a cheap case that protects the back camera and sides. The back is a smudge magnet but with a case it makes no dofference. Other notes the antenna seems weaker than my lumia even though i have the same provider and same towers could be my cheap case It was a nightmare tryimg to get this on straighttalk but it eventually worked. The battery life is nothing more than acceptable and the microUSB is my least favorite option for a charge port but it accepts wireless charging and can charge 10100 in 1.5 hours or less so that helps.Overall I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I still have some things my iPhone family doesnt have and, so far it has performed better than an iPhone 6 in every way except battery life.

I have had the Samsung Galaxy S7 for approximately 8 months now. There are some awesome features included with the phone and there are some minor problems.First I will discuss what I enjoy about the phone.I really liked the phones ability to utilize splitscreen, and I have not had any problems with the splitscreen feature thus far. It comes in handy if you are watching a video and need to respond to a message, transferring notes or messages, etc. without lag. Speaking of lag, the microSD slot is also very handy, and it can free up the space so that it runs smoothly, and the capacity is borderline obnoxious. I have a 64GB card and have yet to fill it.The phone is very very durable. I have dropped it, kicked it, stepped on it, dropped it in my soup, and it comes out as a champion in my book because I obviously need a tough phone. The waterproofing on the phone is awesome, It has entered many hazardous aquatic conditions, but remains fully functional.Talk about fast. This phone charges in roughly an hour. I couldnt believe how fast it charged the day I bought it, and it is probably the greatest feature because I use my phone constantly and it drains the battery. Note make sure you only buy Samsung chargers and boxes. Other boxes and cables are iffy, and some do not support Samsungs super fast charging. The display and sound are phenomenal. The screen actually gets TOO bright at times, but thats better than being too dim. The picture quality is crystal clear, and the sound can get very loud while retaining decent quality. Another cool feature with the sound is that it can adjust with something plugged into the aux port to your sense of hearing. It adjusts to optimize how you listen to music, and can raise or lower certain sounds so that you get the best listening experience. Also the Samsung headphones are the most comfortable ear buds in my opinion. If you use your flashlight half as often as I do then this phone is a winner. The light on the S7 is a giant upgrade from the S6. It is noticeably more bright when compared to the S6, just try not to take pictures in the dark… its blinding. The camera also takes very quality pictures. Pro mode makes it easy to adjust the pictures for the setting of your choosing. I, personally, enjoy taking night time shots so this comes in handy. It also allows you to adjust the shutter, lighting, and focus which comes in handy if you want to take a picture of something very small or up close like an insect or flower. Now I will discuss what I found to be a nuisance. The phone is very very very very very susceptible to lagging. Be very careful as to not run a million programs at once. After you are finished with a program it is a good idea to close it down via the usage manager. It also helps to free up space on the phone by utilizing the microSD slot.THERE IS NO IR BLASTER. I dont know how it slipped past me, but I did not realize it did not have the IR blaster. If you enjoyed the S6 feature then you may want to keep your old S6 with you. I really wish the S7 had the IR blaster, but I got used to not having it.It has a short batter life as well, but Im constantly using my phone so it sucks up power quickly. I always carry my charger with me or a portable charger, but there should not be much problems for someone who doesnt use their phone 247.The system is a little buggy at times. In the past 8 months of sheer abuse it has only frozen once. I believe I have restarted and shut off my phone maybe 5 times at most. The screen overlay settingsthe thing that allows your messages and notifications to pop up while in a different app are very buggy. I had to reset my phone which isnt a problem because I have a 64GB micro SD card because the screen overlay would not let me adjust it. A majority of the time it is not the phones fault for crashes or lag its the fault of the apps.Overall, I found this phone to be very durable and reliable. It has some amazing features some I havent discussed because theyre alot of the features from prior galaxy phones. There are some problems with it, but those problems are very much manageable if one is careful and takes proper precautions while multitasking.

Having had several different android devices from different manufacturers and my last phone was a S5 I really have to say this what is exceeded my expectations.Despite the camera having been downgraded to 12 megapixels its picture clarity speedy auto focus and general image quality are very good. The fact that the camera offers a professional mode where he can adjust all sorts of items that you can only usually just on your SLR camera is amazing. The processor and go to memory is really fast and even 32 GB seem sufficient with an additional SD card as back up. For gaming especially some VR applications and more computer intense applications it seems to be doing very well. Another very cool feature which I think is under advertised is that it actually has an oximeter as well in addition to just the heart rate monitor. Its nice to know your oxygen saturation, isnt it Thankfully this model is also once again water and dirt resistance. That is a big big selling point. The phone feels good the screen is very reactive it has brilliant colors and an authentic reproduction in image and video quality. The haptic feedback if you want to use this is also really useful. Of the many phones in the past 20 years that Ive had naturally this is my favorite. The only negative thing that I would list is that as with all phones that are hungry for energy the battery life is not quite as good as you would want. But Samsung is the only company that is builtin ultra power saving so if you want to go back to the oldfashioned way and use your phone as believe it or not only a phone you will have battery life for 10 or more days. How does your iPhone look now Go galaxy

I found myself having to upgrade when my previous phone from another manufacturer suffered a known hardware issue. I had been very satisfied with that phones battery life and performance, and had not given much though to the Galaxy S7 before that day. I was a little reticent about making the switch without first doing more research, but my experience has been one of pleasant discovery. First of all, the S7 feels amazingly solid in the hand. The screen size is slightly smaller than my previous phone, but that makes it easier to use onehanded. The alwayson feature of the display means I dont have to keep waking the phone to check the time or notification status. Performance has been great, even in apps that would make my previous phones hot. The S7 stays mostly cool to the touch. Battery life has been perfect, if a little hard to gauge at first. About halfway through my day, it will seem to indicate that I have an hour or or so left, but then it will go another 810 hours anyway. Charging is quick anyway, whether by cord or wirelessly. The pictures from the camera have gotten compliments, not to mention the focus is very fast. I downloaded some additional camera modes from via Galaxy Apps and have been making use of them as well. One weakness on an otherwise great phone is the volume of the speaker. I assume this is a tradeoff for water resistance. I was also a little disappointed in the sound quality via headphones and streaming until I found the UHQ upscaler and Tube Amp Pro settings. The music sounds much fuller and warmer with them turned on when available. This is not an inexpensive phone, but you definitely get your moneys worth in features and performance.

This phone has been reviewed many time since it was first released several years ago I really cant add anything new. I like and have owned many Samsung products and have rarely been disappointed. This is a good phone and I bought it because it was brand new in an unopened box at an excellent price. I do not need the latest and greatest gadget, a model that is older and new works perfectly for me. The only negative is that the battery does not last as long as I would like, so I have to charge more often no big deal because I do not live on a cell phone, simply use it to talk and text.

Prior to purchasing my S7, I used a Samsung Note 2 for 4 years until it would no longer turn on. I dread the process time that goes into buying, learning and changing all the settings to my preferences. The last year of using my Note 2 I tried to keep up on the newest phones features.Features that were the most important to me while looking for a new phone was the amount of internal storage, as well as the maximum size memory card it would take. Camera, camera features video quality were also extremely important since I take an abundance of pictures and videos. I also wanted a phone with fingerprint access to avoid entering a password 50 times a day. Battery life was also important to me.The internal memory comes in 32 or 64 GB w4 GB Ram. The external MicroSD card can be up to 256 GB.Forward facing and back facing cameras both take amazing quality pictures. I get a lot of positive comments from people that are amazed with the quality of the 12 MP camera the S7 has.The fingerprint access feature works great and has yet to give me a problem. Fingerprints to use Samsung Pay is also a great feature. The battery life is definitely better than most phones Ive had or have seen on other phones. The S7 has a Nonremovable LiIon 3000 mAh battery which provides up to a 22 h talk time on 3G network.Overall, this is one of the best phones Ive purchased. It met all the requirements I was looking for, plus features I didnt even know I wanted but now cant do without. I would give this phone a rating of 4.7 out of 5. I highly recommend the Samsung S7.

My last two phones were the Samsung Galaxy S4 and the Samsung Galaxy S5, though my work has me work with other phones. After having the Galaxy S7, my general impressions are The feel is the best Ive felt in a Samsung phone probably because its glass and metal like some other highend phones, rather than plastic. The size is better than the S5, but onehanded operations can sometimes be awkward even with my big hands. There is a onehanded mode available with three presses of the home button, but its a bit inconvenient and wastes more screen than Id like. Battery life is good, even with the always on screen which Ive grown to be a fan of. Somehow, Ive been keeping this phone charged where historically my phones wouldve died at least a few times by now. Im not sure if the alwayson screen has helped me get it to the charger, or if the battery is simply that much better. Even with my big case, wireless charging works as does the NFC that I used with a relatively lowpower keyfob. Wireless charging is neat, but its a bit finnicky. At first I thought I the positioning needed to be specific, but there are times where the charging doesnt start, even after repositioning, until removingreplacing the phone on the charger. Theres enough of something going on that its an effort to ensure the phone is charging. Charging works reliably once started. Waterresistant is wonderful the biggest downside of the S4. Theres no flimsy USB flap like the S5 had, and the ports honestly look like theyre more durable and will stand wearandtear better. The speaker and the headphone port have moved to the bottom of the phone. Overall, Im neutral on both changes. Its easier to plug in both ports when theyre on side, but it makes the volume button position a bit akward when in a pocket. The speaker sounds better than playing from the back and is positioned so that blocking doesnt really occur too easily, but its something that still happens. Samsung Pay seems promising, but sometimes is not not nearly as seamless as ideal. e.g Multiple attempts to get the cardreader to read the card. Ill continue to try using it, as it probably has some security benefits over just using a card. Theres setting to allow activation without unlocking the phone just a PIN or a fingerprint, but I much prefer nonfingerprint unlock, followed by fingerprint payment verification. Card usage does not require any space on the home screen. Ive never had a problem with the Galaxy screens. Theyve always looked great to me, and that includes the S7. The camera is the best Android camera Ive used in a while. Its fast to use, pictures are clear, focusing works well. I know some may try to talk about megapixels but those megapixels are pretty useless when the camera is slow, fails to focus, or is otherwise buggy. In regards of actually taking pictures the camera is excellent and more than enough for casual use and even some photographic use. While my DSLRs and other cameras still have their places, Ive integrated the phone camera into my lifestyle because of how usable it is.

Back cover was not glued properly. I found out that the battery was too thick and prevented the back cover from closing and sticking to the frame of the phone correctly. I thus changed the battery and all was fine. I didnt expect much more from such device from Ebay, with New UNOPENED in the title they are usually refurbished devices. Mine is a black s7 assembled with a motherboard of a grey s7. But at the end, all looks good, and my device looks brand new and is working perfectly well.

Ive had my S7 for about a week now, and Ive already discovered how powerful it is. Plenty of memory for using several apps at the same time, easy to use interface, crystal clear calls, and a really good speakerphone with no echos or static. The camera is excellent. The headphones that come with the phone are designed well and are very comfortable to wear while running. It comes halfway charged, so you can start using it right away. Several apps that I had on my previous phone come already loaded, including Google maps for directions while driving, Gmail, Youtube, Messages, Google Drive, and S Health an excellent fitness tracker, which definitely replaces my current exercise tracker. Even the builtin heart rate monitor is surprisingly accurate and easy to use.My friends keep begging me to dunk the thing in water…a feature I have yet to try.The only two drawbacks was 1 a tendency to get really hot the first time you plug it in using fast charging, but apparently this is normal and goes away after the first charge. You also have the option to turn off fast charging if you dont want the internal cooling system to kick in. 2 this phone is sleek and slippery, but Im using a protective case with a holster, so it doesnt really matter.Overall, this is a fantastic phone and I highly recommend it.

It arrived just as described, in great condition. I had an S6 prior to this S8, and am still getting used to the changes. A few things I dont like as much as my older version like reminder vs tasks in calendar, but very happy with it over all. I love the sturdiness of the Active model, and am sad that this is the last year they made them doesnt go beyond S8. I also love that with the Smart switch app I was easily able to transfer everything to the new phone from my old one, including all my memo notes.

This phone, the Samsung s8 Active, is exactly what I wanted. It has a flat screen, metal around the edges, and a tough plastic back, unlike the allglass curvedscreen s8, s8, and Note. Those I would break in a heartbeat. This one, while presumably not unbreakable, will hold up to a lot more abuse. It looks good, too. Crisp screen and good color. It is similar in appearance to my old s5, but with a lot more screen top to bottom and a bit more side to side. The native keyboard is quite usable. As for the camera, its top notch. I took a picture of somebody in the middle distance, cropped it, blew it up, and no pixelation. The battery lasts a long time, since it is 4000 mAh as opposed to the s8s 3000. Thats a lot of battery for a normalsized phone. Its a little heavy because it is slightly thicker to hold the nonreplaceable battery. Nothing you cant get used to. Fits neatly in a pocket, but you might want to get a screen protector because the outer layer of the screen is plastic and will scratch

Heads up, I am not a techie. The phone came with a charger cable. The cable port is worn and used looking. My phone cover hides the worn area. If that is the only thing I wrong with it then I guess that will be alright. I could have paid another 20 for an official new phone. If I can get 18 24 months out of it then I will be happy. I hope it lasts that long for what I paid. It has required a few updates that didnt succeed at first but it seems to be working and updating now. This phone requires a NANO Sim card to use it for calls and texting. I wasnt even aware there was a Nano SIM. Make sure you order or buy yours in advance so you wont experience a set up delay. Upon activating the SIM with Page Plus, I noticed this S7 does not have the same signal strength as my previous S5. I live in a rural area and it seems like its a struggle to get 2 bars even while outside in a clear area. I used to get 3 bars on a good day with the S5. I do not care for the way you insert your SIM and Memory card into the S7 model. You have to use a little key, which will be difficult to keep up with, in order to access the tray inside the phone. You cannot access the battery if you should need it. While its great to not have to keep a spare battery around it means you have to rely on the life on one which we all know lose their ability to charge over time. I am sure the phone has a lot more features that I will enjoy once I figure them out.

The phone is phenomenal, its fast, a greatsize the speakers on Samsung have improved so muchpercent im hard of hearing Beats out my iPhone 6 Plus Nice looking and the S pen is a real bonus Fast charging, holds a considerable amount of time charge I havent found anything I dont like about it yet. The only thing Im having a little problem with is transitioning from all iPhone , iPad products to Android Thats said Android apps have a lot more to offer than the iPhone. Samsung note 5 is a great value for the money I paid

Although this phone is now just over 4 years old as of this writing, its still a fullfeatured phone for a great price which ultimately makes it a great value. This phone still surpasses in features and quality the newer Galaxy A and J class phones on the market today some of which are even more expensive If you get the chance, and are looking for a great phone that doesnt break the bank, consider the S7. We have 3 S7s in our family now for over a year, and were hoping to get another year…or possibly longer

The phone works okay. first time using it was running hot first for a few days but has stopped running hot. it does not have a hotspot feature. Normal S7 models do.The representatives, have poor knowledge of their productBefore buying this phone I had called Straight Talk to see if it had a hotspot feature and I was told that it does. And that I would simply have to update my plan and they could activate the hotspot.I contacted Samsung after purchasing and not being able to find the hotspot feature. As directed and they said this particular model of S7, Straight Talk had features removed. And the hotspot could not be activated because it was not installed on the phone.. I wouldnt recommend.Unless you only talk text and occasionally send an email.

copied and pasted from my elsewhere posted reviewSo hands on with the Samsung Galaxy S7, this thing is pretty cool. I last used the S5 and liked it for its waterproof capabilities. Not that i expect to ever submerge it, but in the winter months, I often will have my phone in an inner pocket of my jacket while out snow shoveling whathaveyou.. and i have steam fogged other phones with my own sweat before from having done this, so waterproofness is key to me.Also, the return of micro SD storage is very welcome 200GB card support, the tap not swipe fingerprint reader is much better in operation than the swipe reader on the S5 was, but admittedly this was partially due to the case i put on the S5 from day one. If im going to drop this kind of money on a device, and work in environments that are not friendly to delicate electronics, im always gonna wrap it up.The bump up to 4GB of ram for the operating system is a big performance improver.. or the processor is the key, either way, working together the phone is ridiculously responsive. The S5 was quick most of the time, but once youve installed over 100 apps and a half a dozen widgets on your home screens, it could get a little laggy.. Not so with the S7. It is pretty fast. And I love the fast wireless charging which thankfully works through the thick protective case I installed, so there is no more fiddling with charge cables and port covers. Actually there is no port cover on the S7 except in the case. The phone itself does not have a charge port cover or headphone port cover, but it is still waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes. The IR blaster is gone, but i very rarely ever used it so no real loss there. The camera is pretty awesome. it has less quoted pixels but a larger aperture for greater light sensitivity and better low light image quality. The camera shooting modes are too cool too. It shoots in 4K UHD which is awesome, but it also does fun stuff like 240fps at 720p which plays back as slow motion. I did notice a small stutter in the slow motion playback, but not sure what the cause is or if it will be there in videos shot with more light. Also available modes include time lapse, and 360 degree object self explanatory, shoot a full 360 view of an object, as well as video clips attached to photo. The battery life is very good, considering how hard i use it, and the constanton display time and date only is a useful feature that will save a bit of time for me at least.Im running out of things to say about it, but in a nutshell, I like it.Major item i forgot to mention Marshmallow has a couple major features, the most interesting of them being new permissions control. You now have the power to turn off or on each permission requested by each app. For instance, my normal web browser uses several permissions by default, but through the application manager in settings, you can toggle on or off each individual permission. For people who are privacy minded and like to have a high degree of control on their device and their information, this is an absolute game changer. One week in, Im very happy. The Bluetooth audio has possibly somewhat decreased range while wireless charging, but its still exceeds the 10 meter specification by a good bit. It is somewhat expected that blasting magnetic resonance energy at the phone to charge it which is how wireless charging works might affect the quality and range of the bluetooth audio signal. Device heating from charging is also noticeable, but so far not an issue. Battery life is solid neither much improved over nor worse than the S5 and seems better since the software update baseband update yesterday morning. Most relevant to the average person the phone does not lag, like, ever. I have a mess of apps, and often switch tasks at a moments notice, and I am impatient as heck, if the phone glitched at all, I would be on it like white on rice, but it just doesnt do it. web pages load quicker, apps open quicker, everything just works better than the S5.. and the S5 was no slouch itself.

I have had the S7 for a few months now and it runs without any hiccups. It has enough RAM to run several apps at once, without any delays. Camera is very good, very decent low light performance and can shoot video up to 4K video. With full cell signal it can down load over 50Mbps…crazy fast. It can jump back and forth between Map apps. Chrome internet, email, camera, audio apps etc. with out any delay. I use an extra miniSD card for extra storage of high quality audio WAV fiiles, app storage and photosvideos. Easy to turn off most apps. you dont need and manage memory usage. Battery life is very good…unless of course your running lots of apps at full screen brightness etc. If you just need a cell phone for text and calls this would be a bit overkill, but if you do like to run more apps.,3D games, shoot HD video etc. the S7 is truly a solid smart phone.

The Samsung S7 is an excellent alternative to the current highend S8 and an excellent upgrade to the S5. Its fast, has a micro SD card slot, and is water resistant. Camera takes outstanding images. Best of all, Its widely available used in good condition, for around 200225, which is a lot cheaper than a new S8 at 4x the price. Slap a screen protector on and its like a new phone. Note that the screen is slightly curved at the edges, so make sure to get a screen protector that covers the whole screen and is slightly curved along the edges many screen protectors claim to fit the S7 but dont fit. Charging is via standard microUSB port. Other features include heart rate detector and blood O2 sensor, step counter, hot spot capability, and fingerprint detector for security. Fullfeatured smartphone with near cutting edge features without the cutting edge price. Highly recommend.

I bought this phone the 1rst of December the battery was defective in the phone. I notified straight talk and the service tech said he would send me a return box to return the phone he said only send back the phone and chrger. I asked him dont I need to return the box and all he said No. Now after 2 weeks and multiple calls I finally received another phone. They sent me a refurb phone with a 90 day warranty. I have called on this multiple times and have gotten no where. This is not right I should Ha e gotten a new phone it was not my fault there was a defect. I had a year warranty on the returned phone and it was new and they send me a used phone . If I had bought the phone at WalMart they would have given me another new one. Ive been a loyal customer for many years and spent a lot of money with them. This is unfair and a rep off. They are selling defective products for a lot of money and when u return it there replacing it with a used product. I will never buy another straight talk phone again. Dont ever buy anything on line from them.

I have purchased slightly used or display phones before and had always seen small scratches either on the screen or the phones case. This phone was in brand new condition Now, that might not apply to all of these phones that are listed… but it did to mine The phone arrived quickly, so receiving the phone was no problem either. The phone itself works exactly as its supposed to work. Im not a huge phone user, so my opinion on the battery life may be a bit skewed… but it lasts me from the time I get up until the time I go to bed and recharge it and I still have around 40 battery life left. But, like I said, Im not a kid that goes around with my face buried in my cell phone all day long either If I HAD to come up with negatives about the phone is that Im not crazy about the back icon being on the right and the display open apps icon being on the left. That just seems counter intuitive to me. The back button is always on the left on just about any web page… why not on the phone. Likewise, the all open apps button is normally on the right. The only other negative I can come up with is that I would probably have made the home button be an icon rather than a literal button. Its much easier to simply touch an icon rather than having to push ina button. But if those are my only gripes… thats not too bad. The camera is PHENOMENAL Of course, you have to keep in mind that I am comparing this new S7 to my old cell phone camera that I told everyone youre better off using an etchasketch rather than the camera on this phone. But that aside… the pictures are VERY clear and crisp and the camera is quite easy to use. To wrap up my review… if my wife were wanting to upgrade her phone right now… I wouldnt hesitate a moment to order another one of these

My previous phone was a rooted Galaxy s5. I made the decision to get this phone because they brought back the SD card slot as well as the fact I needed a new phone and really wanted the vr headset which Im waiting patiently on. When I got the phone I was immediately impressed. It had a similar feel to the phone I was used to, felt sturdy, and looked immaculate. After going through the initial setup process I began to dive into the phone. The first test was to see how well it held up to my gaming habits. I fired up the laggiest game I played, Game of War. I immediately noticed a tremendous difference. It was faster, smoother, and even had little icon I could click and pull up a menu of game options. I immediately locked the back and recent buttons with this menu. No more leaving a game because of a missclick. I also noticed the screen capture and record features which means I wont need to root the phone any time soon. Next I started to play around with personalizing my phone. I applied several themes and truly made the phone mine. The few things I miss however are the generic stock music player, stock weather widget background, and flashlight widget. That aside though Ive gotten used to the weather widget as well as using Google play music and Im sure I can find a 3rd party flashlight widget. All in all I would happily recommend this phone to anyone.

I found the Samsung Galaxy S7 to be an excellent phone with one exception. I read many reviews about the S7 and the quality of the camera before I purchased but I was disappointed with the video side of it it was impossible to pan the camera without a stutter and glitch appearing. Further research, discovered Samsung accepted this was just the way the camera is. As the video feature was the very reason I purchased the S7 I was disappointed with that side of the camera. If it had not had that issue, I would rate the S7 very highly as the video quality when not panning the camera is excellent. Photo quality is second to none. The build quality of the S7 is very good with its very smooth sleek shape and feel. Battery life was also very good and would last nearly 2 days on average without charging which I should mention is very quick. To summarise , superb phone, but for me slightly let down by the video stutter when panning and should have been corrected with a firmware update which wasnt and has been mentioned that the problem is with the optics and not the software.

Coming in as a long term Note 3 4 user it took some time to get used to the S7s smaller screen but Im growing attached. I wasnt sure Id like the Gold option but it is quite a much more attractive phone in person. Display is awesome and the processor speed blows the Note 4 away. Its difficult to rate it much higher than average because features are pretty much standard across the Android platform. I do love the ability to select multiple fingerprints instead of just one so I can operate onehanded with either hand. The biggest downside to this particular phone is the inability to obtain a quality glass screen protector because the screen edges are curved too much for a protector to lay completely flat which makes it a great place to gather dustdirt particles. Also too easy for the protector to peel off. For the couple out there that do lay flat, they are inset about 18 on both sides to avoid the curve. You can still see the screen fine but its annoying and unattractive.Overall Id recommend this phone but get a good case that protects the screen too. And dont submerge it even though they tout it being water resistant with fancy commercials, IF it gets wet inside, youre on the hook for any damage.

First let get this off the top. Yes the phone is huge and the laws of physics will dictate that you cannot do one handed texting and such as you would on an iPhone 5 but so the hell what Yess I am teenage girl that spends her every waking moment texting but on that note, the plus side is a bigger keyboard. With the i5 just about everything I texted needed editing because of misspelling due to small keys where with this phone I rarely do. Im into taking pics and video taping and watching videos surfing the net. With the real estate you gain with this phone all of those things are a dream come true Battery life is freaking amazing Even with a Ballistic case which I have on mine, I can still slip it in and out of my pocket with no problem. Does it bend Not sure but I dont put it in my pants pocket and sit a 150 lbs plus on a flat piece of electronic. Its an electronic equipment, not a brick. Do you sit on your laptop and expect it to be fine All the added apps like iMovie, Garage Band and such were a nice bonus surprise. got the 64g because the 128 was not available but I just came off a iPhone 5 32gb and it never filled up so this one should do more than fine for my purposes. In all, if you compare it to a smaller model youre gonna find flaws. But if you look at it as a whole This phone is a dream come true. Highly recommend.

The best phones ever built on the market but Samsung ruin it with the new software upgrade that killed most of the fun. Overall, it has survived to most of the falls, accidental pool drowning or ocean diving, few scratches and one small crack above the front camera. It simply looks great and its very easy to use and explore, has the best camera with awesome pictures and movies to take. My wife has an I phone 7 plus and shes very dissapointed when compared to S7 edge but Im not getting to that now. Very good phone, no need to upgrade to S8.

Ive had my Galaxy S7 for about two and a half weeks and feel like the phone still needed work. The phone is beautiful aesthetically and easy to hold with the curve on the back, but, Samsung still makes the phone very slippery and often slid out of my pockets before I skinned it. The phone just like the last one also has a problem with over heating and it has become such a problem that it makes the phone unusable for a long work day causing me to have to use my old phone instead. My last issue I want to address is the UI of the phone, because Samsung skinned the phone very heavily and is very demanding causing overheating and battery drainage.PROS I do like the fact that Samsung added back in the removable storage and the fact that you dont have to restart the phone every time you take it out Since the SIM card is in the same slot. This feature is convenient for me as I do use the S7s camera alot when I dont have my DSLR handy. Now to the next thing I like, the camera. It was wonderful to find out that the phone no longer had a huge camera bump on the back and while Samsung did sacrifice a few pixles for that I dont mind. The sensor on the camera still, in my opinion, makes this one of the best smartphone cameras on the market. I live in NYC so the fact that the camera is ready to go at a moments notice is really nice. The function I love most is the timelapse function on the camera creating amazing shots of the city from my apartment or anywhere else I happen to be. The screen on the phone is also one of the best looking screens Ive ever seen, and, while it does drain the battery if at full brightness, it is still great to be able to look at a picture I took or video I recorded and see the quality in the photo. In my overall opinion of the phone I feel like I could have waited a few more weeks for Samsung to work out the quirks in the phone before releasing it, but, in the time they had the still cranked out a great product that Im proud to own.

Just a few months of frustrated use, and I am done with this phone. Started out not being able to hear media. Does not hold a charge. Will shut down, WHILE ON THE CHARGER. It likes to turn on the wifi and location services, so it can drain my battery even faster. I NEVER use wifi or location services. Almost half the screen went shadowed. Then it started to shake violently. I am done with this. Thank goodness I leased it, instead of buying it. First time I ever leased.

Ive had every galaxy from the start and loved each and every one up until the 7 model. The were 2 big problems that stood out more than others. The first being the keyboard. Ive never sent one text without having to go back and correct spacing so badly. It types an n instead of spacing, which granted the letter n is directly above the space bar but its never been an issue with any other model. I cant count the times I was close to breaking it in half for that frustration alone. Eventually I downloaded another keyboard and although its better its still not as good as any previous phone Ive had dating back to my first. The second issue is the speed. Sometimes it seemed ok but far to often it was glacial, almost frozen. I would not recommend this model to anyone and I can only hope the next one I get will restore my faith in the galaxy.

Overall a great phone Upgraded from S4 to the S6 and am very pleased with my choice. Battery life is significantly better though still not as great as the non Android product but that one difference is not worth switching. This phone has so many features, Im still discovering some as I play with it. Another issue I have with each Samsung phone Ive had, the ringtones are just sad. I always download an app to get much better ones. Since I have the app, Im not holding this against the phone. The camera is amazing, the quality is as good, if not better than some of my DSLR camera shots and it certainly has more features than the DSLR does. I LOVE that I can add on more memory. It holds so much I dont know if Ill ever fill it up now The fact that its water resistant HUGE plus I dont have the nerve to test it under water, but I do feel better doing simple things such as leaving it in my shirt pocket while running through the torrential downpours and not worrying about it getting ruined. The wireless charging is a perfect solution to the tiny microusb that over time wears out on any device. The bright clear display even in daytime is wonderful. No more hunching over trying to create shade to see it

Bye bye to unlocking phone just to see time. The Default Browser is simple, lightweight, featurerich, smooth. Waterproof and dust resistant, cant ask for more, no more worries during rainy days. Dual SimMemory card, finally Samsung brings in these on its flagship phone. Overall a very beautifully crafted phone, the design looks simply gorgeous and perfect.

To start off, I switched from iPhones to Galaxys back in 2011 with the S4. Then I moved to the S5 Active in 2014. Having switched from the iPhones, I always felt Samsung just got it right from a functionality standpoint. Advanced features, great look, Android interface and especially the added storage option. However, when my S5 Active got a little dated I was excited for the S6 but then was completely let down on how they removed some of the critical functions Id always appreciated. Over the last several months I even considered switching back to iPhone.Once I held the new S7 in my hand and saw what they had done I knew it would be an instant purchase and Id never look back. Samsung has literally taken everything the Galaxy fans loved on each of the past models and simply improved them in one phone. Expandable memory check. Amazing camera better than ever. Display better than ever. Speed lightning fast. Intelligencesoftware incredibly efficient. Battery not replaceable but more efficient and upgraded for the edge. Literally everything Ive loved about a smart phone is updated and exceeding expectations with the new S7. Its an unreal phone and have been recommending it to anyone that will listen, even iPhone users. Its just a great tool in an increasingly tech driven era and reaffirmed my decision in becoming a Samsung fan.

I have to heat the phone up against my body or a heat source for the screen to start functioning again. and of course its just past the 1yr warranty.my old galaxy s5 also had issues just past warranty like the battery having to be plugged in constantly or during in 20 mins and the gyro sensor going bad causing the screen to not rotate.starting to doubt the quality of Samsung devices after these experiences,

So Im coming from a Galaxy S4, for reference, so while I cant give you an account for the gap between the S6 and the S7, I can at least tell you how much of a leap up this phone is from the S4.First thing I noticed right off the bat was the curved back that fits more ergonomically into my palm, which is definitely more comfortable than the S4 sharper edges. The fingerprint scanner on the HOME button is a nice little novelty that, while making it quicker to unlock my phone, is still annoying when attempting to position my thumb just so, so Im glad that I can keep my old pattern as a backup. The bigger screen becomes most noticeable when playing some of my older games. Its obvious that these games have to be stretched to accommodate this different screen resolution, but Im sure theyll patch that in soon. These are things to be expected from a phone that was just recently released. Speaking of that subject, I noticed a few other minor bugs that fit that category, including not being able to post text in Facebook Messenger without opening it through the Facebook app, weird.I am so grateful for the boost in storage space and general performance compared to the S4. Even without an SD card, all my music and apps dont feel too cramped yet. Though, be sure Im going to be using the heck out of the expandable storage once I get my hands on a decent sized microSD.Overall, this phone is definitely a worthwhile upgrade if youve still got a phone from 2 years back. Dont go for the S6, either. The price youd have to splurge just for a more accommodating 64 GB size is about the same as the S7 anyways, and that expandable storage is definitely worth the money.

When I first received it I saw it was smaller than I thought. My old phone was done so I took this phone to Verizon to get it activated. They pulled out the little carrier for the sd card and sim card and it was broke He was able to hold it together and lay the cards down and slide it back in the slot and they stayed. Got it activated and then notice there was a deep scratch on the main button you push at the bottom smh. It works okay but doesnt keep a charge long which was the start of my issues with my old one. I need a phone so now Im stuck but not happy and dont ever get a refurbished phone. Please learn from me. Highly disappointed

According to the product description, this phone was supposed to be an unlocked phone, previously from Sprint. It is also refurbished, with full functionality and 910 cosmetic appearance. So far, the only part of that description that has proved to be true is that it is so far seemingly fully functional although my voicemail does not work, which I will explain shortly. What I actually got was a Verizon phone with Verizon branding on the glass back of the device and Verizon software baked in with a fair bit of mostly cosmetic damage, with the exception of very minor scratching on the camera lens. The back of the phone has a fair few scratches, discolouration in one corner of the back glass along with a hairline crack in the back glass. There are also scratches on the back camera lens and chips in the paint on the bezel around the camera lens. Thankfully, the front is damage free. However, since the phone is locked to Verizon currently, while I can still text and make calls with my Virgin Sim Card, I cannot check my voicemail until I can get my phone unlocked on the 5th of December when the new rules come into play. If your alright with some cosmetic damage and a phone temporarily locked to a different carrier unless you are a Verizon customer, then this phone is actually a pretty good deal. Also to note, the cable and adapter that come with it are not very good quality, and there are no headphones or adapter for transferring data from your old phone included in this deal.

After years of cheap phones, I finally decided to move on to a flagship phone on the Android market. This device checks all the boxes. Fast, blazing fast. Josh Gordon fast. Excellent visuals on the screen. The color is saturated rather than sharp. Usually I prefer it the other way, but it has grown on me. I also like The camera is very nice. May not blow you away like some pictures taken from the newest flagship phones, but this camera will more than work for 8 of 10 people. This device has plenty of useful features. Wireless charging, always on display, good talk quality and you can expand storage up to 512GBs Wow.. . This device is loaded. I researched for months before making the purchase. Even though it is over 2 years old, the price has depreciated very well and it does pretty much everything the phones 3 and sometimes 4 times the cost of this 275. Find a better value than the S7, you really cant.
